Genetic Polymorphism Analysis of 5' Untranslated Region of Thyroglobulin Gene in Bali Cattle (Bos Javanicus) From Three Different Regions of Indonesia

The g.422C>T nucleotide variations in the 5' untranslated region (5'UTR) of TG gene (called as TG5) has been reported to be associated with level in intramuscular fat (IMF) content or marbling in beef cattle. The objective of this study was to confirm genetic polymorphism of TG5 gene in Bali cattle populations from three different regions as the main resources of Bali cattle in Indonesia. A total of 200 head of Bali cattle have been performed genotyping on TG5 gene using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment lenght polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method and sequence analysis. Results of the study confirmed that TG5 was monomorphic in Bali cattle wherever their origin regions. Moreover, nine candidate SNPs were detected within 5'UTR of TG gene in Bali cattle compared to Genbank reference sequences, although no SNP variations among Bali cattle sample studied. The new other genetic markers within an entire TG gene suggested to be explored and verified for their polymorphisms in Bali cattle. The nine candidate SNPs were also required further verification and validation in a larger sample to be regarded as new SNPs between Bali cattle and Genbank reference sequences

The result of this research shows during the year 2007 -2011, APBD allocated to education sector experiencing fluctuations in the amount of the APBD either the percentage. North Aceh regency allocated the most of APBD to eduction sector meanwhile Pidie Regency allocated the least amount of it\u27s budget of APBD to eduction sector. The utilizing of education funding is focused at nine years old education. Aceh Utara received the largest operational school donation ( BOS ) fund among the regency/ city, and Sabang City received the fewest. Kabupaten Aceh Utara merupakan kabupaten yang paling banyak mengalokasikan APBD-nya untuk sektor pendidikan, sedangkan Kabupaten Pidie adalah kabupaten yang mengalokasi APBD untuk sektor pendidikan paling sedikit. Pemanfaatan pembiayaan pendidikan terfokus pada pendidikan 9 tahun. Kabupaten Aceh Utara menerima BOS terbesar sedangkan penerima BOS terkecil adalah Kota Sabang. Besaran BOS yang diterima kabupaten/kota ini berhubungan dengan jumlah murid menurut jenjang pendidikan dan jumlah sekolah, serta berhubungan dengan tingkat kesejahteraan

Analisis Perencanaan Kawasan Pariwisata Danau Buatan Kota Pekanbaru

The aim of this study was to see how Tourism Region planning Buatan Lake Pekanbaru. Tourism Regional Planning aims to increase the potential of existing attractions and Increase PAD Pekanbaru.This study used a qualitative research method with descriptive data analysis. The concept of using the theory of management theory and the concept of tourism planning. In collecting the data, the researcher used interview, observation, and documentation. By using key informants as a source of information and triangulation techniques as a source interview of data validation.These results indicate that the Planning Buatan Lake Pekanbaru tourism must be optimized to the maximum. The potential that exists in Buatan Lake very diverse and if developed would be the leading tourist sector as Sumatra. Additionally RIPPDA Pekanbaru City policy should be made as soon as possible, because the RIPPDA a guide line for the city of Pekanbaru in developing tourism. Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Adopsi Gas Bumi Rumah Tangga di Kecamatan Limapuluh Kota Pekanbaru

This research was conducted in Limapuluh district of Pekanbaru city with problems that is (1) What are the factors that affect the rate of adoption of household gas in Limapuluh district of Pekanbaru city? (2) How is the rate of adoption of household gas in Limapuluh district of Pekanbaru city?. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the factors that influence the adoption of household gas innovation and socio-economic community towards the existence of new innovations in the form of household gas fuel in Limapuluh district of Pekanbaru city. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study is the community that installed the household gas in Limapuluh district of Pekanbaru city. With a total sample of 44 respondents and using cross tabulation to test the indicators affecting the adoption of household gas. In the data collection of research using observation techniques and questionnaires. The result of this study indicate that the factors that affect the rate of adoption of household gas that includes the nature of innovation adn socio-economic community by using cross tabulation. Factor of nature of innovation toward adoption of natural gas have positive relationship and very influence of good innovation character then adoption of innovation in society hence will follow good, but socio-economic factor to household gas adoption show less influence because not always having socio-economic status high then it would be good also in adopting new innovation, it is evident in tabulation table cross. A Reinterpretation of the Baturetno Formation: Stratigraphic Study of the Baturetno Basin, Wonogiri, Central Java

DOI:10.17014/ijog.2.3.125-137This paper focuses on the Quaternary Baturetno Formation. An earlier research concluded that the black clay of the Baturetno Formation formed as a ‘palaeolake' deposit. The ‘palaeolake' was interpreted to form due to the shifting course of the Bengawan Solo Purba River in relation to Pliocene tectonic tilting in the southern Java. The stratigraphy of the Baturetno Formation was observed in the western part of the Baturetno Basin, and based on marker beds, the Baturetno Formation was classified into three units: (1) Gravel unit (GR) in the upper part, (2) clay unit (CU) in the middle part, and (3) sand-gravel unit (SG) in the lower part. There are floating gravel fragments of andesite, claystone, coral, and limestone with diameters of up to 10 cm in the clay unit. The particle size of sediment reflects the environment, but the lake deposition occurs under very quiet conditions. The occurrence of these fragments within the clay cannot be explained if the clay was deposited within a lake environment. The occurrence of floating fragments in the black clay of Baturetno Formation can best be explained through mudflow process. The cohesive strength of the mudflow is responsible for the ability of large fragments to float within the mud matrix. In general, the Baturetno Formation is inferred to be an alluvial fan deposit. The presence of sand, gravel, and mud are characteristics of alluvial fan deposits
