    THE OPTIMIZATION OF HPLC FOR QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF ACID ORANGE 7 AND SUDAN II IN COSMETIC PRODUCTS USING BOX BEHNKEN DESIGN

    Objective: The objective of this study was to optimize high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the determination of acid orange 7 (AO7) and sudan II (SII) in blusher product based on response surface methodology using box behnken design (BBD) approach. Methods: Some factors responsible for HPLC separation including column temperature, mobile phase composition, flow rate were optimized using BBD. The responses evaluated were peak area, retention time, and tailing factor. AO7 and SII in blusher product has different properties, therefore both analytes were analysed using C18 column (Thermo Synergy Gold 250 mm x 4.6 mm i.d.,5 µm) using Shimadzu LC 20AD chromatograph equipped with photo-diode array (PDA) detector at 300-650 nm. The mobile phase used was acetonitrile-water (1:1 v/v), and acetonitrile composition was optimized at 35-50% for separation AO7 (ACN1), and 80-90% for SII (ACN2), delivered at the flow rate of 0.9–1 ml/min, using column temperature at 30-40 °C. Results: BBD showed that separation of AO7 was influenced by the concentration of ACN1, flow rate and column temperature. These factors affected retention time, peak area, and tailing factor with peak area was the most significant. Tailing factor was not significantly affected by each factor, and retention time was slightly effected. Otherwise, Sudan II was affected by all these factors except ACN1. The optimal condition obtained based BBD was ACN1 43%, ACN2 90%, the flow rate of 0.9 ml/min and a column temperature of 40 °C. Conclusion: BBD can be used to get optimum condition for analysis of AO7 and SII in blusher product

    This research aims to Analysis Thefactors that affect tax compliance on corporate taxpayers registered in KPP Madya Pekanbaru. Variables to be tested in this research is attitude of tax professional, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, financial condition, corporate facilities, organizatinal climate and tax compliance. The data in this research is primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed directly to the respondents. Respondents in this study is a tax professional who works at a company registered in KPP Madya Pekanbaru who have served a minimum of 1 year and ever filled out tax returns. Data collected from 92 respondents. In this study, the data obtained will be processed by multiple linear regression models (multiple regression).The results show that the attitude of tax professional bring a significant that affect on corporate tax compliance with a significant value 0,020 (alpha 0,05). Subjective norm affect on corporate tax compliance with significant value 0,013. Perceived behavior affect on corporate tax compliance with a significant value 0,005. Financial condition affect on corporate tax compliance with significant value 0,046. Corporate facilities affect on corporate tax complince with significant value 0.009. Organizational climate has a positive affect partially on corporate tax compliance, with significant value 0,031

    This study aims to examine the fertility of the soil in the Sihiong Village, Sinar Sabungan Villageand Lumban Lobu Village, Bonatua Lunasi Subdistricts, Toba Samosir District. This research wasconducted in Sihiong Village, Sinar Sabungan Village and Lumban Lobu Village, SubdistrictsBonatua Lunasi, District Toba Samosir and Laboratory analysis of samples carried out in Researchand Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra. The method used in thisstudy is a survey method to make observations on the soil profile and on each layer of the soilhorizon to compare the soil fertility.The soil in the village Sihiong have a somewhat acidic soil pH,organic matter content is moderate, moderate cation exchange capacity capability, very low basesaturation while high levels of total soil ferrum. The soil in the Village Sinar Sabungan have acidicsoil pH, organic matter content is moderate, the ability of the cation exchange capacity of themedium, which is very low base saturation while high levels of total soil ferrum. The soil fertility inthe village of Lumban Lobu have acidic soil pH, organic matter content is moderate, the ability ofthe cation exchange capacity of the medium, which is very low base saturation while high levels oftotal soil ferrum

    This study aimed to test the chemical properties of Ultisol and Brassica production by a combination of organic matter and minerals. This research was conducted at the gauze house, Compost Centre, and Research Technology Laboratory, Agriculture Faculty, University of North Sumatra, Medan. The research was conducted from September 2014 until May 2015. The research design used a randomized block design (RAK) by 2 factors treatments and two replications. The first factor is a mineral, M1: ash 250 g / 5 kg soil and M2: portland cement 62.5 g / 5 Kg of soil. The second factor (organic matters) are compost of durian skin by kefir activator (O1), compost of durian skin by yogurt activator (O2), compost of bagasse by kefir activator (O3), compost of bagasse by yogurt activator (O4), compost of sweet potato canopy by kefir activator (O5), compost of sweet potato canopy by yogurt activator (O6), compost of market waste by kefir activator (O7) and compost of market waste by yogurt activators (O8) each of all was 250 g / 5 kg soil. The results showed that organic matter gived significantly effect to increased plant fresh weight. But the effect was not significant to roots fresh weight, soil reaction (pH H2O) and C-organic. Mineral treatments gived significantly to increased the soil reaction (pH H2O). But the effect was not significant to plant fresh weight, root fresh weight and C-organic. Interactions of both treatments gived significantly to increased the soil reaction parameters (pH H2O) of all parameters observed

    Rudi Hartono Purba (080304042/Agribisnis) dengan judul Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Penawaran Jagung Di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus tahun 2012 dengan dibimbing oleh HM. Mozart B Darus, MSc dan Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS. Penawaran jagung di Sumatera Utara selama kurun waktu 27 tahun terakhir yaitu dari tahun 1984-2010 cenderung mengalami peningkatan. Penawaran jagung meningkat setiap tahun seiring dengan semakin berkembangnya industri-industri yang berbahan baku jagung seperti industri tepung jagung dan pakan ternak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga jagung dan luas panen jagung terhadap penawaran jagung di Sumatera Utara. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder dari tahun 1984-2010 yang mencakup data produksi, harga jagung, luas panen jagung, harga kedelai, dan harga pakan ternak. Data sekunder ini diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Sumatera Utara. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah harga jagung dan luas panen jagung. Jika harga jagung meningkat sebesar 1 rupiah maka jumlah penawaran jagung di Sumatera Utara juga meningkat sebesar 297,201 ton dan jika luas panen jagung meningkat sebesar 1 hektar maka jumlah penawaran jagung di Sumatera Utara juga meningkat sebesar 2,208 ton

    Jawa Timur terletak pada pertemuan tiga lempeng tektonik besar antara lain Eurasia, Hindia-Australia, dan Pasifik. Aktivitas seismik tersebut mengakibatkan terjadinya pergerakan lempeng dan mempengaruhi posisi suatu objek dapat berubah secara dinamis. Perubahan yang terjadi menandakan adanya deformasi. Deformasi merupakan Perubahan yang terjadi pada posisi, bentuk dan dimensi dari suatu objek yang berada di bumi. CORS meruapakan stasiun pengamatan GNSS bersifat statik yang beroperasi selama 24 jam. Data pengamatan CORS dapat digunakan untuk memantau arah dan kecepatan pergeseran deformasi yang terjadi di suatu daerah.Penelitian ini berfokus pada penentuan kecepatan pergeseran dan regangan menggunakan data pengamatan tujuh CORS yang berada di wilayah Jawa Timur yaitu CTUL, CNGA, CMJT, CMLG, CMAG, CPAS dan CLUM pada tahun 2013 sampai dengan 2016. Titik IGS yang digunakan yaitu AIRA, ALIC, BAKO, COCO, DARW, LHAZ dan PIMO. Pengolahan data menggunakan software ilmiah GAMIT.Penelitian ini menghasilkan arah pergeseran menuju ke arah tenggara. Kecepatan pergeseran CORS adalah sebesar -0,00162 m/tahun sampai dengan -0,01463 m/tahun untuk komponen utara, 0,02529 m/tahun sampai dengan 0,03600 m/tahun untuk komponen timur dan -0,00182 m/tahun sampai dengan 0,02810 m/tahun untuk komponen vertikal. Regangan yang terjadi pada titik pengamatan berkisar -5,25926458 x 10-9 strain/year sampai dengan 7,03391481 x 10-8 strain/year

    Komoditas hortikultura ini juga mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang tinggi, dapat menjadi sumber pendapatan bagi masyarakat dan petani karena memiliki keunggulan berupa nilai jual yang tinggi, bahkan sayuran saat ini telah mampu memasok kebutuhan konsumen melalui pasar tradisional dan pasar modern. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen membeli sayuran di pasar tradisional dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara karakteristik konsumen dengan tingkat keputusan konsumen membeli sayuran di pasar tradisional. Data yang digunakan berasal dari data sekunder dan data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor yang mempengaruhi yakni faktor kualitas produk (56%), faktor pengaruh peran orang lain atau keluarga (12%), faktor lokasi (78%), faktor harga (86%) dan faktor pelayanan pasar (28%).     This study aimed to get the genetic diversity some varieties of black soybeans due to the influence of gamma rays. Research was conducted at Balai Benih Induk Tanaman Palawija, Deli Serdang (+ 25 m above sea level) from April - August 2012 used randomized block design. The first factor is the radiation doses with 4 level are 0, 10, 15, and 20 krad and the second factor is three varieties are Detam-1, Detam-2, and Cikuray. The treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that radiation significant of percentage of germination, plant height at 4-5 week after plant and harvest time. Varieties significant of plant height at 2-5 week after plant, flowering time, harvest time, number of empty pods, seed weight per sample, weight of 100 seeds, but not significant of the number of productive branch and number of pod contain. Whereas, interaction between radiation and varieties only significant of plant height at 4 week after plant. Coefficient variability genotipe values ranged between 0,39 – 17,85 and coefficient variability fenotipe values ranged between 1,21 – 18,76. Heritability values ​​ranged between 0,10 - 0,96.
