    Study of Visiting Activities in the New Normal Era

    The COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia has caused the changing interaction in visiting other people's house. The interaction is certainly new, following health protocols as a strategy to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The change that occur becomes interesting to study as a need to find the new patterns or trends that exist in the new normal era. Therefore, this study aims to examine the pattern of visiting activities in the new normal era. The method used is qualitative phenomenology, with observations and interviews of the adaptation of visit others in the new normal era. The adaptation to COVID-19 experienced by most people and spaces, such as understanding each other in carrying out health protocols when doing the visit to others. Patterns of activities are influenced by the sense of familiarity or a sense of kinship with people when doing interaction. When friends or relatives come, the behavior of the residents is different from people who don't know each other in visiting activities
