    In Ayurveda treatment combines products derived from plants, animal, mineral, etc. Amongst all types of Ayurvedic preparations plant-based preparations play a significant and important role in the Ayurvedic healing process. Healing with medicinal plants is as old as mankind itself. We have been using medicinal plants since extremely long time. The use of plant based medicinal products and supplements have increased tremendously over the past three decades. Ṛddhi is an important member of Aṣṭavarga group of plants. Traditionally it is used in many herbal preparations for its rejuvenating and health promoting properties. Polyherbal formulation containing tubers of this herb possess properties viz. full of vital energy, high in antioxidants, and boosting immunity. The demand of this herb is increasing day by day but due to scarcity of this plant in wild, unaware about authentic botanical source, non-existing cultivation practices there is widespread problem of adulteration or substitution with other plants. So by taking into account the above situation this systematic review has conducted to find out authentic botanical source of Ṛddhi

    Clarithromycin: overview and its current clinical utility in the treatment of respiratory tract infections

    Upper respiratory tract infection (URTI) is a common reason for medical consultation all over the world. Streptococcus A (Strep A) and other infections can cause sore throat as well as pharyngitis or tonsillitis. It may also result in post-infection sequelae, including acute post-streptococcal glomerulonephritis, acute rheumatic fever, and rheumatic heart disease.  As a result, there is a need for an antibiotic that is effective, easy to administer, has a favorable sensitivity pattern, and preferably has some additional pharmacodynamic properties that complement the basic antibacterial profile. Clarithromycin is a macrolide antibacterial agent with broad-spectrum activity against respiratory pathogens. It is especially active against atypical Chlamydia pneumoniae, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, and Legionella spp. It is well absorbed and stable at gastric pH. It is metabolized by the cytochrome P450 enzymes and forms 14-hydroxy clarithromycin, which is more active than the parent compound, especially against Hemophilus influenzae. It acts by preventing protein synthesis by binding to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosomes. In dosages of 500 to 1000 mg/day for 5 to 14 days, clarithromycin is effective in the treatment of community-acquired upper and lower respiratory tract infections in hospital and community settings. It exerts significant anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and post-antibiotic effects. It provides a viable option for the treatment of community-acquired respiratory tract infections, in both children and adults.  

    HYBRID AC/MT-HVDC TRANSMISSION LINES AND ITS EFFECTIVE OPERATION USING ENHANCED-FISH SWARM OPTIMIZER

    Multi-Terminal-High Voltage Direct Current (MT-HVDC) transmission lines are used to transmit electricity over long distances with lower losses compared to traditional Alternating Current (AC) transmission lines. However, HVDC transmission lines have limitations in terms of their ability to handle AC system faults and the need for expensive AC/DC converters at each end of the line. To address these limitations, a hybrid AC/MT-HVDC transmission line can be used. This type of transmission line combines the benefits of both AC and DC transmission, allowing for more efficient and reliable operation. In this article, an Enhanced-Fish Swarm Optimizer (E-FSO) is presented for the efficient maintenance of hybrid AC/MT-HVDC transmission lines. An external repository is included in the proposed E-FSO to preserve that is not dominant. Additionally, fuzzy decision-making is used to choose the hybrid AC/HVDC transmission lines' optimal compromise operating point. In these systems, in addition to the complete control of AC line through parameters for the dedicated generators and transformers connections, and Volt-Ampere Reactive (VAR) compensations, the Voltage Source Converters (VSCs) action and response controllable voltage is engaged. The outcomes of the experiment show the efficacy and dominance of the suggested algorithm, which has high stability indices compared to several competitive algorithms. Nevertheless, the suggested E-FSO is effective in producing a compromise operating point that satisfies the operator's needs while also obtaining well-diversified solutions

    Measurement of the double-differential inclusive jet cross section in proton-proton collisions at s\sqrt{s} = 5.02 TeV

    International audienceThe inclusive jet cross section is measured as a function of jet transverse momentum pTp_\mathrm{T} and rapidity yy. The measurement is performed using proton-proton collision data at s\sqrt{s} = 5.02 TeV, recorded by the CMS experiment at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 27.4 pb1^{-1}. The jets are reconstructed with the anti-kTk_\mathrm{T} algorithm using a distance parameter of RR = 0.4, within the rapidity interval y\lvert y\rvert<\lt 2, and across the kinematic range 0.06 <\ltpTp_\mathrm{T}<\lt 1 TeV. The jet cross section is unfolded from detector to particle level using the determined jet response and resolution. The results are compared to predictions of perturbative quantum chromodynamics, calculated at both next-to-leading order and next-to-next-to-leading order. The predictions are corrected for nonperturbative effects, and presented for a variety of parton distribution functions and choices of the renormalization/factorization scales and the strong coupling αS\alpha_\mathrm{S}
