A psycho-social situation of participants of senior clubs

Niniejsza praca podejmuje temat sytuacji psychospołecznej uczestników klubu seniora. Praca składa się z 5 rozdziałów. Pierwszy przedstawia biologiczne, psychologiczne oraz społeczne aspekty starzenia się. W drugim rozdziale przybliżono zmiany demograficzne, które zachodzą w społeczeństwie, politykę wobec osób starszych oraz aktywność kulturalną seniorów. Trzeci rozdział traktuje o infrastrukturze instytucjonalnej wspierającej osoby starsze. Przedstawiona jest tu działalność klubów seniora. Przybliżono społeczne, kulturalne oraz profilaktyczne aspekty tych instytucji. W czwartym rozdziale zawarta została metodologia badań. Ostatni rozdział jest analizą sytuacji psychospołecznej uczestników krakowskich klubu seniora na podstawie badań własnych.The present master’s thesis is concerned with a psycho-social situation of participants of senior clubs. The work contains 5 units. The first one presents biological, psychological and social aspects of getting old. The second unit focuses on demographic changes which appear in the society, the policy towards elderly people and cultural activities which seniors take part in. The third unit describes institutional infrastructure which supports elderly people. This part presents organizational, social, cultural and prophylaxis aspects of senior clubs. The fourth unit contains the methodology of the research. The fifth part of this work is the analysis psycho-social situation of the participants senior clubs in Cracow on the basis of the author’s own research
