Utilização de ResÃduos Agro-Industriais em Processos Biotecnológicos como Perspectiva de Redução do Impacto Ambiental
The increasing concern about the environment has been mobilizing some market segments. Several governmental bodies and industries are preparing to apply an environment policy that diminishes the negative impacts to the nature. The industrial residue, after being generated, needs an adjusted destination, since, beyond creating potential environment problems, the residues represent losses of raw materials and energy, demanding significant investments in the pollution controlling treatments. The food industry produces a series of residues of high value of (re)utilization. Many works study the residues bioutilization such as the crushed sugar cane for protein enrichment of animal ration. In this work it will be presented a study of a possible usage of the crushed sugar cane for the production of Spirulina with satisfactory protein increment results when compared with other results gotten in literature.The increasing concern about the environment has been mobilizing some market segments. Inúmeros órgãos governamentais e indústrias estão se preparando para aplicar uma polÃtica ambiental que diminua os impactos negativos à natureza. O resÃduo industrial, depois de gerado, necessita de destino adequado, pois, além de criar potenciais problemas ambientais, os resÃduos representam perdas de matérias-primas e energia, exigindo investimentos significativos em tratamentos para controlar a poluição. A indústria de alimentos produz uma série de resÃduos de alto valor de (re)utilização. Muitos trabalhos estudam a bioutilização de resÃduos tais como o bagaço de cana-de-açúcar para enriquecimento protéico de ração animal. Neste trabalho será apresentado um estudo sobre a possÃvel utilização do bagaço de cana-de-açúcar para produção de Spirulina com resultados de incremento protéico bastantes satisfatórios quando comparados com outros resultados obtidos na literatura
O Comportamento Alimentar e a Insatisfação com a Imagem Corporal das Atletas do Basquete Feminino de Uma Cidade do Interior de São Paulo
The most important eating disorders are anorexia and bulimia nervosa. This study intended to appraise athletes' behavior related to food , weight control and body image. The obtained results were: 25% present light distortions of their body image and 16,66% show moderate distortions. Based on the silhouettes of Stunkard et al., 66,66% overestimate their weight, 16,66% show dissatisfaction in relation to their thinness, 16,67% are pleased with their body weight. The majority of the athletes presents proper body composition, but presents a distortion of their body image.Os principais Transtornos Alimentares – TAs são a anorexia e a bulimia nervosas. Verificou-se o comportamento de atletas com relação à alimentação, controle de peso e a avaliação da imagem corporal. Observou-se que: 25% apresentam distorção leve da imagem corporal e 16,66%, distorção moderada. Nas Silhuetas de Stunkard et al., 66,66% superestimam o peso, 16,67%, possuem insatisfação com relação à magreza. A maioria das atletas apresentam composição corporal adequada, mas revelam distorção da sua imagem corporal
