The aim of the present work was an investigation of the biological activity of antibacterial complex–silver methenamine poultry farming. Methods: The study of biochemical and hematological indices of blood we performed one day after single and course of oral drug administration on broilers Ross 308. Evaluation of biological action in industrial poultry farming was carried out on a group of 30 thousand broilers after a course of oral administration. Results: revealed the silver complex (in form of water solution) has no toxic effects on blood parameters. It was shown the positive influence on survival and productivity of broilers. Conclusion: Methenamine silver has certain potential as prospect drug and food additive

Background: Developing of novel pharmaceutic agents is an actual topic for chemotherapy. Heavy metals possess a significant cytotoxic properties and some of them are widly introduced in medical practice, e.g. cisplatin.Aim and Objective of this study was to investigate the cytostatic effects of prospective silver-based preparation on viral bovine leukemia model in vivo and lymphoblast cells in vitro.Material and Methods: Silver salt of methenamine was suggested as prospective substance and tested was tested on black-motley cattle with bovine leukemia to reveal influence on hematological parameters. Preparation was applied in form of 0.5% solution in different doses and was administered as single intravenous injection. Blood parameters were determined by triple hematological monitoring. Investigation of cytostatic activity was conducted on the leukemic cells of HUT-102 line in Vitro in concentration range of 0.03-3.0 mg/ml.Results: The results showed normalization of blood parameters in dose-dependent manner after intravenous injection of methenamine silver salt. It was revealed a pronounced inhibitory effect of silver-based drug on the leukemic cells both in vitro and in vivo. Control blood test one month after experimental therapy confirmed the stability of the achieved results. Conclusion: The tested drug showed a moderate cytostatic effect. Methenamine silver nitrate can be considered as prospective pharmacological agent. Bovine leukemia was shown as a convenient model for the development of new treatment of blood diseases. Continuation of the work is of interest for both veterinary and medical pharmacotherapy. Keywords: methenamine silver nitrate, HUT 102 cells; lymphocytes, leucosis, cytostatic activity, bovine leukemia, silver hexamethylenetetramine

Objective: Investigation of genotoxicity effects of the new antibacterial silver-based compound with of general formula [Ag (CH2)6 N4]+NO3.Methods: The comet assay applied for assessment of genotoxic effects on leukocytes of mice blood. DNA damage was assessed on the percentage of DNA in a comet tail (tail DNA), under influence of silver complex in different concentrations. Results: During experiments found a significant increase in the level of DNA damage in cells, at the maximum tested concentrations. At low doses, the drug has no significant genotoxic effect. Conclusion: Tested silver complex did not cause DNA damage at low concentrations and could be considered as a base for new antibacterial drug.Ă‚

The Russian system of certification of scientists is in a condition of permanent reforming in recent years; however, results of these reforms are insufficiently high . It is connected with imperfection of legal regulation of the relations arising in this area. In the article, concrete measures for improvement of procedures of scientific certification and their legal fixing are proposed

Tensile strength of materials obtained by electric pulse consolidation of powders

A wide range of products of modern technology, obtained by electropulse consolidation of powders, has dimensions that do not exceed 10-15 mm in diameter, and their thickness varies from 1 to 10 mm. Standard mechanical testing methods for such sample sizes are often not applicable. The article investigates the possibility of determining the resistance to fracture of materials obtained from powders by electric pulse consolidation method using the test method for bending thin disks on an annular support and testing short cylinders according to the Brazilian test . A numerical simulation of the process of bending a thin disk on an annular support and compression of a short cylinder according to the “Brazilian test” scheme has been carried out. Techniques are verified by testing small-sized thin disks and short cylinders made of gray cast iron and graphite. It is revealed a difference in the nature of the destruction of cast iron samples (plastic failure) and samples of graphite (brittle fracture). The good correspondence of the characters of destruction of graphite samples and samples produced from powders by the electric pulse consolidation is shown. The results of comparative studies of the tensile strength of compacts of nano and ultrafine alumina powders with a spherical shape of particles obtained by the SPS method are presented. The influence of various additives and manufacturing technology of materials on the resistance of the material to brittle fracture is revealed. The effect of the thickness of the cylinders on the strength of aluminum oxide Al2O3 is investigated. The possibility of determining the tensile strength of materials obtained by consolidating from powders using the electric pulse method by bending small-sized thin disks on an annular support, and short cylinders using the “Brazilian test” scheme is demonstrated

Strategies of Territorial Development and Quality of Life

The Russian Federation differs in a considerable variety of regional conditions that generates differentiation of territories on indicators of social and economic development. These distinctions demand the account in strategy of development of subjects of federation and municipalities. At the same time, all these strategies have to be directed on achievement of the general reference point - improvement of quality and a standard of life of the population. The comparative analysis of the strategic documents developed and accepted at the level of territories showed that this reference point is not always accurately designated as the priority. It sets the direction of further development of the theory and practice of strategic management of territorial development in the country

Advantages of the method of high-voltage consolidation of powder materials

The main features of high-voltage electropulse consolidation (H-VEC) of powder materials and the unique possibilities of the method caused by them are considered. The electro-thermal processes in the H-VEC at the contacts between the powder particles and in the macroscale of the whole consolidated sample are analyzed. The results of calculations of the dynamics of closure (collapse) of interparticle pores in the consolidated material are presented. The experimental results of high voltage consolidation W-based heavy alloys are discussed and a theoretical analysis of the kinetics of compaction of powder materials is made. The results of investigation of the macro- and microstructure of consolidated materials and the stress - strain testing are presented. Compression testing showed that all tested alloys bear compressive stress at room temperature without failure. Figure 1 shows a characteristic diagram of the compressive deformation, which indicates the appearance and development of plastic deformation at the stress above 1250 MPa. In modern conditions, such qualities of commercial real estate objects as energy efficiency, accessibility, safety and environmental friendliness are becoming important. Preliminary analysis has shown that the focus on such factors in the creation and redevelopment of commercial real estate intensifies the process of development of urban areas adjacent to this object. The objectives of the study are to analyze the influence of factors of economy, environmental friendliness and accessibility of commercial real estate on the standard of living of the population based on the construction of regression models for the secondary residential real estate market. The following research methods were used in the work: analysis and synthesis, correlation and regression analysis. The result of the work was an assessment of the impact of the qualitative characteristics of a commercial real estate object on the standard of living of the population of the surrounding urban areas and the dynamics of their sustainable development
