Charged and Neutral Currents in a 3-3-1 Model with Right-Handed Neutrinos

The charged and the neutral currents are obtained by using a formal algebraical approach (developed and applied by the author) within the exact solution of a 3-3-1 gauge model with right-handed neutrinos. The entire Standard Model phenomenology is recovered without imposing any supplemental condition, but only by choosing an adecquate set of parameters from the very beginning of the calculus. A new and rich phenomenology regarding the particles and their currents occurs as well. The appealing feature of our results resides in the exact expressions of the currents which need not the adjustment usually due to the small mixing angle ϕ\phi between neutral bosons ZZ and Z′Z^{\prime} (like in the most of the papers in the literature treating the same issue). The required mixing was considered and aleready performed as an intermediate step by the solving method itself, since the physical eigenstates of those bosons were determined and then identified in the neutral currents.Comment: 14 pages, 1 Table, no figure

An Approach to Relate Viewpoints and Modeling Languages

    Get PDF
The architectural design of distributed enterprise applications from the viewpoints of different stakeholders has been proposed for some time, for example, as part of RM-ODP and IEEE 1471, and seems now-a-days to gain acceptance in practice. However, much work remains to be done on the relationships between different viewpoints. Failing to relate viewpoints may lead to a collection of viewpoint models that is inconsistent, and may therefore lead to an incorrect implementation. This paper defines an approach that helps designers to relate different viewpoints to each other. Thereby, it helps to enforce the consistency of the overall design. The results of this paper are expected to be particularly interesting for Model Driven Architecture (MDA) projects, since the proposed models can be used for the explicit definition of the models and relationships between models in an MDA trajectory

The road plan model: Information model for planning road building activities

    Get PDF
The general building contractor is presented with an information model as an approach for deriving a high-level work plan of construction activities applied to road building. Road construction activities are represented in a Road Plan Model (RPM), which is modeled in the ISO standard STEP/EXPRESS and adopts various concepts from the GARM notation. The integration with the preceding road design stage and the succeeding phase of resource scheduling is discussed within the framework of a Road Construction Model. Construction knowledge is applied to the road design and the terrain model of the surrounding road infrastructure for the instantiation of the RPM. Issues regarding the implementation of a road planner application supporting the RPM are discussed

The seesaw mechanism at TeV scale in the 3-3-1 model with right-handed neutrinos

We implement the seesaw mechanism in the 3-3-1 model with right-handed neutrinos. This is accomplished by the introduction of a scalar sextet into the model and the spontaneous violation of the lepton number. We identify the Majoron as a singlet under SUL(2)⊗UY(1)SU_L(2)\otimes U_Y(1) symmetry, which makes it safe under the current bounds imposed by electroweak data. The main result of this work is that the seesaw mechanism works already at TeV scale with the outcome that the right-handed neutrino masses lie in the electroweak scale, in the range from MeV to tens of GeV. This window provides a great opportunity to test their appearance at current detectors, though when we contrast our results with some previous analysis concerning detection sensitivity at LHC, we conclude that further work is needed in order to validate this search.Comment: about 13 pages, no figure
