Evaluation of Networks Vanet Vehicular Oriented Traffic in the City of Bogota

El artículo a continuación presenta un análisis y estudio de las Redes vehiculares Ad Hoc (VANET) la cual es una tecnología dirigida al mejoramiento de las condiciones de los vehículos en las vías, se describe sus conceptos fundamentales, característicos y estándares de comunicación. En base de diferentes artículos y estudios sobre esta tecnología se toma la información más relevante y se establece una posible aplicación de estas redes enfocadas en mejorar la movilidad del tráfico vehicular en la ciudad de Bogotá, ya que al poderse suministrar información entre vehículos y usuarios, se pueden reportar situaciones peligrosas en la vía o situaciones de alerta de gran ayuda.The following article presents an analysis and study of Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) which is a technology aimed at improving the conditions of vehicles on roads, their fundamental characteristic concepts and communication standards described.
