The use of coatings of functionalized nanostructured carbon based composite to inhibit corrosion is an area getting much of attention among scientists and industrialists. Lately, Graphene has started to play an important role in many applications. Graphene possesses excellent mechanical and thermal stability, low chemical reactivity, impermeability to most of gases, and high transparency. Thanks to these properties, Graphene is so far finding some applications for protective coatings. However, Graphene is apolar and nanostructured, so that is difficult to be dispersed into polar polymers as epoxy resin. In this paper, results of using chemically modified Graphene to reinforce the physico-mechanical properties and corrosive resistance properties of the epoxy paint coating are presented. Graphene was modified by oxidative method with mixtures of H2SO4, H3PO4 and KmnO4 solutions. The properties of obtained products were characterized by somephysico-chemical methods such as Fourier transformed Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD). The physico-mechanical and anti-corrosion properties of paints based on chemically modified Graphene-epoxy nanocomposite have been exceptionally superior to that of paints based on epoxy and Graphene

This paper reports the effect of the nanocarbon materials addition on the physico-mechanical properties and corrosion protective ability of epoxy based paint coatings for the steel surfaces. In this work the nanotubes and nanosheets (layers) structures of nanocarbon materials were used for the investigation. The properties of received products were measured by the test techniques for paint coating characterization. The results showed that the addition of the nanocarbon materials (only ratio of 0.1 wt%) significantly improved the physico-mechanical performance and corrosion protection ability of epoxy coatings for steel surfaces. However improvement quantity depends on the structure of nanocarbon materials. The obtained results showed that the nanosheets structure of carbons coatings made the physico-mechanical properties of the epoxy coating increased better than those of nanotube structure.

    Get PDF
This paper studied problems in EFL students’ paragraph writing. The research participants were first-year students of English in Tay Do University (TDU). To achieve the desired aims of the current study, the researcher combined both qualitative and quantitative methods, using questionnaires, interviews, and observations as the main instruments. The researcher used the package of social sciences (SPSS) for analysis. Research results showed that the freshmen at TDU often encountered problems in writing paragraphs. These accounted for grammatical structures, vocabulary, and coherence. Basing on the research results, students could recognize their difficulties when writing and find some new ways to overcome them. It is suggested that teachers should find and update some new teaching methods so as to develop students’ paragraph writing skills. Article visualizations

Although the local cuisine in many tourist destinations has played an important role in attracting tourists, and the local culinary experience could significantly influence tourists’ behaviours, the topic of the culinary experience of tourists has just emerged in the tourism literature in Vietnam. Through the case of Hue cuisine, this study aims to explore aspects of the culinary experience of tourists using the Experience Economy framework. Based on the qualitative data obtained in semi-structured interviews with twenty domestic tourists, the thematic analysis results show that four themes emerged in the culinary experience with Hue traditional cuisine. They include esthetics, education, escapism and entertainment. Based on these findings, several recommendations are proposed to enhance the culinary experience of domestic tourists visiting Hue, such as: telling stories about Hue specialties to tourists, enabling tourists to observe or get involved in certain cooking or decorating activities, or creating attractive check-in area with Hue local food.Mặc dù ẩm thực của một điểm đến có sức hấp dẫn thu hút khách du lịch và trải nghiệm ẩm thực địa phương có tác động đáng kể đến hành vi du lịch của du khách, tuy nhiên, chủ đề nghiên cứu về trải nghiệm ẩm thực của khách du lịch vẫn còn rất mới mẻ ở Việt Nam.

In the 21st century, speaking is considered to be one of the most important skills for language learners. However, it is so difficult for students to master this skill. It is so difficult for students to master this skill because they encounter in some common mistakes when speaking in class. Therefore, the purpose of this research aimed at finding out common errors in English speaking class of English majored freshmen at Tay Do University. Specifically, this study is done to figure out whether English majored freshmen at Tay Do University encounter regularly with some mistakes while speaking English in class. In this study, a questionnaire embraced 28 questions, including questions and statements which were used as the main instruments to collect the data. The participants in this study were 91 English majored freshmen in the 3 classes of English 14A, 14B, 14C at Tay Do University. The results of the study pointed out that the English-majored freshmen had some common errors and difficulties with vocabulary, pronunciation, psychology in English speaking class. It is hoped that this research can be helpful for both the English-majored freshmen and other non-majored English students at Tay Do University to realize their common errors in the process of improving and developing their speaking skill. The dynamics of agriculture in general and coffee farming systems need to be investigated to derive insights for policies and interventions to promote sustainable agriculture. Through a systematic approach, including historical and adaptive ones, the study aims to probe the spatial-temporal transition of coffee farming systems. We found evidence for the diverse adaptive capacity of the coffee farming systems in Dak Lak province in their response to various factors. Moreover, an economic comparison was made between coffee farming systems, including mono-coffee farms and coffee-based intercropped ones. The study showed that coffee-based intercropped farms yield higher returns than mono-cropping ones by productivity enhancement, land equity ratio, and gross margin. These findings provided empirical evidence to design appropriate policies for the sustainable development of coffee farming
