Littoral macroinvertebrates in Dankia lake in Lam Dong province

The littoral macroinvertebrates communities in Dankia lake in Lam Dong Province were surveyed at five sampling sites in five years from 2013 to 2017. A total of 23 taxa belonging to 15 familes, nine orders, three phyla were identified. The arthropoda phylum had the highest diversity (18 species) followed by mollusca phylum (4species) and the lowest diversity in the annelida phylum (1species). Number of species of class insecta were the highest (14 species). Meanwhile class oligochaeta were the lowest (1species). The number of species, density and Shannon diversity indices value of littoral macroinvertebrates were not variable through sampling sites, but they were seasonal changes. NĂNG SUẤT SINH SẢN CỦA LỢN NÁI GF24 KHI ĐƯỢC PHỐI VỚI CÁC DÒNG ĐỰC GF337, GF280 VÀ GF399 TRONG ĐIỀU KIỆN CHĂN NUÔI CÔNG NGHIỆP Ở MIỀN TRUNG

Tóm tắt: Nghiên cứu này đánh giá năng suất sinh sản của lợn nái GF24 khi được phối với 3 dòng đực GF280, GF337 và GF399 trong điều kiện chăn nuôi công nghiệp ở miền Trung. Nghiên cứu đã được tiến hành tại 5 trại chăn nuôi lợn nái công nghiệp ở 5 tỉnh: Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên Huế, Quảng Ngãi và Bình Định; với tổng số 4844 ổ đẻ từ lứa thứ nhất đến lứa tư của lợn nái GF24 được phối tinh với 3 dòng đực nêu trên. Kết quả cho thấy lợn nái GF24 khi được phối giống với 3 dòng đực GF280, GF337 và GF399 có năng suất sinh sản cao và không có sự khác nhau giữa 3 dòng đực. Các chỉ tiêu về số con sơ sinh, số con cai sữa, khối lượng lợn con sơ sinh, khối lượng lợn con cai sữa, số con và khối lượng lợn con cai sữa/nái/năm lần lượt đạt 12,7–13,2 con/ổ; 11,4–11,6 con/ổ; 1,37–1,40 kg/con; 5,89–6,00 kg/con, 28,4–29,1 con/nái/năm và 171,8–172,9 kg/nái/năm. Năng suất sinh sản của lợn nái GF24 từ lứa thứ nhất đến lứa tư đều đạt cao với số lợn con cai sữa/nái/năm dao động từ 28,46 đến 28,94 con và không sai khác giữa các lứa. Lợn nái GF24 và 3 dòng đực GF280, GF337 và GF399 có thể được sử dụng trong điều kiện chăn nuôi lợn công nghiệp ở miền Trung.Từ khóa: lợn nái GF24, các dòng đực GF, năng suất sinh sản, miền Trun

A Study on the Energy Transfer Between Ce3+ and Tb3+ in BaAl2O4

- BaAl2O4: x%Tb4O7; y%CeO2 (x = 0 and 1; y = 0 ÷ 2) materials are synthesized by the solid phase reaction method. The structural and optical properties of the phosphors are investigated by using X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and photoluminescence measurements. The photoluminescence excitation spectra show that the wavelength of 315 nm is optimal to excite the luminescence of Tb3+ and Ce3+ in the BaAl2O4 material. The photoluminescence spectra of the materials consist of band located from ~350 nm to ~430 nm of Ce3+ and a series of peaks at 489 nm, 543 nm, and 586 nm, corresponding to Tb3+ electronic transitions of 5D4 → 7FJ (j = 6,5,4), respectively. The emission intensity of Tb3+ is significantly enhanced and ones of Ce3+ is reduced when we increase the CeO2 doping concentration and keep the same of Tb4O7 doping concentration. These results clearly indicate the energy transfer from Ce3+ to Tb3+. The energy transfer efficiency reaches up to 71,57% for sample S3

Actual State and Measures to Raise Awareness of Thet Environmental and Natural Resource Management of Communities in the Coastal Areas of Thua Thien Hue Province

Results of a survey of the awareness of the environment and resource management among 350 households living in the coastal areas of Thua Thien Hue province reveal that most of local people (89%) say that coastal resources play an important part in their lives. Most of them are aware of direct benefits related to their livelihood or their own safety. However, few of them take interest in the degraded environment and coastal resources. Very few of them truly participate in activities of coastal resource management (21.2%), protection (13.9%) and sustainable exploitation (6.7%). Hence, an orientation to raise the awareness of the environment and coastal resource management in Thua Thua Thien Hue province is a necessity to equip people with knowledge of values and challenges to coastal areas as well as methods for sustainable use and management
