A FUNCTION PROPERTY OF POLYTROPHIC PROCESS WITH ASPECT OF TANGENT CONSTRUCTION

    Get PDF
In this paper, starting from general tangent equation in arbitrary point of specified curve, using principles of differential geometry and given mathematical transformation tangent equation of polytrophic function in p ā€“ v diagram was obtained. This form is convenient for solving numerous practical and theoretical problems in engineering thermodynamic by means of graphical method. It was shown that tangent can be constructed easily, using polytrophic equation only, but it is not example with other functions appearing in thermodynamics. Later, in this paper, we have given some methods, which refer to more exact construction of polytrophic and graphical analyze of polytrophic process

CALCULATION OF RELIABILITY OF TYPICAL COOLING SYSTEM BY DESIGNING OF TREE FAILURE METHOD

In the introductory part we give definitions and relationships to determine the reliability and probability of failure of technical systems. After that, the analysis and calculation of reliability, we proposed method, based on the construction of tree failure in the form of logical structure. The second part was performed to verify the model set on an example of typical cooling system. During this side of event for the loss has taken the minimum required flow of cooling fluid in heat exchanger . On the basis of tree failure in the general analysis is determined by the probability of adverse events, and reliability. At the end of the paper, the estimation of probability of failure, made the estimate, based on weight of i - event, using a typical circuit

QUALITY ANALYSIS OF BASIC RESOURCES FROM THE ASPECT OF FEASIBLITY OF ALUMINA CEMENT PRODUCTION

Main objective of this paper is feasibility of alumina cement production on the Republic of Srpska resources basis. As is known calcium-alumina cement is type of mineral hydraulic binder. As basic resources of CAC production are used bauxite and calcite. There are two main production processes: the fusion, Al2O3 less than 50% and the sintering process, Al2O3 higher than 50%. Republic of Srpska has two main bauxite deposits: Milici and Srebrenice mines and alumina factory in Zvornik. There are a couple calcite deposits with possible CAC technology requirements. Also the nearest CAC factory is in Istria, Republic of Croatia

HEAT TRANSFER THROUGH FLAT WALLS COMPLEX PROMBLEMS SOLVING BY ELECTRICAL ANALOGY

    Get PDF
Starting from the Fourier's law for stationary heat transfer and Ohm's law for DC through the resistor, the paper presents the analogy between thermodynamic and electrical quantities. Based on this analogy, has been used knowledge of circuit theory for of the heat transfer through walls in the multilayer characteristic positions to derive the schematic representation of corresponding heat resistors. At the end of paper, has been shown two typical examples of calculation heat transfer to the complex multi-layer walls in different positions, by applied electrical analogy.Heat transfer, Electrical analogy, Heat resistance, Electrical resistance, Equivalent system

This paper presents the results of the impact of basic additives in the process of heating (calcinations) of industrial aluminum hydroxide and the formation of the final stable phase Ī±- Al2O3. The influence of additives have been focused on the result of the impact, ie. on the kinetics of crystallization of Ī±-Al2O3, and the comparative analysis of the corresponding activation energies determined for each of the additives used. Based on the experimental results, using a suitable fundamental principles of the Arrhenius equation and suitable statistical tools, it can be concluded about the possible impact of certain quantity additives on the kinetics of the crystallization process, whose results are presented in this paper

This paper presents the results of tests perception of business environment and barriers to business by attitudes of entrepreneurs in local communities. It is well known that general region of the Balkan countries, is faced with the problem of the lack of investment as well as domestic and foreign direct investment. One of the major causes of course, are important obstacles in business that affect the negative perception of the business environment in the region. For this reason, there are a number of activities organized by local communities but also higher levels of government in order to implement the entire projects as well as measures to create a favorable business frinedly environment and create of the competitive area of business in relation to the neighboring countries
