A theory of evolving natural constants embracing Einstein's theory of general relativity and Dirac's large number hypothesis
Taking a hint from Dirac's large number hypothesis, we note the existence of
cosmic combined conservation laws that work to cosmologically long time. We
thus modify or generalize Einstein's theory of general relativity with fixed
gravitation constant to a theory for varying , which can be applied to
cosmology without inconsistency, where a tensor arising from the variation of G
takes the place of the cosmological constant term. We then develop on this
basis a systematic theory of evolving natural constants by finding out their cosmic combined counterparts involving factors of
appropriate powers of that remain truly constant to cosmologically long
time. As varies so little in recent centuries, so we take these natural

Higgs-Boson Production Associated with a Single Bottom Quark in Supersymmetric QCD
Due to the enhancement of the couplings between Higgs boson and bottom quarks
in the minimal sypersymmetric standard model (MSSM), the cross section of the
process pp(p\bar{p}) \to h^0b(h^0\bar{b})+X at hadron colliders can be
considerably enhanced. We investigated the production of Higgs boson associated
with a single high-p_T bottom quark via subprocess bg(\bar{b}g) \to
h^0b(h^0\bar{b}) at hadron colliders including the next-to-leading order (NLO)
QCD corrections in MSSM. We find that the NLO QCD correction in the MSSM
reaches 50%-70% at the LHC and 60%-85% at the Fermilab Tevatron in our chosen

Cyclodextrin/dextran based drug carriers for a controlled release of hydrophobic drugs in zebrafish embryos
Hydrogel-based drug carriers have been developed from biocompatible materials, cyclodextrin, dextran and poly(ethylene glycol) and were used in zebrafish embryos. Maleimide modified dextrans (Dex-mal) were functionalized with cyclodextrins and crosslinked to form a hydrogel using either per-6-thio-β-cyclodextrin (PSCD) or a combination of mono-6-thio-β-cyclodextrin (MSCD) and di-thiolated poly(ethylene glycol) (DSPEG). Using all-trans retinoic acid (RA) as a model hydrophobic drug, a sustained release from these cyclodextrin modified hydrogels was observed in vitro without an initial burst. This is because the cyclodextrin moiety in these hydrogels acts as a binding site for the RA. Furthermore, the nanosized hydrogel particles were injected into early stage zebrafish embryos in order to test in vivo release of RA and biocompatibility. We found the gel particles prepared from Dex-mal, MSCD and DSPEG were suitable for use in zebrafish embryos and it showed the release of RA in the embryos occurs in a controlled manner.Animal science
The holographic superconductors in higher-dimensional AdS soliton
We explore the behaviors of the holographic superconductors at zero
temperature for a charged scalar field coupled to a Maxwell field in
higher-dimensional AdS soliton spacetime via analytical way. In the probe
limit, we obtain the critical chemical potentials increase linearly as a total
dimension grows up. We find that the critical exponent for condensation
operator is obtained as 1/2 independently of , and the charge density is
linearly related to the chemical potential near the critical point.
Furthermore, we consider a slightly generalized setup the
Einstein-Power-Maxwell field theory, and find that the critical exponent for
condensation operator is given as in terms of a power parameter
of the Power-Maxwell field, and the charge density is proportional to the

Pseudoscalar Higgs boson production associated with a single bottom quark at hadron colliders
We compute the complete next-to-leading order (NLO) SUSY-QCD corrections for
the associated production of a pseudoscalar Higgs boson with a bottom quark via
bottom-gluon fusion at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and the Fermilab
Tevatron. We find that the NLO QCD correction in the MSSM reaches
at the LHC and at the Tevatron in our chosen parameter space

We report on a search for the decays J/Psi --> Ds- e+ nu_e + c.c., J/Psi -->
D- e+ nu_e + c.c., and J/Psi --> D0bar e+ e- + c.c. in a sample of 5.8 * 10^7
J/Psi events collected with the BESII detector at the BEPC. No excess of signal
above background is observed, and 90% confidence level upper limits on the
branching fractions are set: B(J/Psi --> Ds- e+ nu_e + c.c.)<4.8*10^-5, B(J/Psi
