The Study on Supervision Model for Online Advertising Click Fraud

    Get PDF
Considering the click fraud in the online advertising market, a basic game theoretic model for click fraud is built firstly. In this model, the Ads Network can choose to make click fraud supervision or trust, and advertising publishers can choose to publish advertisement honestly or to cheat. In this paper, we get the result of the mixed strategy Nash equilibrium solution firstly and then we extend the model to the 2-supervision game model, and then discuss the effect factors when the Ads network is punished due to click fraud. Further more, the model considers the influence on click fraud caused by the competitions between the multi-publishers and then get the new result of the Nash equilibrium solution. Based on the analysis above, click fraud can be effectively prevented in the following ways: intensifying the supervision and control process, implementing penalty on advertising network, reducing information asymmetry, choosing the honest publisher to publish advertisement, building the competitive mechanism, evaluating the online advertising effectiveness in time, and signing detailed operational contract in advance. Key words: Online advertising; Click fraud; Supervision model; Nash equilibriu

Based on the literatures about induction and statistics MIS published in Mainland China and foreign journals from 2002 to 2010, this paper compares and analyzes the usual research topics, research methods and the authors in MIS research. It brings forward three aspects of differences between the domestic and foreign MIS research and gives three suggestions to advance domestic research, and hope the conclusion can be helpful for our future researchers

Development and Validation a comprehensive instrument to measure customer perceived service quality of mobile data services

    Get PDF
Following the rapid growth of mobile data services in China, the competition between mobile data service providers becomes more intensively. To gain advantage in the fierce competition, it’s very critical to service providers managing their service quality effectively, thus a comprehensive measurement instrument of service quality is needed. However, there are few studies dedicated to mobile data services in this area. Our study proposes a conceptualization framework derived from Technical Acceptance Model. Based on the framework, we develop and validate an instrument to measure perceived service quality of mobile data services in rigorous process. Finally we have gotten a service quality instrument with six-dimensions: content quality, usability, reliability and speed, interaction, entertainment/ enjoyment, security/privacy. This scale provides a useful instrument for researchers who wish to measure the service quality of mobile data services and for marketing managers who want to improve their service performance

Occurrence of leu(+) revertants under starvation cultures in Escherichia coli is growth-dependent

BACKGROUND: Many investigations have reported that advantageous mutations occurred more frequently under selective conditions than those under non-selective conditions. This phenomenon is referred to as adaptive mutation. Their characteristics are that adaptive mutations are directed and growth-independent. The idea of directed adaptive mutation had been objected by some reports, however, the idea of growth-independent adaptive mutation has been held till today. RESULTS: In this paper, we have observed that under leucine starvation conditions, leu(+) revertants accumulated as a function of time; leu(-) to leu(+) reverse mutation rates and frequencies were higher than those under non starvation conditions; and no divided cells could be monitored by the penicillin method. These results were similar to the time-dependent manner of adaptive mutation from previous reports. However, leucine concentration determinate experiments revealed that certain traces of leucine, which leaked from the E. coli cells, was almost always present in the culture. More numbers of leu(+) revertants appeared when the similar cultures were dropped in small areas on the selective plates than when spread on the whole selective plates. These results have shown that mutations under leucine starving conditions are growth-dependent. Fluctuation analysis of leu(+) revertants indicated that leu(-)leu(+) mutation occurred spontaneously and randomly. In addition, the spectra of leuB gene in the revertants proved that mutations under selective conditions were not specific or directed. CONCLUSIONS: The above investigations led to the conclusion (1) that the occurrence of leu(+) mutations under starvation conditions was growth-dependent. The occurence mutations was also similar to that under non-starvation conditions (2). Under starvation conditions the mutation rates were higher, and was not constant during the long process

Students’ Ability Evaluation Structure Model of Local Finance and Economic Universities

    Get PDF
The students’ ability evaluation of local finance and economic universities is conducive to the cultivation of talents, and to promote local economic development. In order to objectively evaluate the students’ ability of local finance and economic universities, this paper divides the ability of college students into three dimensions, including basic quality and ability, professional competence, the ability of innovation and practice. This paper builds the students’ ability evaluation indicator system of local finance and economic universities, and designs evaluation indicator system scale tables. Collecting data from high school students, teachers and the employers through paper questionnaires and web-based survey, this paper uses principal component analysis to extract ability factors, and establishes the students’ ability evaluation structure model of local finance and economic universities. This study provides a theoretical reference for the objective evaluation of students’ ability and training students’ ability purposefully

Measurement Equivalence of Web Surveys Based on Social Media

    Get PDF
Web surveys have become a very important way of empirical research. The rise of social media provides a new platform for web surveys. Investigators can collect data based on different social media platforms to get more respondents of higher external validity at a lower cost. However, there is no domestic expert and scholar to conduct related researches on web surveys based on social media. This paper studies the measurement equivalence of surveys among BBS, micro blog and SNS using CFA. The result shows that three surveys have the same basic structure, factor loading matrix and factor covariance matrix; moreover, the intercepts are equivalent across micro blog and SNS

Political reunification with Taiwan : perspectives from the leadership, intellectuals and the general public in Mainland China

This thesis studies Mainland China’s standpoint of political reunification with Taiwan in the contemporary era (2008-2014). The exploration examines the perspectives of leadership, intellectuals and the general public under the analytical framework of state nationalism and popular nationalism. In general, the standpoints that “Taiwan as an integral part of China” and a “political reunification with Taiwan should be realized” are still the mainstream views in Mainland China. However, detailed reunification views vary among the different perspectives. In terms of the state nationalism composed by leadership and establishment intellectuals, the settlement of the Taiwan issue and the realization of the complete reunification of China represent the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation and the People’s Republic of China (PRC). State nationalism regards a political reunification by “One Country, Two Systems” under the sovereignty of the PRC through peaceful negotiation as the best proposal. Meanwhile, it also reserves the possibility of executing military resolution to prevent the independence of Taiwan as the bottom line. However, considering the contemporary political reality across the Strait, state nationalism is also willing to make pragmatic explorations such as authorizing more autonomy to Taiwan and even initiating political reforms in Mainland to facilitate reunification in the special political circumstances that the country has not yet been reunified. As for the popular nationalism made up by the general public and public intellectuals, majority opinions are in favor of a political reunification though there is a clear division between the conservatives and the liberals. The most prominent views among the conservatives are that they believe Mainland should be dominant in the reunification process and mainland government is justified to use military force under any circumstance. In contrast, the most popular views among the liberals are that they believe the prospect of reunification cannot be realized without the political reforms in Mainland China. It should be noted that mainlanders no longer think as a monolithic bloc with the government as they used to do. While state nationalism mainly present as relatively conservative, popular nationalism shows a polarization. Popular nationalism is either more conservative or more liberal. Among the general public, some make objections to reunify with Taiwan and some openly show preference to the independence of Taiwan
