Surface Structure and Catalytic COCO Oxidation Oscillations

A cellular automaton model is used to describe the dynamics of the catalytic oxidation of $CO$ on a $Pt(100)$ surface. The cellular automaton rules account for the structural phase transformations of the $Pt$ substrate, the reaction kinetics of the adsorbed phase and diffusion of adsorbed species. The model is used to explore the spatial structure that underlies the global oscillations observed in some parameter regimes. The spatiotemporal dynamics varies significantly within the oscillatory regime and depends on the harmonic or relaxational character of the global oscillations. Diffusion of adsorbed $CO$ plays an important role in the synchronization of the patterns on the substrate and this effect is also studied.Comment: Latex file with six postscript figures. Monitoring of Fracture Water at the Construction Site of an Underground Research Laboratory in the Krasnoyarsk Krai

В статье обоснована необходимость проведения глубинного мониторинга подземных вод на участке строительства подземной исследовательской лаборатории (ПИЛ) как подземного горного сооружения, не связанного с добычей полезных ископаемых. Рассмотрены системы скважинных исследований на аналогичных объектах, а также описана схема построения установки для скважинных нагнетаний и мониторинга собственной разработки. При минимальном переоснащении она позволяет выполнять опытно- фильтрационные работы методом нагнетаний для поиска водопроводящих трещин в массиве или проводить длительные откачки с малыми расходами мембранными насосами для отбора проб подземных вод. Реализация данных схем позволила изучить глубокую скважину на Енисейском участке и выделить в ней проницаемые трещинные коллекторы. При этом оценка изученных зон позволила отнести породы к слабопроницаемым и водонепроницаемымThe article substantiates the need for deep monitoring of groundwater at the construction site of an underground research laboratory (URL), as an underground facility not related to mining. The systems of borehole investigations on similar sites are considered, and also the scheme of construction of the installation for borehole injection and monitoring of its development is described. With minimal re-equipment, it allows to carry out experimental filtration work using the injection method to search for water- conducting fracture in the massif or carry out long- term pumping with low flow rates by membrane pumps for groundwater sampling. Implementation of these schemes has made it possible to study a deep borehole in the Yeniseiskiy site and identify permeable fractured reservoirs in it.
