Modular and Formal Design Approach of Industrial Automation Using Coloured Petri Net

This paper presents the use of Coloured Petri Net (CPN) for modeling and analysis on Automation system. Flexibility and re-configurability are prominent requirements for the current and future automation system. For complex systems, a dominant characteristic is modularity of functional modules. Therefore, a modular approach in building a CPN model is proposed in this paper including its analysis. This aaproach is useful to avoid the construction of a single state space of the entire system and get a simplified model. As an illustration, modeling and state space analysis of the given example by means of CPN is given. Keywords Coloured Petri Net, Modularity, Automation, Scheduling, Verification

Teknologi Sistem Peringatan Dini Berbasis Programmable Logic Controller dalam Upaya Mengantisipasi Bencana Banjir di Kecamatan Mempawah Hilir Kabupaten Pontianak

This research is indicate that the ability of early warning system technology in giving information early related to floods quickly and nowadays especially in watching condition of rainfall and ebb intensively. Therefore require to be designed by appliance which can give the early information to society in region of gristle of floods disaster to conduct actions which require to be drawn up by before the happening of disaster. Location of floods gristle selected by countryside of sand the mempawah subdistrict go downstream the forewarning system designed use the programmable logic controller (PLC) and system can give result of information in the form of forewarning indicator which is depend on storey, water height level, that is normal level, attentive level, alert level and caution level. Water height level can be watched from face door irrigate as one of appliance to support the system of forewarning floods disaster. Design result to develop, build this appliance is very be of benefit to society in doing early anticipation possible the happening of floods disaster, so that loss generated by effect of floods disaster felt by society during the time earn the minimum. The existence of forewarning appliance is threatened society of danger can act during which is last for lessening possibility of the happening of hurt victim, loss of soul, and destroy the good and chattel. Development of Bio-control Technology for Subterranean Termites Coptotermes Curvignathus Holmgren Using Electromagnetic Waves

This paper proposes a non-destructive technology to control subterranean termites Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgren infestations. In the experiment, the apparatus for termites control used electromagnetic waves at two frequencies: 300 Hz and 300 kHz. Termites were exposure to electromagnetic waves on direct methods with variation of exposure time 15, 30, 45 and 60 min respectively. The use of electromagnetic waves for termites control are very beneficial, they are odorless, noiseless, friendly to environment, and easy to apply. The result showed that electromagnetic waves had an effect to termites. The value of termites mortality was range between 25.45~82.27% and the average value of termites filter paper consumption was between 8.89~39.44%. Meanwhile on control treatment, termites mortality and termites filter paper consumption were respectively 14.05% and 79.88% in average. The highest frequency of electromagnetic waves and the longest irradiation time caused the highest average value of termites mortality. The magnitude field from apparatus was range between 0.069~0.1815 μT, which is safe to utilize around the human body. The best result was achieved on frequency 300 kHz and irradiation time 60 min. These results represent important information about the potential use of electromagnetic waves technology for termites control as an environmentally benign alternative in spite of the insecticides uses
