Experimental Performance Analysis of Diesel Engine without Ceramic Coating on Cylinder Liner

    Get PDF
Automobile industries faces big problem related to fuel economy, engine efficiency and emission which is harmful to the environment as well as human. In diesel engine one–third fuel energy is converted into the useful work otherwise diesel engine rejects about two third of heat energy of fuel i.e. one third to exhaust and one third to coolant. Due to rise of fuel cost major challenges for automobile industry is to decrease the fuel consumption, exhaust emissions without compromising efficiency. The performance of internal combustion engine can be improve by reducing frictional losses as well as reduction in specific fuel consumption of fuel during the engine operation. Exhaust emission can be reduced by complete combustion of fuel which is obtained by complete combustion of fuel due to high combustion temperature inside the combustion chamber. These things can be obtain by ceramic materials which have low thermal conductivity, less weight, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and shock resistance etc. the objective is to improve the performance of four stroke single cylinder diesel engine by providing ceramic coating on cylinder liner to know the effect of coating on the performance of diesel engine

Simple and Efficient Group Key Distribution Protocol using Matrices

    Get PDF
Group Key Distribution (GKD) protocols are designed to distribute a group key to several users for establishing a secure communication over a public network. The central trusted authority, called the key distribution center (KDC) is in charge of distributing the group keys. For securing the communication, all the users share a common secret key in advance with KDC. In this paper, we propose a secure and efficient Group Authenticated Key Distribution (GAKD) protocol based on the simple idea of encryption in matrix rings. In this protocol, each user registers in private with the KDC, while all the other information can be transferred publicly. The scheme also supports authentication of group keys without assuming computational hard problems such as Integer Factorization Problem (IFP).The analysis of our GAKD protocol shows that the proposed protocol is resistant to reply, passive and impersonation attacks. Our construction leads to a secure, cost and computation- effective GAKD protocol

Long-term treatment and poor management of psychiatric manifestations in mesial temporal sclerosis leading to suicidality in a young male

AbstractPsychiatric disorders including anxiety, psychosis, and aggressive behaviors are frequently diagnosed in patients with epilepsy. In this communication, we report a patients with mesial temporal lobe sclerosis with interictal affective-somatoform (dysphoric) disorders who was never treated for psychiatric manifestations, and who deliberately took a massive dose of phenytoin and phenobarbitone with a motive of suicide, resulting in severe combined toxicity. Such unfortunate incidences may be prevented, and quality of life can be improved with early diagnosis, through the selection of the right antiepileptic drugs, reasonable psychiatric consultation, and appropriate biological and psychological treatments

Cefuroxime axetil induced glossitis: a case report

    Get PDF
Cefuroxime axetil is a semi synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic, which is prescribed for different types of infections such as lung, ear, throat, urinary tract, and skin. This is the drug of choice in the treatment and prevention of streptococcal infections. In this case, the patient was prescribed cefuroxime axetil, diclofenac, and paracetamol for pharyngitis. The patient developed glossitis 3 hrs after ingestion of above drugs which improved after withdrawing the offending drug. Glossitis is an uncommon, but serious adverse drug effect of cefuroxime axetil. It is important to recognize and manage it to prevent fatality. The case has been reported to the Pharmacovigilance Center Uttar Pradesh Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Saifai, Etawah

Optoelectrical anisotropy in graphene oxide supported polythiophene thin films fabricated by floating film transfer

    Get PDF
A facile method for the fabrication of highly oriented hybrid thin films of conjugated polymer (CP) with graphene oxide (GO) as 2D nano-filler over the high surface tension liquid substrate by floating film transfer is being reported. Formation of the self-assembled oriented hybrid thin film has been validated using multiple characterization techniques. Hybrid thin films thus prepared have been used for the fabrication of organic field effect transistors (OFETs) followed by investigation of anisotropic charge carrier transport. OFETs made with hybrid films oriented in channel direction exhibited the superior device performance with >6 fold augmentation in field effect mobility (μ) and one order improvement in on/off ratio as compared to that of devices based on pristine CP. However, pristine polymer shows 2.2 fold enhancement in mobility and one order augmentation in on/off ratio in parallel orientation as compared to the corresponding perpendicularly oriented films. Thus, our study has elucidated a path to obtain oriented, aligned, and self - assembled hybrid films for further improvement in the device performance aiming towards the applications in organic electronics
