Das praças gregas à ágora virtual: um panorama histórico da democracia digital

A Democracia Digital é o resultado do uso das novas Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação pelos setores democráticos em prol de uma participação cidadã mais ativa e direta nas decisões públicas. Porém, seu surgimento está relacionado à construção histórica do conceito de democracia e para, que seja possível compreende-la, faz necessário situa-la sócio-historicamente. Estudo espectroscópico de gases nobres medianamente ionizados

Orientador: Antonio Gomes TrigueirosTese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Fisica Gleb WataghinResumo: O tema central desta tese é a espectroscopia atômica de emissão, realizada com o objetivo, em primeira instância, de classificar linhas e níveis energéticos desconhecidos de átomos mediana e altamente ionizados. Neste sentido as análises espectrais do Kr V, Kr VI, Xe IV e Ar V são apresentadas e uma quantidade de linhas e níveis são dados ao conhecimento pela primeira vez. Nesta tese descrevemos também a construção do q-pinch TP-III, construído pelo autor desta tese especialmente para servir de fonte de luz espectral. O TP-III, junto com o espectrógrafo do Ultravioleta-Vácuo também descrito aqui, formam o primeiro experimento de espectroscopia atômica de emissão de nosso país. No apêndice da tese cerca de 850 linhas são classificadas a partir do espectro obtido. Descrevemos o tubo de descarga capilar, instalado no Centro de Investigaciones Opticas - CIOp (La Plata) o qual também foi usado pelo autor para obtenção dos espectros. A tese contém uma introdução teórica onde mostra os principais conceitos de estrutura e transições atômicas (capítulo 2) e de análise espectral (capítulo 4)Abstract: The main purpose of this Thesis is the study of the atomic emission spectroscopy, which was performed in order to classify the lines and assign the unknown energy levels of an atom in intermediate and high ionized stage. According this purpose we present the spectral analysis of Kr V, Kr VI, Xe IV and Ar V, whose results showed a number of new lines and energy levels previously unknown. In this Thesis is also presented a theta-pinch (TP-III) that was built by the author with the specific purpose to be used as a spectroscopic light source in the VUV region. The TP-III and the VUV normal incidence spectrograph constitute the first experimental set up running in Brazil for atomic emission spectroscopy. In the appendix we present about 850 lines that was classified from the obtained spectrum. We also describe the capillar discharge tube of Centro de Investigaciones Opticas (La Plata) that also was used by the author, to getting the presented spectra. Extended Analysis of Xe VII and Xe VIII

A pulsed discharge light source to study the six and seven times ionized xenon spectra in the 419–4642 Å region was used. A set of 40 transitions of Xe VII and 25 transitions of Xe VIII were classified for the first time. We revised the values for the previously known energy levels and extended the analysis for Xe VII to 10 new energy levels belonging to 5s6d, 5s7s and 5s7p, 4d95s25p even and odd configurations, respectively. Seven new energy levels of the core excited configuration 4d95s5d of Xe VIII are presented. For the prediction of the atomic parameters, energy levels, and transition, relativistic Hartree–Fock calculations were used.The accepted manuscript in pdf format is listed with the files at the bottom of this page.
