2005 Ă©s 2010 között a hazai fontosabb inváziĂłs "özöngyomok" (Asclepias syriaca, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Abutilon theophrasti, Solidago gigantea, Cyperus esculentus, Phytolacca americana) termĂ©szetes vĂrusfertĹ‘zöttsĂ©gĂ©t mĂ©rtĂĽk fel, továbbá több Ăşj mestersĂ©ges gazda-vĂrus kapcsolat feltárására is sor kerĂĽlt. LaboratĂłriumi Ă©s ĂĽvegházi csĂrázásbiolĂłgiai vizsgálatokban meghatároztuk a fajok magjainak csĂrázĂłkĂ©pessĂ©gĂ©t, valamint a csĂrázást befolyásolĂł autökolĂłgiai tĂ©nyezĹ‘ket, Ă©s nyomon követĂĽk a magvak Ă©letkĂ©pessĂ©gĂ©nek változását. KompetĂciĂłs kĂsĂ©rletekben meghatároztuk a kukorica kritikus kompetĂciĂłs periĂłdusát, valamint a helyettesĂtĂ©si Ă©s az additĂv mĂłdszerek alkalmazásával összehasonlĂtottuk a gyomfajok versenykĂ©pessĂ©gĂ©t. A növekedĂ©sanalĂzis segĂtsĂ©gĂ©vel, továbbá a biomassza- Ă©s magprodukciĂłs vizsgálatokban meghatároztuk a fajok tĂ©nyleges biolĂłgiai potenciálját. Ăśvegházi tenyĂ©szedĂ©nyes allelopátiás kĂsĂ©rletekben a fajok közötti kĂ©miai kölcsönhatásokat tanulmányoztuk, ahol a tesztfajok donor Ă©s recipiens szerepet is betöltöttek. Az aktuális Ă©s a szubletális vĂztelĂtettsĂ©gi deficit meghatározásával a fajok vĂzháztartási sajátosságait jellemeztĂĽk. | Between 2005 and 2010 years the natural and artificial virus infection of the most important invasive alien weed species (Asclepias syriaca, Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Abutilon theophrasti, Solidago gigantea, Cyperus esculentus, Phytolacca americana) was studied in Hungary. A lot of new host-virus relations were determined. The change in the germination percent, seed viability and autecological factors influencing germination characteristics were also investigated. Critical competition period of maize was determined and the competitive ability of the weed species was compared based on the results on additive and replacement glasshouse and field studies. Effective biological potential of the invasive alien plant species was also determined with the help of growth analysis and in biomass and seed production experiments. Under glasshouse conditions the donor and recipient role of the weeds was also studied in allelopathic research. Water relations of the species were characterized with the actual and sublethal water saturation deficits

A kutatás során Magyarország jelentĹ‘s dĂsznövĂ©nytermesztĹ‘ körzeteibĹ‘l (HajdĂşság, DĂ©l-Alföld, Budapest Ă©s környĂ©ke, Nyugat- Ă©s DĂ©l-DunántĂşl) több mint 200 kĂĽlönbözĹ‘ dĂsznövĂ©nyekrĹ‘l származĂł minta esetĂ©ben DAS-ELISA Ă©s TAS ELISA mĂłdszerek valamint biotesztek segitsĂ©gĂ©vel megállapitottuk azok CymRSV, TMV, INSV, CVB, CSNV, AMV, PMMV, TSWV, TCSV, ToMV, PeAMV Ă©s CMV fertĹ‘zöttsĂ©gĂ©t. Vizsgálataink során Ăşj gazda-vĂrus kapcsolatokat tárunk fel Ă©s ezeket a kapcsolatokat tĂĽnettani szempontbĂłl jellemeztĂĽk. Magyarországon elĹ‘ször igazoltunk INSV fertĹ‘zöttsĂ©get a vizsgált Cyclamen, Impatiens, Ocimum Ă©s Eustoma növĂ©nyekben. Magyarország kĂĽlönbözĹ‘ terĂĽleteirĹ‘l, petĂşniárĂłl Petunia x hybrida "Bravo Rose"(KX) Ă©s a vegetatĂv Ăşton szaporĂtott "Surfinia Revolution Purple"(NYB) származĂł PVY izolátumokat vizsgáltunk szimptomatĂłlĂłgiai, szerolĂłgiai, elektronmikroszkĂłpos Ă©s molekuláris genetikai mĂłdszerekkel. A köpenyfehĂ©rje gĂ©n (CP) 380 bp szakaszát határoztuk meg Ă©s hasonlĂtottuk össze az adatbankban szereplĹ‘ adatokkal. A "Surfinia Revolution Purple" fajtárĂłl származĂł izolátum 98%-os hasonlĂłságot mutatott a PVYH: PVYNTN (m95491) izolátummal Ă©s a ?Bravo Rose? fajtárĂłl származĂł izolátum esetĂ©ben 97%-os hasonlĂłságot állapĂtottunk meg a PVYFR: PVYN (d00441) izolátummal. Vizsgálataink során elĹ‘ször igazoltuk a PVYNTN törzsĂ©nek elĹ‘fordulását magyarországi petĂşnián. | More than 200 samples were analysed from species or varieties from different ornamental plants. Samples were taken from Hungarian ornamental plant producing companies, public areas and also private gardens. Virus infection (Potato virus Y, PVY; Potato virus X, PVX; (CymRSV, TMV, INSV, CVB, CSNV, AMV, PMMV, TSWV, TCSV, ToMV, PeAMV and CMV) were screened trough DAS ELISA, TAS ELISA and biotests. During the study new virus-host relations were found, and characterised on the basis of symptoms INSV ifection was first described on ornamental plants Cyclamen, Impatiens, Ocimum and Eustoma. The nucleotide sequence of the coat protein gene of PVY isolate from the ?Surfinia Revolution Purple? (NYB) variety showed 98% homology with the homologous region of the m955491 isolate of PVYH (PVYNTN). Our results were the first data on the occurrence of NTN strain of PVY on Petunia in Hungary. P. hybrida ?Bravo Rose? (KX) isolate showed 97 % homology with a PVYFR : PVYN isolate, which was registered under the number d00441 in the database. In the case of P. hybrida species no information has been found about the occurrence of this pathogen either in international or in Hungarian literature
Néhány fontosabb évelő gyomnövény kártétele, szaporodási stratégiája és integrált gyomszabályozása = Importance, reproductive strategy and integrated weed management of several perennial weeds
FelmĂ©rtĂĽk a nád (Phragmites australis) szántĂłföldi elterjedĂ©sĂ©t az Országos GyomfelvĂ©telezĂ©sek alapján. A legnagyobb borĂtás Csongrád megyĂ©ben tapasztalhatĂł 1,44%., de jelentĹ‘s HajdĂş-Bihar 0,97%, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok 0,92% Ă©s Heves 0,69% fertĹ‘zöttsĂ©ge is. Vizsgáltuk a Cirsium arvense, Convolvulus arvensis, Ă©s Rubus fruticosus tápanyagfelvĂ©telĂ©t Ă©s szaporĂtĂłgyökereinek regenerálĂłdását. A vegetatĂv szaporĂtĂłkĂ©pletekkel törtĂ©nĹ‘ regenerálĂłdás jĂşlius, oktĂłber Ă©s november hĂłnapokban a leghatĂ©konyabb. A Rubus fruticosus esetĂ©ben sikerĂĽlt bebizonyĂtani a regenerálĂłdás funkcionális szerveiben a szezonalĂtást Ă©s a tavaszvĂ©gi-nyárelei rĂĽgynyugalom meglĂ©tĂ©t. Tanulmányoztuk az Asclepias syriaca Ă©s a Cirsium arvense növĂ©nyi maradványinak allelopátiáját nĂ©hány tesztnövĂ©ny csirázására Ă©s növekedĂ©sĂ©re. Az elbomlĂł növĂ©nyi maradványok 0-29%-os csĂrázáscsökkenĂ©st Ă©s 1-58%-os zöldtömeg csökkenĂ©st okoztak. Vizsgáltuk a Taraxacum officinale csĂrázásbiolĂłgiáját. MegállapĂtottuk, hogy a frissen Ă©rett kaszatok nem rendelkeznek primer magnyugalommal Ă©rĂ©st követĹ‘en, egĂ©sz Ă©vben-megfelelĹ‘ környezeti feltĂ©telek esetĂ©n- egyenletesen (43,24-82%) csĂráznak. A fĂ©ny serkenti a csĂrázást. Az Asclepias syriaca, Cirsium arvense, Convolvulus arvensis magvairĂłl Ă©s szaporĂtĂł gyökereirĹ‘l több mikroszkopikus gombafajt izoláltunk. A gombafajok egy rĂ©sze felhasználhatĂł lehet a vizsgált Ă©velĹ‘ gyomnövĂ©nyek elleni biolĂłgiai vĂ©dekezĂ©sre. | On the basis of the Four National Weed Surveys distribution of Phragmites australis was evaluated in Hungary. Csongrad is the most infected county (1.44% cover), but HajdĂş-Bihar (0.97%), Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok (0.92) and Heves (0.9%) counties are also among the infected areas. The dynamic of nutrient uptake and vegetative reproduction of Cirsium arvense, Convolvulus arvensis and Rubus fruticosus was also investigated. Vegetative reproduction is the most effective in July, October and November. Periodicity and late spring dormancy were observed in regeneration of R. fruticosus. The effect of Asclepias syriaca and Cirsium arvense plants residues on the germination and development of some test species was also studied. Plant residues caused a 0-29% and 1-58% reduction in germination rate and fresh weight of test plants, respectively. Regarding germination characteristics of Taraxacum officinale no primary dormancy of the freshly harvested seeds was observed. Achenes germinated well (between 43-82%) during the whole year, when environmental conditions are favourable. Light promoted germination. A lot of phytopathogen fungi was isolated from seeds and vegetative reproductive organs of Asclepias syriaca, Cirsium arvense and Convolvulus arvensis. A part of them as mycoherbicide can be useful in biological weed control
