    This paper describes the solution combustion synthesis (SCS) of cathode material for lithium-ion batteries Li[Ni1/3Co1/3Mn1/3]O2.The sample obtained at a 950◦C for 10 hshowed an average specific discharge capacity, of 142,8-144.1 mAh/g and could retained 100% of the capacity after 82 cycles at a charge-discharge rate of C/10
