OPTIMASI FORMULASI TABLET EKSTRAK SARANG SEMUT (Hydnophytum formicarum Jack) MENGGUNAKAN DESAIN FAKTORIAL
Hydnophytum formicarum Jack (sarang semut) is a medical plant used
traditionally for its cardiovascular, antiinflamatory and antiparasitic effects and
have been used for treatments of hepatitis, rheumatism and diarrhea. In order to
produce tablets which physical characteristics fill the standard, a research of
sarang semut extract tablet formulation has been carried out by using Avicel PH
102 as fillers-binder and Explotab material as disintegrant.
This research was aimed to find out the influence of Avicel PH 102 and
Explotab and their interaction to the hardness and disintegration time of sarang
semut extract tablet. For that purpose, a factorial design with Avicel PH 102 in
20%-90% and Explotab in 2%-8% was used. Tablets were made by a direct
compression method. Respons observed were the tablet hardness and
disintegration time.
Based on the data analyzed by Yates treatment and Anava test, the Avicel
PH 102 significantly increased tablet hardness and disintegration time, while the
Explotab reduced tablet hardness and disintegration time. Combination of Avicel
PH 102 and the Explotab did not showed interaction to the tablet hardness and
disintegration time
PENGARUH FAKTOR PEMBELAJARAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN TERHADAP PROSES BISNIS INTERNAL: STUDI PADA INSTALASI FARMASI RUMAH SAKIT DI DIY DAN JAWA TENGAH
Financial contribution of hospital pharmacy were 40 60% for hospital revenue,
so there are one of the other revenue centre in hospital. But the constraint of the public hospital are limited financial for drug, on the other way for private hospital. The others constraint are: pharmacists managerial ability, the limited of pharmacist, one gate pharmaceutical services and clinical pharmacy wasnt implementation full. This
condition might be change with performance analysis and the influence factors. Many
study showed that the result of organisation performance, towarded by intangible assets. The aim are to know the influence of learning and growth toward the internal business processes in Hospital Pharmacy.
The research was assosiative non eksperimental method. Questioners were the
instrument in this research, which the indicators of learning and growth and internal
business processes containt. The subject were the leader of hospital pharmacy
departement at DIY and centre of java. Sample size were 191, with inclusion criteria: they were leader of hospital pharmacy which done 2 years minimal. The questioner tested validity and reliability before distibute for responden. The data was analyzed Structural Equation Model (SEM), with LISREL (Linear Structural Relationship) 8.54 program.
The result showed that the human capital capability significant influential toward
organizational capital capability (t-value 11.47). The human capital capability significant
influential toward information capital readiness (t-value 1.97). The human capital
capability positive influential toward internal business processes of hospital pharmacy but not significant (t-value 0.18). The Organizational capital capability significant influential toward information capital readiness (t-value 5.86). Information capital readiness significant influential toward internal business processes of hospital pharmacy (t-value 2.72). Organizational capital capability influential toward internal business processes of hospital pharmacy, but not significant (t-value 0.03)
SEDIAAN MUKOADESIF MIKROPARTIKEL AMOKSISILIN DENGAN MATRIK KITOSAN TERTIOLASI YANG DIAKTIVASI EDAC HCL
The development of natural polymer as a drug matrix could enhance the
drug therapy effect. One of the prospective natural polymer which can be
developed as a drug matrix was chitosan. The modification method of chitosan
structure with thiolate reaction could improve the mucoadhesive properties. This
study was aimed to formulate and to evaluate the characteristics of mucoadhesive
form of amoxicillin trihydrate microparticles with matrix - chitosan thiolate.
Thiolated chitosan was prepared by reacting the chitosan as a carrier with
cysteine thiol groups by using 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylamino propyl) carbodiimide
(EDAC) catalyst and was formulated with amoxicillin trihydrate and sodium
tripolyphosphat (STPP) to form the microparticles. Amoxicillin trihydrate
microparticles were evaluated and characterized by using infrared
spectrophotometer and the drug release was tested by using a type II dissolution
test (paddle).
The results showed that the variation of the EDAC addition as a catalyst
will affect the formation of thiol groups, where the formula with 50 mM EDAC
has the highest number of thiol group (134.35 ± 3.56 μmol per 50 mg of chitosancysteine
thiolated) and has the most powerful mucoadhesive properties (8, 10 ±
0.17 hours). The adding of EDAC concentration can affect the characteristics,
properties of chitosan-cysteine thiolated such as the physical properties like
transparant gel, fibrous solid form, yellowish color, soluble in water and acid,
high viscosity, increasing in the swelling behaviour and mucoadhesive properties.
The amoxicillin trihydrate release profiles of polymer chitosan-cysteine thiolated
showed that the addition of EDAC concentrations in formula may prolong the
release of amoxicillin trihydrate
