The purpose of this study is define the cause of obstructions to adolescent health.Questionnaires were used: Life style with 16 topics and 58 questions and C M I (Cornell Medical Index) with 120 questions on individual physical and mental awareness. As our results were divided in to four groups, we found that in groups with low levels of wellness, relatively many complained of health problems. And among all the student we surveyed, they seems to have been the lacks in sleep and rest

In order to promote their rehabilitation, we surveyed on daily lives of the discharged mentally disordered people. 123 day care clients were interviewed. 80% of them schizophrenic patients in stage decrement. Most of them answered they get up at 6 or 9, and they go to bed at 20 or before 24. Half of them answered they can sleep well, others answered not. 76% of the individuals live with their family. During day time, most of them have nothing to do but going to day care center. 11% of the clients are engaged in their jobs. They pass after-dinner normally. Most of them feel anxiety as to their diseases particularly as to recrudescence and treatment. About relations to their family, they described “I’m a trouble maker in my family.” or “My parents told me to work.” They often described “No job for me.” or “I have nothing to live for.”We are to promote family-education about diseases. We need more communications. We have to begin to assist our clients for work tolerance and social skills before discharge. The success of rehabilitation depends especially upon the client’s relation to his or her family

Down-regulation of CD24 antigen expression on Hela cells treated with phorbol myristate acetate (PMA)

We found that CD24 antigen, a B cell differentiation antigen, was strongly expressed on the non-hematopoietic Hela cell line (cervical carcinoma cell line). The mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) of CD24 antigen expressed on Hela cells was markedly down-regulated by treatment with phorbol myristate acetate (PMA), which also induced morphological changes. In addition, CD24 antigen expression on Hela cells was completely down-regulated by treatment with phosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase C (PI-PLC), Down-regulation of CD24 antigen expressed on the Hela cells treated with PMA was sufficiently but not completely recovered by protein kinase C (PKC) inhibitors H-7 and H-8. These findings strongly indicate that regulation of CD24 antigen expressed on Hela cells is mainly mediated by PKC, and is present as a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) membrane anchor protein
