Ética e profética nas Mitológicas de Lévi-Strauss

Este artigo intenta extrair das Mitológicas de Claude Lévi-Strauss uma ética e uma filosofia política (em princípio, ameríndias). Busca-se aqui a um só tempo responder e estender a provocação de Pierre Clastres, para quem a análise estrutural não teria se ocupado de tamanhas questões. Para realizar esta discussão, o foco será dado em duas obras de Lévi-Strauss: As origens dos modos à mesa, o terceiro volume das Mitológicas, e História de lince, a última das "pequenas mitológicas". Se a primeira finda com um excurso sobre a "moral dos mitos", a segunda principia com uma reflexão sobre a capacidade da mitologia de fornecer leituras da história, por exemplo, o "encontro" com o mundo europeu. Essas leituras, de sua parte, devem estar na base do que a literatura etnológica recente reconheceu como movimentos proféticos.<br>This article focus Claude Lévi-Strauss' reflection on amerindian ethic and political thought. We suggest that we could read many passages of Mythologiques as if they contained sorts of replies as well as developments of some of Pierre Clastres' provocations and critics directed to structuralism. We will analyse particularly two books: Les origines des manières à table, Mythologiques' third volume, and Histoire de lynx, the last of the petites mythologiques. The first one ends with an interesting reflection on the "mythical moralism", while the second one starts with the problem of how amerindian mythologies can offer interpretations of history, interpretations of the "encounter" with europeans, for instance. These, we suppose, must be on the basis of what ethnological recent literature called "prophetic movements"

Literatura, indústria cultural e formação humana Literature, culture industry and human formation

Este trabalho aborda questões referentes à literatura e aos produtos da indústria cultural, especialmente aos chamados romances "cor-de-rosa", focalizando as potencialidades de diferentes discursos na formação da subjetividade. As protagonistas dos romances O Quinze e As Três Marias, de Rachel de Queiroz são utilizadas como referência. Nesta perspectiva, evidencia-se a impregnação das criações ficcionais, atuando, de forma subconsciente e inconsciente, nas camadas profundas da personalidade, que pode em alguns casos, ampliar o conhecimento e a experiência humanos, aguçar os meios de expressão, despertar o senso crítico, mas em outros, reforçar a alienação da realidade. Conclui que enquanto a literatura oferece a possibilidade de libertar, os produtos da indústria cultural, ou seja, a literatura de massas, constituem um convite à alienação, ao conformismo, uma vez que tendem a inculcar estereótipos e preconceitos.<br>This paper addresses aspects referring to literature and culture industry products, mainly the "rosy" novels, focusing the potential role of different discourses on the formation of subjectivity. The characters portrayed in the novels O Quinze and As Três Marias by Rachel de Queiroz serve as reference. From this point of view, it is plain to see how fiction creations impregnate, sub-consciously and unconsciously, the deep layers of the personality. This may, in some cases, enlarge human knowledge and experience, sharpen means of expression, arose critical sense, but, in other cases, it may reinforce alienation from reality. It concludes that while literature offers the possibility to set people free, the products of culture industry, i.e. mass literature, are an invitation to alienation, to conformity, as they tend to instill stereotypes and prejudices
