Homogeneous Focusing Field for Short Relativistic Electron Bunches in Plasma
Plasma wake lens in which all short relativistic electron bunches of sequence
are focused identically and uniformly is studied analytically and by numerical
simulation. For two types of lenses necessary parameters of focused sequence of
relativistic electron bunches are formulated. Verification of these parameters
is performed by numerical simulation
Control of Characteristics of Self-injected and Accelerated Electron Bunch in Plasma by Laser Pulse Shaping on Radius, Intensity and Shape
At the laser acceleration of self-injected electron bunch by plasma wakefield
it is important to form bunch with small energy spread and small size. It has
been shown that laser-pulse shaping on radius, intensity and shape controls
characteristics of the self-injected electron bunch and provides at certain
shaping small energy spread and small size of self-injected and accelerated
electron bunch.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures. arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with

EPIDEMICS OF SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROME (SARS) IN THE WORLD (REVIEW)
Study materials of a new disease epidemic, symbolically named as a severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), emerged in the late 2002 at south China are reviewed. The significance of the first patients as the major sources of the infection around which plural foci were formed is shown. Infections happened in hotels, hospitals, multistory dwelling houses and in places of mass crowds. Medical workers are attributed to a group of high infection risk. The role of high-speed transport means in the disease dissemination to short and long distances is established. This infection was imported to 32 countries on five continents, but the secondary epidemic complications occurred only in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam and Canada. Global SARS dissemination requires international collaboration and coordination of this infection surveillance system
Langmuir wave linear evolution in inhomogeneous nonstationary anisotropic plasma
Equations describing the linear evolution of a non-dissipative Langmuir wave
in inhomogeneous nonstationary anisotropic plasma without magnetic field are
derived in the geometrical optics approximation. A continuity equation is
obtained for the wave action density, and the conditions for the action
conservation are formulated. In homogeneous plasma, the wave field E
universally scales with the electron density N as E ~ N^{3/4}, whereas the
wavevector evolution varies depending on the wave geometry
Perfection of the mechanism of planning of innovative activities based on the system-transdisciplinary approach
The possibility of applying transdisciplinary system methodology in the process of developing plans for the innovative development of business entities has been considered. The use of a transdisciplinary systematic approach to innovation planning allows you to use new methodological planning tools, strengthen the systematic nature of planned activities, more clearly define their content and sequence.Various variants of the classification of scientific approaches according to the criterion of the degree of completeness of cognition of the surrounding world have been analysed, the basic transdisciplinary methodological approaches according to the content criteria and possibilities have been compared, such as: the theory of autopoiesis, the theory of chaos and complexity, the theory of fractals, the theory of turbulence and the theory of economic genetics. An important factor in the proposed methodology is the use of the evolutionary property of the development of organizational systems in combination with the possibility of revolutionary transformations at certain stages of development that determine the susceptibility of the organizational system to innovations. In the process of planning innovations, it is only possible to take into account these features of the development of organizational systems using a systemic transdisciplinary methodology. In the process of research, a transdisciplinary tool such as multiplex has been proposed for use, allowing us to determine the duration of the “internal” periods of development of the organizational system and, consequently, increase the validity of planned measures for the implementation of innovations. The use of this tool in the planning process has allowed us to find an approach to determining the duration of the periods of the various stages of the innovation process, which can in future provide an opportunity to effectively distribute the resources of an economic entity over time. At the same time, special attention in the process of planning investments in the innovation process has been paid to the practice of venture and business angel financing, the positive performance of which has been proved by the example of the United States
TRANSFORMER RATIO DEPENDENCE ON BUNCH LENGTH AT NON-LINEAR WAKEFIELD EXCITATION IN PLASMA BY ELECTRON BUNCH WITH GAUSSIAN CHARGE DISTRIBUTION
Using 2d3v code LCODE, the numerical simulation of nonlinear wakefield excitation in plasma by shaped relativistic electron bunch with charge distribution, which increases according to Gaussian charge distribution up to the maximum value, and then decreases sharply to zero, has been performed. Transformer ratio, as the ratio of the maximum accelerating field to the maximum decelerating field inside the bunch, and accelerating the wakefield have been investigated taking into account nonlinearity of the wakefield. The dependence of the transformer ratio and the maximum accelerating field on the length of the bunch was investigated with a constant charge of the bunch. It was taken into account that the length of the nonlinear wakefield increases with increasing length of the bunch. It is shown that the transformer ratio reaches its maximum value for a certain length of the bunch. The maximum value of the transformer ratio reaches six as due to the profiling of the bunch, and due to the non-linearity of the wakefield
Rho-meson form factors and QCD sum rules
We present predictions for rho-meson form factors obtained from the analysis
of QCD sum rules in next-to-leading order of perturbation theory. The radiative
corrections turn out to be sizeable and should be taken into account in
rigorous theoretical analysis.Comment: LaTeX file, 14 pages, 7 figure
Two-particle decays of B_c meson into charmonium states
The factorization of hard and soft contributions into the hadronic decays of
B_c meson at large recoils is explored in order to evaluate the decay rates
into the S, P and D-wave charmonia associated with rho and pi. The constraints
of approach applicability and uncertainties of numerical estimates are
discussed. The mode with the J/psi in the final state is evaluated taking into
account the cascade radiative electromagnetic decays of excited P-wave states,
that enlarges the branching ratio by 20-25%.Comment: 13 pages, LaTeX axodraw-style, 1 figure, 2 table
SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROME (SARS) – A NEW INFECTIOUS DISEASE AND MAIN PROBLEMS OF ITS PROPHYLAXIS IN ASIAN PART OF RUSSIA
Publications, directive and instructionalmethodical papers of WHO, Government and Ministry of Public Health of Russian Federation prepared due to SARS epidemics are reviewed. A brief characteristics of the new disease is represented, the history of the virus discovery, the disease dynamics and SARS dissemination in the world in 2003 are described. Information about SARS suspected cases in Russia and main data on laboratory and clinical epidemiological diagnostics are represented. Measures undertaken for the new disease control are considered in the concluding part of the review. Peculiarities of Siberia and Far East (the region closely connected with the most SARS affected Asian countries) are marked
