    El Proyecto de Innovación presente tuvo como objetivo fundamental continuar con la experiencia de la I Jornada Interuniversitaria online de Práctica Logopédica adecuándola al sentido de un proyecto de innovación docente propiamente. Para ello, no se trataba únicamente de ofrecer conferencias a estudiantes con necesidades de formación práctica, sino dotar de una estructura y sentido formativo a los documentos audiovisuales. El objetivo general fue entonces el dotar de estructura tanto a nivel teórico como a nivel aplicado a un banco de vídeos destinados a la formación práctica de estudiantes del Grado de Logopedia

    Una veintena de autores participa en esta publicación en la que la comunicación y la política ciudadana son protagonistas. Las reflexiones teóricas provenientes de claustros docentes, grupos de investigación y prácticas en el aula, están divididas en tres grandes bloques: Aproximaciones a las relaciones entre comunicación y ciudad, La ciudad en narrativa meme y Resignificación, de la teoría a la práctica. Las ponencias, presentadas en las Jornadas de Comunicación y reunidas en estas páginas, tocan temas clave sobre ciudad, globalización y tecnología; reafirman la identidad del comunicador y estimulan su creatividad para potenciar herramientas orientadas a una comunicación transformadora desde la construcción colectiva

    Descriptive discourse in fluent aphasia: The predictive role of attention, phonology, lexical retrieval and semantics

    Aims: To study the relationship between cognitive and linguistic skills (as measured through standardized tasks) over spontaneous speech elicited during a picture description task. Methods & procedures: 21 controls and 19 people with fluent aphasia matched by age and sex were evaluated using transcripts made from a picture description task coded using the CHAT format and analyzed using Computerized Language Analysis (CLAN). Indices obtained from the speech samples contained measures of lexical quantity and diversity, morphosyntactic complexity, informativeness, and speech fluency, along with different kinds of speech errors. We studied their correlations with attentional measures from Conners’ Continuous Performance Test and with standardized measures of naming, pseudoword repetition and semantic non-verbal association. We further used stepwise linear regression to analyze the predictive value of standardized linguistic and cognitive skills over discursive indices. Outcomes & results: Contrary to our initial hypothesis, there were no significant correlations between attentional scores and discourse variables in aphasic participants. Moreover, semantic association, along with naming, was the measure more related with discourse performance in people with fluent aphasia, but cognitive and linguistic standardized measures had overall little predictive power on most discourse indices. In the control group, there was a certain association of naming skills and attentional reaction time with discourse variables, but their predictive power was also low. Conclusions & implications: The current results do not support a strong relationship between basic attentional skills and performance in descriptive discourse in fluent aphasia. Although some of the standardized tasks seem to bear some relationship with spontaneous speech, there is a high amount of interindividual variability in discourse that is not captured by classical cognitive tasks routinely used in assessment.     Cepstral analysis in patients with a vocal fold motility impairment: advantages of the cepstrum over time-based acoustic analysis.

    Objectives To determine the usefulness of the smoothed cepstral peak prominence (CPPS) in sustained vowel as objective measure of dysphonia. Study design This is a retrospective cohort study. 49 patients presenting a vocal cord motility impairment between 2012 and 2018 were included. Methods Classical acoustic parameters, including jitter, shimmer and NHR, as well as the CPPS were obtained for each patient with a vocal cord motility impairment confirmed by means of a fiberoptic laryngoscopy. We calculated the S/E ratio of each patient to establish the glottal efficiency. An independent sample t test and a Pearson correlation test were used to compare data. Results Patients presenting a vocal cord motility impairment present abnormal values of the CPPS. Those patients presenting a vocal cord paralysis present lower values of those presenting a vocal cord paresis, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.005). CPPS and the S/E ratio present a moderate negative correlation (− 0.29). Conclusions Subjects with a vocal cord motility impairment present abnormal values for CPPS and those values are lower, the greater the motility impairment is. Therefore, CPPS presents as an objective, measurable and reproducible acoustic parameter of dysphonia that will improve the evaluation of patients presenting vocal pathologies.pre-prin
