Nowadays growth of synthetic crystals is a very prospective direction of research activity. However, it is well known that in synthesized crystals there are still many defects and the main idea is to synthesize crystal of ideal form and structure. But in purpose to remove defects first you have to characterize them. This paper describes the method for the characterization of such defects and mainly concentrates on the problem of sample alignment procedure, offering the way to avoid misalignments

Information anomie and “pixilated consciousness” effect

Fighting units - information bits manipulate mass audience in information society for being in its consciousness. Garbled information, obtained as a result of anomie communication, activates mechanisms of human response and becomes a trigger for making actions. We define the phenomenon of information anomie and describe aberration (misrepresentation) of information that becomes an integral feature of political communication in modern information society. This definition has never been used before by scientists. Norms of information exchange in technical communication is the absence of information aberration that Shannon (1948) called as fight against information entropy. We propose a thesis that aberration at all stages of the communication process makes qualitative changes of information, consequently, changes in behavior and information recipient’s actions that lead to irreversible consequences. That is why, struggle with semantic information aberration is important and becomes the most central task for political communication in contemporary society. We claim that consequences of information anomie are irreversible. We denote such communication as anomic political communication. A person lives in a constant shock caused by various crises and information overloading - “information tsunami”. As a result of anomie communication, a “pixilated consciousness” effect occurs. The recipient of information is being in the state of uncertainty. Individuals cannot rationally estimate current events and make a sensible political choice. Information anomie creates the bound of possible and probable changes in the system of social interactions. The put-forward theses mark contours of a concept of information anomie and allow to designate its key attributes

A theoretical approach for the reduction of X-ray radiation dose within the optimization of the tomographic scanning process

X-ray tomography is one of the widespread methods of medical diagnostics. Modern medical tomographic setups have many advantages among them high resolution, high level of reproducibility, the simplicity of utilization, and many others. However, one of the most significant challenges of this method is a reducing of the radiation dose. We propose here an alternative scanning approach and an optimized filtered backprojection algorithm as a tool for the dose reduction by lower illumination area during the scan. Further, we demonstrate the power of this approach for dental application, where tomographic visualization is used as the main diagnostics instrument, employing a 3D model of a skull with teeth. From the results of our reconstruction, different defects in the teeth are successfully detected with an acceptable resolution. We hope that the proposed approach will be used as a fundamental idea to low the radiation dose in medical computer topology

State And Business Partnership As An Adaptation Instrument

The following article looks how the climate changes influence on dangerous industries. Global warming provokes natural disasters - hurricanes, tsunami, earthquakes - that have negative influence on ultra dangerous industries. In the article particularly there is an example of Japanese "Fukushima - 1" atomic power plant accident which was caused by the earthquake and tsunami. In economics theory there are two points how to reduce ecological risks. The first one is based on state restrictive measures - financial instruments. The second point is based on business adaptation to constantly changing climate conditions of management. The article suggests economical strategy, which allows to combine resources of state, business, scientific institutes and non-profit organizations to reduce the risk of technogeneous disasters. Attention is given to the fact that in actively developing Russian economy with the growth of society needs the lack of possibilities of state financing is perceived, at the same time there are large investment projects which can't be realized only by means of market mechanisms because of their scale and social importance. It is connected with the sphere of national safety, fuel - energy industry, transport infrastructure and community facilities. In this regard, the article discusses the French experience to realize large scale projects in the sphere of power industry

Non-destructive X-Ray testing of complex mechanisms and devices

X-ray tomography becomes a wide-spread non-destructive testing method. Flexibility of the reconstruction algorithms makes possible to apply 3D tomographic analysis to complex mechanisms and systems and detect defects of different types. For instance, this opportunity allows to solve geometrical problem, when the size of the investigating sample exceeding dimensions of the setup. This paper proposes to use non-standard geometry of tomographic scanning and backprojection algorithm optimized for this case to solve previously mentioned problem. Producing and assembling of complex space systems and mechanics requires the testing procedure at each step of the technological process: for separate parts of mechanism as well as for assembled system or device. Presented approach prospectively fits for this task
