    The electronic medical equipment developing process includes the problems and tasks of medical devices’ technical characteristics improvement, using alternative physical methods of recording medical information. Medical electronic equipment includes defibrillation equipment of various classes, the modernization of which is inextricably connected with scientific and technical research in the field of physics, circuit engineering, design, technology, modeling, characteristics’ measurement, as well as medicine. One of the interdisciplinary research areas at the cardiology and engineering issue is the development of new and modernisation of existing defibrillation devices, improving their functional and operational characteristics, as well as their application efficiency, which is necessary for the provision of extended resuscitation measures. This research is devoted to the research and modeling of defibrillator performance characteristics taking into account components reliability and the operational failure rate determination. The paper also contains study of the production process optimizing methods, in particular assembly operations of high-tech defibrillation products, where the search of optimization solutions was carried out using simulation modeling. Podoliak O. К радиоэлектронному оборудованию медицинского назначения относится деффибрилляционная техника различного класса, модернизация которой неразрывно связана с научными и техническими исследованиями в области физики, схемотехники, конструкции, технологии, моделирования, измерения характеристик, а также медицины. Одно из направлений междисциплинарных исследований на стыке кардиологии и инженерии состоит в разработке новых и совершенствовании существующих деффибрилляционных приборов, повышении их функциональных и эксплуатационных характеристик, а также их эффективности применения, что необходимо для оказания расширенных реанимационных мероприятий. Настоящая статья посвящена исследованию и моделированию эксплуатационных характеристик дефибриллятора с учетом надежности составных частей изделия и определения эксплуатационной интенсивности отказов.     Microscopic Calculation of Total Ordinary Muon Capture Rates for Medium - Weight and Heavy Nuclei

    Total Ordinary Muon Capture (OMC) rates are calculated on the basis of the Quasiparticle Random Phase Approximation for several spherical nuclei from 90^Zr to 208^Pb. It is shown that total OMC rates calculated with the free value of the axial-vector coupling constant g_A agree well with the experimental data for medium-size nuclei and exceed considerably the experimental rates for heavy nuclei. The sensitivity of theoretical OMC rates to the nuclear residual interactions is discussed.Comment: 27 pages and 3 figure

    The surgical treatment of massive submacular hemorrhages aggravating the course of exudative form of AMD with automated subretinal injection

    Purpose. The purpose of the study was to assess the results of the proposed method of surgical treatment of massive subretinal macular hemorrhage in the wet form of age-r elated macular degeneration.Material and methods. A comparative study of the results of treatment of massive subretinal hemorrhage associated with the exudative AMD-related. 17 patients (17 eyes) were being observed in the clinic with submacular hemorrhages of varying severity, which occurred against the background of exudative AMD-related. The average age of the subjects was 71.47±6.15 years. The maximum corrected visual acuity at the time of admission averaged 0,04±0.03. All patients were previously treated with anti-VEGF therapy, and number intravitreal injections was in the range from 3 to 14. The experience of the disease was 2,35±0,77 years, the prescription of hemorrhage – 5,47±3,55 days. The mean size of the subretinal hemorrhage was 21.41±3.37 DD. According to optical coherence tomography, the average value of retinal thickness in the macular region was 1081,29±389,67 microns. The day before surgery all patients underwent surgical treatment according to the author’s method (patent No. 2696056) – intravitreal injection Gemase® 3000 ME, 0,2 ml. The next day was performed vitrectomy 25G, local removal of the ILM and subretinal injection Gemase® 3000 ME – 0.3 ml and 0.2 ml of sterile air, fluid-air exchange 70% of the volume vitreal cavity, intravitreal injection Eylea® 0.05 ml, tamponade of vitreous cavity with 20% SF6. After the operation, the patient was placed «horizontally on the back» for 2 hours, then he had to be in an upright position to move the blood clot to the lower parts of the ocular floor .Results. Intraoperative complications were not observed in any of the cases. A complete dislocation of subretinal hemorrhage from under fovea zone was achieved in every patient’s postoperative period.Conclusion. The proposed surgical method provides rapid recovery of subject vision and can be used in the treatment of massive submacular hemorrhages of any etiology

    Studied are non-epidemic strains of V. cholerae O1 biovar El Tor taken from the National collection of pathogenic bacteria lodged at the Russian Research Anti-Plague Institute Microbe, which were not sensible to diagnostic cholera bacteriophage El Tor ctx- at the time of isolation. Represented are the results of investigation regarding a cause of a phage-resistance of these cultures using specialized test-system consisting of indicator strains. Identified is the carriage of temperate phages among 88,0 % of the cultures examined

    Effective management and possession of smoothly running design processes of production, deliveries, is an integral part of the modern enterprises. One of the main instruments of planning of production is simulation modeling. New tools for digital production support decision-making at design of production systems. Modeling of processes is faster way of finding of the correct solution in view of generation of exact forecasts, allowing to evaluate different alternatives. The research, the showing results received when using techniques of the simulation modeling and careful production created in program providing Tecnomatix Plant Simulation is presented in article. Visualization of all processes presented in article shows advantages and shortcomings of the offered optimization techniques, allowing to draw a conclusion on how many effective or not effective will be a developed system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

    Prospective Sorption Matrices for Antitoxic Cholera Enterosorbent Constructing

    Demonstrated is the possibility of constructing of oral anti-cholera preparations based on sorption matrices with immobilized specific ligand. Various enterosorbents (activated charcoal, polysorb, polyfepan, and chitosan) have been used as sorption matrices, cholera antitoxic immunoglobulins (ATIg) – as specific ligands. Toxin-neutralizing activity of the ATIg immobilized on polysorb has been observed in vivo in 1:64000 dilutions and that of ATIg immobilized on activated charcoal, polyfepan, and chitosan – in 1:32000. Their specific activity in vitro has been defined in dot-blot immunoassay in 1:10000 and 1:5000 dilutions, respectively. High toxin-neutralizing activity, as well as specific one has proved the suitability of all tested matrices for antitoxic cholera enterosorbents constructing. However, polysorb and chitosan are accepted to be the most prospective matrices in view of the studied characteristics and properties. To stabilize the properties of the obtained experimental prototype sorbents, AT/Ig-polysorb and AT/Ig-chitosan, applied has been the method of liophilisation with glycocol stabilizer.     Кинематическая модель вращающегося ложа открытой реанимационной системы

    Статья посвящена разработке кинематической модели вращающегося ложа открытой реанимационной системы, идея которой является результатом мониторинга эксплуатации высокотехнологичного оборудования производственного назначения – реанимационного стола для новорожденных. На основе классификации рисков, возникающих при использовании данного вида оборудования, а также исследования процесса использования его в практике медицинских учреждений, выделен ключевой актуальный риск – опирание медицинского персонала на реанимационный стол в процессе проведения манипуляций, который может привести к фатальным последствиям для пациента. Поставлена задача оценки надежности реанимационного стола с целью исключения риска, связанного с действиями персонала, которые являются объективными, и перенос фактора возникновения риска непосредственно на само медицинское оборудование. Для решения поставленной задачи разработана кинематическая модель вращающегося ложа, позволяющая точно определить проблемную зону конструкции, оценить используемый материал, скорректировать конфигурацию конструкции медицинского оборудования с учетом специфических условий его эксплуатации. В результате спроектирована кинематическая модель вращающегося ложа открытой реанимационной системы, которая является неотъемлемой частью цифровой модели оборудования
