Fatores determinantes para o rendimento esportivo : o caso do Clube Curitibano no subcampo da natação brasileira

Defesa : Curitiba, 15/02/2019Inclui referências: p.97-104Resumo: O presente estudo seguiu a proposta de análise teórico-metodológica de Pierre Bourdieu. Em um primeiro momento, buscou-se conhecer a estrutura políticoesportiva brasileira, considerando-se o campo das práticas esportivas como um locus social relativamente autônomo, posteriormente se delimitou um subcampo específico para análise, neste caso, a modalidade de natação, e, por fim, foi realizada uma análise da disposição deste subcampo, compreendendo-se o habitus dos agentes e os capitais envolvidos no espaço analisado. O objetivo central da pesquisa foi analisar como se estruturam os fatores determinantes para o desenvolvimento esportivo no Clube Curitibano no subcampo da natação brasileira. A seleção do clube analisado e dos respectivos entrevistados ocorreu de forma intencional pelos resultados apresentados nos últimos campeonatos brasileiros da modalidade. A partir da análise do ranking brasileiro da modalidade de natação no recorte de 2013-2017, foi possível observar que essa entidade foi a única do Estado do Paraná a estar entre as dez com maior número de resultados. Desse modo, é possível observar que a entidade em questão possui expressão significativa no subcampo analisado. Para isso, além da pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com seis agentes pertencentes a essa entidade, buscando-se compreender como são articulados os fatores determinantes sob a perspectiva interna dessa organização esportiva. A partir da literatura consultada, foi possível identificar alguns fatores determinantes para o desenvolvimento esportivo: a estrutura política acerca do campo esportivo, a importância da organização e estrutura de políticas públicas para o esporte, do suporte financeiro, a identificação de talentos por meio do acompanhamento do progresso de atletas, a importância de instalações esportivas bem desenvolvidas e específicas e uma relação estruturada entre o esporte de rendimento e de participação. Com as entrevistas analisadas, foi possível observar que, além dos fatores similares à literatura, outros fatores foram citados, como a importância da organização da entidade, o apoio familiar e os fatores diretamente ligados aos atletas. Ainda, foram identificados alguns aspectos determinantes para o desenvolvimento esportivo que vão além dos fatores expostos pela literatura e pelos agentes, principalmente aqueles relacionados com os mecanismos ocultos de dominação no subcampo da natação, contribuindo para que a entidade possua maior poder em relação às demais entidades, atuando, além de estruturante, como uma estrutura estruturada. Os habitus de alguns agentes pertencentes à entidade representam predisposições específicas para as ações necessárias por parte da instituição. Dessa forma, os agentes possuem a compreensão da dinâmica específica existente em seu subcampo e estabelecem relações com outros campos, contribuindo para que suas ações sejam assertivas em relação aos seus objetivos determinados. Firstly, it was sought to know the Brazilian political-sport structure, considering the field of sports practices as a relatively autonomous social locus, subsequently it was delimited a specific subfield for analysis, in this case, the swimming, and finally, an analysis of the disposition of this subfield was carried out, including the habitus of the agents and the capitals involved in the analyzed space. The main objective of the research was to analyze how the determinant factors are structured for the sports development at Clube Curitibano in the subfield of Brazilian swimming. The selection of the analyzed club and the respective agents interviewed occurred intentionally by the results presented in the last national championships of the modality. From the analysis of the Brazilian swimming ranking in the period 20132017, it was possible to observe that this entity was the only one in the State of Paraná among the ten with the highest number of results. In this way, it is possible to identify that the entity in question has a significant expression in the analyzed subfield. For this, besides the bibliographical and documentary research, semi-structured interviews were applied with six agents belonging to this entity, seeking to understand how the determining factors are articulated from the internal perspective of this sports organization. From the literature consulted, it was possible to identify some determinant factors for sports development: the political structure about the sport field, the importance of the organization and structure of public policies for sport, funding support, the identification of talents through the follow-up of the progress of athletes, the importance of well-developed and specific sport facilities and a structured relationship between performance and participation sports. With the interviews analyzed, besides similarities to literature, other factors were mentioned, such as the importance of entity organization, family support and factors directly related to the athletes. Also, some determinant factors for sport development have been identified that go beyond the factors exposed in the literature and by the agents, especially those related to the hidden mechanisms of domination in the subfield of swimming, contributing to the entity to have greater power in relation to the other entities, acting, besides structuring, as a structured structure. The habitus of some agents belonging to the entity represents specific predispositions for the necessary actions by the institution. Thus, agents have an understanding of the specific dynamics prevailing in their subfield and establish relationships with other fields, contributing to assertive actions in relation to their specific objectives.
