Fractional Driven Damped Oscillator
The resonances associated with a fractional damped oscillator which is driven
by an oscillatory external force are studied. It is shown that such resonances
can be manipulated by tuning up either the coefficient of the fractional
damping or the order of the corresponding fractional derivatives.Comment: 5 pages, 1 Figure. A misprint appearing in Eq. (6) of the published

Dom Adalbert Maria Franquesa i Garròs
A Dom A. Franquesa (Moià 1906?Montserrat 2005), prevere i monjo benedictí
«Sacrosanctum Concilium».Dom A. Franquesa (Moià, 1908?Montserrat, 2005), priest and Benedictine
monk at Montserrat, had three big passions: the history and religious
importance of the monastery itself, divine cult and its rationalisation in Catalonia
as well as fostering the effort towards ecumenism among the Christians
from all confessions, these three ideals being by natura entangled with
cach other. He was mainly a prominent liturgical expert of the Spanish episcopacy
before and during the Second Vatican Council and an advisor to the
Congregation of Divine Cult during the work related to the application of
the conciliar constitution, «Sacrosanctum Concilium»
The Grey Collection codex, MS 3.0.5. from the Cape Town, South Africa, National Library, a 15th century book of hours from Italy, contains at its end a page in Catalan dating from the same time. It is a table indicating the number of Lord?s Prayers to be recited at each canonical hour by those replacing the Psalms of the divine office by the Lord?s Prayer. Since there is no systematic study of this usage practised from the Middle Ages until the present day, the author compares this text with some other sources
