The complexity of the digitalization phenomenon and its correlation with digitization processes, description of their role and significance in the artistic and design sphere, lack of study of consequences and potential risks require more detailed research of the problem to understand the specifics of the ongoing changes and the situation in general, making addressing the topic extremely relevant. The problem space is presented through the discourses of digitalization as a part of the life of the contemporary world, digitization of reality as an invariable component of digital transformations; through the description of the specifics of digital culture (architecture, design and art), as well as the threats of digital society and the need for “digital detox”

Имидж и брендирование территории: модный тренд и/или актуальный дискурс современной жизни и культуры

Image and branding are modern trends and a topical discourse, a simulation space, a virtual world and the facts of life of civilization, an eternal reflection of authenticity and universality of the promoted product. They influence the achievement of positive reputation of states, regions/territories, cities, corporations/firms, entities, goods and their investment attractiveness. Working with a real space, milieu and culture of the territory allows for revealing the most typical features of the image of the territory and demonstrates both individual, personalized interpretations of the image and the most popular (often already branding) images of the ‘place’.Имидж и брендирование, будучи модными трендами и актуальным дискурсом, пространством симуляций, виртуальным миром и реалиями жизни цивилизации, неизменным отражением аутентичности и универсальности продвигаемого продукта, влияют на становление положительной репутации государств, регионов/территорий, городов, корпораций/фирм, субъектов, товаров, на их инвестиционную привлекательность. Работа с реальным пространством, средой и культурой территории позволяет проявить наиболее характерные черты имиджа территории и демонстрирует как индивидуальные, персонализованные интерпретации имиджа, так и наиболее популярные (нередко ставшие уже брендовыми) образы «места»

“Something for Nothing”, pause containers, container buildings and other interpretations of the category “Containers” were raised for the first time by the XIX Congress of Architecture in Barcelona as a topical problem of the profession. The representation of architecture as a container, when the form does not follow the function at all, and the content actually becomes a replaceable and transformable filling, changes the traditional ideas about the impossibility to transfer the content of a work into another Form. The ideology of hybrid spaces and flexible offices, the need for reconstruction/modernization of historical and industrial buildings and structures, renovation and gentrification of degrading environments and objects give special importance to the discussion of the “container” as an ongoing discourse of the profession

Дихотомия Восток–Запад: разрывы, взаимодействия, пересечения

The article studies the forms of interaction, gaps and intercrossing between the paradigms of East and West. Interpretation of the dichotomy as a model and value of culture and as a significant component of the worldview is presented in the article as a process of combination of cultural norms within the Whole. The idea of ‘transmutation contact’ is proposed for the discussion of peculiarities of the notion East-West. The mobility of borders and the ambiguity of the notion East-West predetermine different discourses of the discussion in the spaces of rational-irrational, tradition-nontradition, enlightenment and barbarism. It can be explained by the fact that the East-West dichotomy is integrated in the universe, the microspace and macrospace.Исследуются формы взаимодействия, разрывы и пересечения парадигм Востока и Запада. Интерпретация дихотомии как модели и ценности культуры, как значимого компонента картины мира представляются в статье процессом сложения культурных норм в рамках Целого. Для обсуждения специфики понятия Восток–Запад предлагается идея «трансмутационного контакта». Подвижность границ и неоднозначность самого представления Восток–Запад предопределяют различные дискурсы обсуждения в пространствах рационального–иррационального, традиции–не-традиции, просвещенности и варварства, что во многом объясняется встроенностью дихотомии Восток-Запад в универсум, в микро- и макрокосмос

Studying the prospects of the colour phenomenon for the formation of the livable environment necessitates consideration of the integrity of the space of colour effect, including the biological colour behavior; intended Ra-therapy / chromotherapy; permanent polychromy of the environment constantly influencing the human organism; involvement of chromaticity in the ideas of livability of the environment and a healthy lifestyle; as well as the necessity of permanent monitoring in the constantly changing conditions of the reality.Изучение возможностей цветового феномена в формировании жизнепригодной среды диктует необходимость учета целостности пространства цветового воздействия, которая охватывает биологическое цветовое поведение; осознанную Ра-терапию/хромотерапию; неизменную полихромность окружающего мира, непрерывно влияющего на организм человека; встроенность цветности в представления о жизнепригодности среды и здоровом образе жизни; а также потребность перманентного мониторинга в условиях бесконечно меняющейся реальности

Железноводск-2015: кафедра дизайна ИРНИТУ на Международном смотре-конкурсе дипломных проектов по архитектуре и дизайну

The article presents the results of participation of the Design Department of Irkutsk National Research Technical University in the XXIVth International Review Competition of Graduation Works on Architecture and Design 2015 and in the International Competition of Scientific and Educational Literature. The Department submitted nine works. Eight of them received the 1st category diplomas of International Public Organization of Assistance to Architectural Education and a laureate diploma; one work was awarded with a 2nd category diploma.Освещаются итоги участия кафедры дизайна Иркутского национального исследовательского технического университета в XXIV Международном смотре-конкурсе выпускных квалификационных работ по архитектуре и дизайну 2015 года и в Международном конкурсе научной и учебной литературы. Из девяти представленных кафедрой работ восемь награждены дипломами 1-й степени МООСАО и дипломом лауреата, одной работе присужден диплом 2-й степени
