In the present research the complex cytologic and biochemical estimation of a condition induced sputum at 19 patients with the heavy therapeutic-sensitive form of a bronchial asthma and 18 patients with chronic obstructive disease of lungs is lead. Dominating morphological and biochemical markers of an asthma became the raised number of macrophages, lymphocytes, and eosinophils at decrease in functional activity neutrophil elastase and increases activation properties. To ascertain the severity of opium-induced liver injury for chronic viral hepatitis C (HCV) patients with detection of morphological characters of hepatocyte impact by opiates.Needle biopsy of liver and the light microscopy of biopsy material were made both for isolated HCV and HCV+opiomania patients.Liver injury (hepatitis activity, fibrosis stage) for HCV patients against the background of opiomania does not differ from the case of isolated HCV. Use of alcohol by opium addicts even in very small doses (10β15 g per day) cause the development of significantly more severe liver injury. Fibrosis of central vein was found significantly more often for HCV against the background of opiomania.Fibrosis of central vein is a differential-diagnostic criterion of being opiates as an etiological factor of liver injury. We assessed in a prospective, randomised, placebo-controlled trial the effects of Β«yantar-antitoxΒ» in patients with exacerbations of COPD requiring hospital admission. We recruited patients with exacerbations of severe COPD who were randomly assigned oral Β«Yantar-antitoxΒ» (n=33) or identical placebo (n=45) for 14 days, in addition to standard treatment with nebulised bronchodilators, antibiotics, and oxygen. We did spirometry and recorded symptom scores in inpatients. The 6-min walking distance (6MWD) was also determined. Inflammatory markers were measured in induced sputum and serum. In the present research the complex cytologic and biochemical estimation of a condition induced sputum at 19 patients with the heavy therapeutic-sensitive form of a bronchial asthma and 18 patients with chronic obstructive disease of lungs is lead. Dominating morphological and biochemical markers of an asthma became the raised number of macrophages, lymphocytes, and eosinophils at decrease in functional activity neutrophil elastase and increases activation properties. Progressing of destructive and fibrous processes at patients with heavy form chronic obstructive pulmonary disease occurs on a background active neutrophil and lymphocytes reactions in a mucous membrane of bronchial tubes that proves to be true high activity elastase and falling of functioning proteinase inhibitor
Liver injury under chronic viral hepatitis C against the background of opiomania: morphological characters
To ascertain the severity of opium-induced liver injury for chronic viral hepatitis C (HCV) patients with detection of morphological characters of hepatocyte impact by opiates.Needle biopsy of liver and the light microscopy of biopsy material were made both for isolated HCV and HCV+opiomania patients.Liver injury (hepatitis activity, fibrosis stage) for HCV patients against the background of opiomania does not differ from the case of isolated HCV. Use of alcohol by opium addicts even in very small doses (10β15 g per day) cause the development of significantly more severe liver injury. Fibrosis of central vein was found significantly more often for HCV against the background of opiomania.Fibrosis of central vein is a differential-diagnostic criterion of being opiates as an etiological factor of liver injury. Opiates as an isolated toxic factor does not cause severe liver injury for HCV patients unlike the use of alcohol even in small doses
