    Towards Ontology-based SQA Recommender for Agile Software Development

    Agility is heavily dependent on tacit knowledge, skilled and motivated employees, and frequent communications. Although, the Agile Manifesto claims fast and light software development process while maintaining high quality, it is however not very clear how current agile practices and methods attain quality under time pressure and unstable requirements. In this paper, we present an ontological approach for process-driven Quality Assurance support for agile software development. Challenges related to the role of Quality Assurance in agile projects are addressed by developing a process-driven recommender that provides tailored resources to user’s queries. The proposed ontological model embeds both conceptual and operational SQA knowledge about software processes and their requirements, including quality attributes, SQA measurements, SQA metrics and related SQA techniques and procedures

    Contribution to Collaborative Innovation Studies: Cases of SMES Moroccan Automotive Suppliers and their Client

    The aim of this work is to study how collaborative innovation succeeds between a large enterprise and SME relationship (Manufacturer-Equipment) in automotive supply chain using case studies. Data were collected from semi-structured interviews with managers in nine firms. The main intention was to understand how these companies engaged collaborative innovation and what the factors were to make it successful. The study adopted a qualitative approach in the study of these factors. The results show the importance of the internal capacities of SMEs (management style, innovation capacities, knowledge management ...) in the success and valorization of such a project. The study provides important lessons on how these relationships can impact the way businesses operate and how they innovate

    Ab-initio calculations of the Optical band-gap of TiO2 thin films

    Titanium dioxide has been extensively studied in recent decades for its important photocatalytic application in environmental purification. The search for a method to narrow the optical band-gap of TiO2 plays a key role for enhancing its photocatalytic application. The optical band gap of epitaxial rutile and anatase TiO2 thin films deposited by helicon magnetron sputtering on sapphire and on SrTiO3 substrates was correlated to the lattice constants estimated from HRTEM images and SAED. The optical band-gap of 3.03 eV for bulk-rutile increased for the thin films to 3.37 on sapphire. The band gap of 3.20 eV for bulk-anatase increases to 3.51 on SrTiO3. In order to interpret the optical band gap expansion for both phases, ab-initio calculations were performed using the Vienna ab-initio software. The calculations for rutile as well anatase show an almost linear increase of the band gap width with decreasing volume or increasing lattice constant a. The calculated band gap fits well with the experimental values. The conclusion from these calculations is, in order to achieve a smaller band-gap for both, rutile or anatase, the lattice constants c has to be compressed, and a has to be expanded.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures, 1 tabl

    Inventory and world geographical distribution of the olive tree (Olea europaea L.) diseases caused by viruses, bacteria and phytoplasma

    The objective of this work is to prepare an Inventory about the viral and bacterial diseases of the olive tree (Olea europaea L.) and to study their Geographical distribution in the world. Fifteen viruses were considered as pathogens on the olive tree, these viruses were reported in 22 countries in five continents showing different symptoms on different olive tree varieties. All viruses were reported in Italy, some of these viruses were found only in the Eurepean continent, such as Olive vein yellows associated virus (OVYaV), Olive yellow mottling and decline associated virus (OYMDaV), Olive mild mosaic virus (OMMV) and Olive semilatent virus (OSLV). Two bacteria were reported as pathogen on the olive tree; Pseudomonas savastanoi. pv. savastanoi responsible bacteria of thr olive knot; a serious disease of olive (Olea europaea L.) in the Mediterranean region. This bacteria was detected in 22 countries in five continents, the majority of these countries exist in the Mediterranean Basin. Another bacteria was Xylella fastidiosa responsible of the quick decline syndrome of olive (OQDS), was deteted in Europe in four countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal and Slovenia) and in America in three countries (USA, Argentina and Brazil). Phtoplasmas was reported in 5 countries in three continents (Europe, Asia and Australia)

    A quantitative theory-versus-experiment comparison for the intense laser dissociation of H2+

    A detailed theory-versus-experiment comparison is worked out for H2+_2^+ intense laser dissociation, based on angularly resolved photodissociation spectra recently recorded in H.Figger's group. As opposite to other experimental setups, it is an electric discharge (and not an optical excitation) that prepares the molecular ion, with the advantage for the theoretical approach, to neglect without lost of accuracy, the otherwise important ionization-dissociation competition. Abel transformation relates the dissociation probability starting from a single ro-vibrational state, to the probability of observing a hydrogen atom at a given pixel of the detector plate. Some statistics on initial ro-vibrational distributions, together with a spatial averaging over laser focus area, lead to photofragments kinetic spectra, with well separated peaks attributed to single vibrational levels. An excellent theory-versus-experiment agreement is reached not only for the kinetic spectra, but also for the angular distributions of fragments originating from two different vibrational levels resulting into more or less alignment. Some characteristic features can be interpreted in terms of basic mechanisms such as bond softening or vibrational trapping.Comment: submitted to PRA on 21.05.200

    In this study, four species of Entolomataceae family, were studied namely Entoloma papillatum, Entoloma rhodopolium, Nolanea hirtipes and N. cucullata are harvested for the first time in Morocco. The genus Entoloma' species were encountered in Quercus suber in the forest of Mamora (Northwestern Morocco) and those of the Nolanea' genus under Quercus rotundifolia in the forest El Harcha (Northeast of the Central Plateau)

    Regularizing the ODF estimate with the Laplace-Beltrami operator in 3D Polarized Light Imaging

    International audience3D-Polarized Light Imaging (3D-PLI) is an optical approach that utilizes the birefringence in postmortem organs (brain/ heart) to map their spatial fiber structure at a submillimeter resolution. Recently, Axer et al. proposed a strategy to bridge it to relatively low diffusion MRI spatial resolution by introducing an estimate of the fiber orientation distribution functions (pliODF) from high-resolution 3D-PLI vector data. However, this method introduces angular errors by discretizing the directional histogram (DH), which limits the spherical harmonics (SH) expansion order. In this work, we propose to improve the angular resolution by making use of the Laplace-Beltrami (LB) operator to regularize the SH coefficients which define the fiber ODF at higher orders

    Pathogenicity of Helminthosporium rostrata on rice varieties widely grown in Morocco

    The plants of rice varieties (Arco, Thaibonnet and Elio) were inoculated with three isolates of Helminthosporium rostrata (HR1 HR2 and HR3), isolated for the first time in Morocco from the rice seed of Taibonnet variety at the end of the growing season. The results obtained showed that all the isolates are able to induce the disease on rice plants and sporulate on the foliar lesions. HR1, HR2 and HR3 was respectively the most pathogenic on Elio (I.C = 113), Arco (I.C = 212.5), and Taibonnet (130.48). The symptoms induced by the isolates are similar to those induced by Helminthosporium sativum on rice
