    The research was conducted to determine the composition and structure of vegetation of trees and carbon stocks in forests and city parks Pekanbaru in November 2015 to January 2016. The results used to develop module concept of forest benefits on local content of environmental education high school grade XI. The study consisted of two phases, the first analysis of the composition, vegetation structure, and estimation of carbon stocks with the survey and non - destructive method. The second phase, developing a module with concept of forest benefits by using ADDIE models. Based on the survey results revealed that the forests and parks of Pekanbaru there are 21 family, 48 species and 3218 trees with an average density of 500.64 trees / ha and diversity index of 1.93 is classified as moderate. Total carbon stocks in forest and city park of Pekanbaru is 325.692 tons. The results of the research used to development of modules and get very valid with a mean value of 4.25 and a limited test results get very good category with a mean of 85.42

    This study was conducted to determine the rate of leaf litter decomposition in Forest Areas native Prohibition Rumbio in September 2014 and January 2015. The study was conducted in two phases, phase field research and development of learning modules. Determination of the research station in purposive sample by three research stations as representing the forest community as a whole. At each station gets 15 bags of waste and the waste that is deposited on the forest floor litter bags were collected every interval of 15 days and dried for 75 days in the oven for 48 hours at a temperature of 700C – 750C. Each station measured soil temperature, soil moisture and pH of the soil and the types of trees on a plot measuring 20x20 m. The results showed the rate of leaf litter decomposition in Forest Areas native Prohibition Rumbio for 75 different days in each station, station 1 at a rate of waste decomposition leaf 0.0028 gr/m2/day, station 2 with a blade speed of waste degradation of 0.002 gr/m2/day, and the station 3 with the leaf litter degradation rate of 0.0018 gr/m2/day .     . Peatland fires in Riau province have a negative impact on the natural ecosystem, especially very influential on plants. However, many plants can grow back after the fire. This study aims to produce a visual dictionary of learning Biology SMA by utilizing the results of studies on ecosystems in post-fire peatlands. For this purpose, a survey study has been conducted in Rimbo Panjang Village, Kampar District, Riau Province from February to October 2017. Quadratic methods and sampling techniques are purposively applied to the gradient of fire incidents in 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Parameters observed in the form of species composition, environmental factors and associated vegetation associations of post-fire peatland vegetation. Data were analyzed using 2x2 contingency table descriptively and qualitatively. Based on the results of the study found 32 species and 18 families of basic vegetation on post-fire peatlands. The association of peatland vegetation found in 42 pairs of species, of which 33 pairs of species are positively associated while 9 couples are negatively associated. The results of research can be utilized for the development of learning visual dictionary of High School Biology class X (KD 3.10). Trials using the resulting visual dictionary and its benefits to the enrichment of classical learners\u27 learning materials are strongly recommended

This study aims to produce high school biology learning modules by utilizing the results of studies on the regeneration of plant vegetation in peatlands after the fire. To achieve these objectives, a survey study was conducted in Rimbo Panjang Village, Kampar District, Riau Province in February-October 2017. Quadratic method and sampling technique by purposive random sampling were applied to gradient of fire incident 2009, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Data were analyzed descriptively-qualitative. The results show that the pot-fire peatland vegetation structure of Rimbo Panjang contains 9 families . Diversity index of trees was 0.29, sapling were 0.37 and the seedling were 0.6. Modules developed based on the results of this study can be used as a source of learning subjects Biology high school class X on Ecosystem Components (KD 3.10) and the impact on environmental changes (KD 3.11). However, the design of this module needs to be tested before it is applied and the students' learning is classical

    This study investigated the ability of paraphrase a poem by Taufik Ismail humility to exposition class X MAN 039 Tembilahan. The aim of this study was to obtain data on the ability of paraphrase a poem by Taufik Ismail humility to exposition class X MAN 039 Tembilahan. The ability of paraphrase of the aspects of understanding the content and paraphrased. This study is a quantitative-descriptive. This research data is data test capabilities humility paraphrase a poem by Taufik Ismail to exposition class X MAN 039 Tembilahan. Instruments in this research is a form of poetry texts given to members of the sample. The data collection was done by using the test. The population in this study were 301 students with a total sample of 168 students. Data were analyzed with descriptive methods. The validity of the data obtained through data validation. Research results seen from the test results the ability of paraphrase a poem by Taufik Ismail humility to exposition class X MAN 039 Tembilahan. Seen from the aspect of understanding the content obtained average value amounted to 70.07 with a low category. Then, from the aspect paraphrase obtained average value amounted to 73.96 with the medium category

    The purposes of this research is to describe the ability in comprehend the element of intrinsic in drama of second year student at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan village Kampar district. The element of intrinsic is element which develop build belleslettres from within. The element of intrinsic is an important elemen whick is supposed to be learned by students in learning literature. In learned literature at school, comprehend the element of intrinsic in drama is one of basic component that should be learned at second grade of MTs. This research is aimed to know the students\u27 ability in comprehend the element of intrinsic in drama of second year student at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan village Kampar district. Generally, there are 5 element of intrinsic are those theme, plot, characteristic, setting, and moral message. In this research, the method that\u27s used is descriptive method with 50 samples. To collect the data, the researcher collected the students\u27 test result, gave score, found the percentage of each element, and considered the average score. The resul can be concluded that the students\u27 ability in understanding the element of intrinsic in drama of second year students at MTs Muhammadiyah Penyasawan village Kampar district are categorized as low with average score 67. Percentage of high ability level student was 8%, medium 32%, and low 60%. The detail of average score of intrinsic element that has obtained is that: theme was categorized as low (46), plot was categorized as high (94), characteristic was categorized as low (66), setting was categorized as medium (79), moral message was categorized as low (50)
