    Profile of Academic Hardiness Students in Pharmaceutical School in Banjarmasin City

    Pharmacy school is one of the vocational schools that prepare students' vocational abilities. Students are presented with a curriculum with quite a lot of subjects so they are quite vulnerable to the emergence of potential academic stress tendencies. The possible characteristic that pharmacy students need to have is academic hardiness. This study aims to analyze or profile the academic hardiness of pharmacy students in dealing with potentially stressful academic situations. The sample of this research is the students of class XI Pharmacy school in one of the schools in Banjarmasin City. the model in this study amounted to 69 students. The instrument used in collecting data is the academic hardiness questionnaire. Data analysis used simple descriptive statistics with survey research methods. The results showed that as many as 28 or 41% of students had academic hardiness in the very high category. As many as 30 or 43% of students showed high academic hardiness, as many as 11 or 16% of students showed relatively low academic hardiness but no students showed low academic hardiness. The conclusion of this study shows that students at pharmacy school in Banjarmasin show high academic hardiness. This means that pharmacy school students in the city of Banjarmasin have high resilience which reflects their commitment, control, and challenges in carrying out academic activities even though they have quite a lot of burden in fulfilling their academic competencies

    This study aims to examine the effectiveness of reality group counseling to improve academic hardiness in students. The research method used in this study used the Quasi Experiment method through Nonrandomized Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design with a population of 71 students with a sampling technique using purposive sampling which resulted in 8 students having an indication of low academic hardiness. This study used a different T test, namely the paired sample t-test (the average difference of two paired samples) as a data analysis technique and the independent sample t-test (the average difference of two unpaired samples) in the SPSS 21 program. The results of the paired sample t-test obtained a significance of 0.026 <0.05. This means that there is a significant increase in academic hardiness in the experimental class. In the independent sample t-test test, it obtained a significance result of 0.003 <0.05 and the comparison value of the two methods had a difference of 41.25 from the results of the posttest average value of the experimental class of 137.25 and the posttest average value of the control class of 96 From this analysis it can be interpreted that there has been an increase in academic hardiness in class X students of the Banjarmasin Pharmacy Vocational School.____________________________________________________________Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan konseling kelompok realitas untuk meningkatkan academic hardiness pada siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen melalui Nonrandomized Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design dengan populasi berjumlah 71 siswa dengan teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yang menghasilkan 8 orang siswa yang memiliki indikasi academic hardiness rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji beda T yaitu uji paired sample  t-test (perbedaan rata-rata dua sampel yang berpasangan) sebagai teknik analisis data dan uji independent sample  t-test (perbedan rata rata dua sampel yang tidak berpasangan) pada program SPSS 21. Adapun hasil uji paired sample  t-test memperoleh hasil signifikansi sebanyak 0,026 < 0,05. Maknanya terjadi kenaikan  academic hardiness yang signifikan terhadap kelas eksperimen. Pada uji independent sample t-test mendapatkan hasil signifikansi sebanyak 0,003 < 0,05 serta nilai perbandingan kedua metode memiliki selisih sebesar 41,25 dari hasil nilai  rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen sebanyak 137,25 dan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol sebesar 96. Dari analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan academic hardiness pada siswa kelas X SMK Banjarmasin.
