Analisis Perbandingan Isi Tajuk Rencana Surat Kabar (Studi Deskriptif tentang Isi Tajuk Rencana Surat Kabar Harian Analisa dan Waspada Edisi 1-31 Agustus 2016)

Analisa dan Waspada merupakan surat kabar daerah yang berbasis di Kota Medan. Keduanya memiliki daerah pemasaran dan penerbitan di lokasi yang sama. Meskipun demikian isi dari kedua surat kabar tersebut tidak selalu sama karena mereka memiliki kebijakan redaksi dan karakter yang berbeda. Kebijakan redaksi merupakan penjabaran dari visi surat kabar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbandingan Isi Tajuk Rencana terdiri dari tema, jenis tajuk, haluan tajuk, jenis dan haluan kalimat serta nilai moral di Surat Kabar Harian Analisa dan Waspada Edisi 1-31 Agustus 2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian dengan metode analisis isi pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah isi tajuk rencana yang dimuat dalam surat kabar Harian Analisa dan Waspada Medan Edisi 1-31 Agustus 2016 berjumlah 26 tajuk rencana dan semuanya menjadi sampel penelitian (total sampling). Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisa dengan uji statistk chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tajuk rencana berdasarkan aspek ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam pemilihan tema tajuk rencana antara surat kabar Analisa dengan Waspada (X2 hitung 21,20 > X2 tabel 18,31). Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan jenis tajuk rencana antara surat kabar Analisa dengan Waspada (X2 hitung 4,40 <X2 tabel 5,991). Ada perbedaan yang signifikan haluan tajuk rencana ((X2 hitung 10,40 > X2 tabel 5,991), tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan haluan tajuk rencana (X2 hitung 3,50< X2 tabel 5,991), ada perbedaan yang signifikan haluan tajuk rencana (X2 hitung 119,60> X2 tabel 5,991), ada perbedaan yang signifikan nilai moral dalam tajuk rencana (X2 hitung 38,68 >X2 tabel 18,31).Analysis and Alert is a regional newspaper based in Medan City. Both have a publishing and publishing area in the same location. Nevertheless the contents of the two newspapers are not always the same because they have different editorial policies and characters. Editorial policy is the elaboration of the vision of the newspaper. The objectives of the study are to know and analyze the comparison of the Content of the Planner consists of theme, type of header, canopy direction, sentence type and direction as well as moral values in Daily Newspaper Analysis and Alert Edition 1-31 August 2016. This type of research is a type of research with the method of content analysis of quantitative approach. The population is the content of the editorial published in the daily newspaper Analysis and Waspada Medan Issue 1-31 August 2016 amounted to 26 editorials and all became the sample of the study (total sampling). The results show that the editorial based on the aspect there is a significant difference in the theme selection between newspaper Analysis with Alert (X2count 21.20> X2tabel 18,31). there was no significant difference in the type of editorial between newspaper Analysis with Alert (X2count 4.40 <X2table 5,991). there is a significant difference in editorial directions (X2count 10.40> X2tabel 5.991), there is no significant difference in editorial directions (X2count 3.50 <X2table 5,991), there is a significant difference in editorial bowing (X2count 119.60> X2table 5,991), there is a significant difference in the moral value of the editorial (X2count 38.68> X2table 18.31)

Daily Newspaper Analysis and Alert have the same marketing and news coverage area in their own city of course. So the two newspapers will always continue to compete in obtaining news. It also allows both of them to share the same news. It may be that both of them raise the same event but are written in different angles. The difference between the two newspapers is the content of the editorial, as the content of the editorial is an opinion written by the editor of the editor himself. So it is only natural that the content of the editorial differs from newspaper to newspaper, even though it raises the same problem. Through editorials, the editor can provide both criticism and suggestions to the government as well as those with an interest to the community. This is because an editorial contains information on issues that are going on in the community. Research on the differences in the content of the editorial because there are differences in newspaper tendencies. Therefore, to see this the researcher chose to use content analysis method. Using this method, the researcher can prove that Daily Analysis and Alert do have differences in published writing and viewed from the content of the editorial
