    The aims of this research were getting a display of students’ science process aspec scientific literacy improvement in SMK through Science Technology Society model with scientific methods implementation. The methods was the quasi experiment research with the randomized control group pretestt posttest design. This research was implemented in one of SMK Negeri in Kota Bandung by taking two classes as samples which choosen by cluster random sampling, one class as the experiment class and the other as control class. The experiment class used the Science Technology Society model with scientific methods and the control class used the Science Technology Society model without scientific methods. The data’s research was collected by using literacy science test,students and teacher respon attitude scale and observation sheet. The data were analyzed using: independent sample t-test of SPSS 16and persentage of average. The result of this research showed that the increasing of students’ scientific literacy used Science Technology Society model with scientific methods higher than students’ scientific literacy used Science Technology Society model without scientific methods. The N-Gain of experiment class was 0.31 and the control was 0.24 with α=0.05. Students response was agree and the teacher response strong agree that implementation of Science Technology Society model with scientific methods can be used to increase students interest and motivation, the advantage of science and technology in daily life and students’ scientific literacy

    PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN OPEN ENDED DENGAN PENDEKATAN ACTIVE LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA DI SMA

    The goals of this research were: (1) to describe student activity use open ended model by active learning approach on learning physics at senior high school; (2) to describe the influence of application open ended model by active learning approach for study outcome on learning physics at senior high school. The type of this research was pure experiment research. The research methodology of this study used control group pretestposttest design. Data collection method of this research used observation, documentation, and test. The data analysis used: (1) the percentage of students learning activities; (2) difference of pre test and post test score and use of t-test statistic to analyze. This research was done through three meeting. The score value of t-test is 3.42 greater than t-table is 1.994 and its mean that there were differrence of students’ outcome. The percentage of students learning activities at first meeting was 53.44%. In the second meeting, percentage classically more than the first meeting it was 53.59% and the third meeting was 54.84% so the average of students activities percentage was 53.95%

    Practical activities are a series of activities carried out to apply skills or practice something that requires practical tools in its implementation. The purpose of using practical tools is to meet the needs of practitioners in carrying out a process. One of the physics concepts that can be explained through practical activities is calorimetry. Specific heat is one of the observations made during the practicum using a calorimeter. The specific heat of the material is usually measured using a coffee-cup calorimeter manually. The obstacle faced by the practitioner during the calorimetry practicum is that the measurement of the dependent variables takes up the time and attention of the practitioner in the implementation of the practicum. The objectives of this research are (1) to design an Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool; (2) explain the work system of the Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool; (3) measuring the amount of heat on the Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool; (4) comparing the effectiveness of the Arduino Uno-based calorimeter practicum tool with the coffee-cup calorimeter practicum tool. This study uses a type of research and development (Research and Development) with a Nieveen design conducted in the Laboratory of Physics Education Study FKIP Jember University. Nieveen's design research procedures include Preliminary Research, Prototyping Stage, and Assessment Stage (summative evaluation). Based on the results of data analysis, there is a very strong relationship between the data from the measurement results of the design of the tool and the data from the results of the measuring instruments that have been standardized. The results of the measurement of the specific heat of the material using the design of the tool indicate a conformity with the previous theoretical study.     PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT BASED LEARNING DENGAN PENDEKATAN STEM TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMA

    The learning model project based learning is an instructional model that can be applied to the STEM approach. Approach STEM (Science, Technology in, Engineering and Mathematic) is an approach that can be used in learning by using multiple disciplines. STEM approach in learning is very suitable to be applied in the curriculum in 2013 so that students are able to be more active, creative, and better understand the concepts taught in a material for a project which produced students in learning directly related to real-life experience of students in the everyday. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the learning model project based learning with STEM approach to the learning outcomes of high school students. The research was conducted in class X IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember, with 32 students at 15 male students and 17 female students. The method used in this research is the method pre-experiment design with one group pretest-posttest design. Collecting data in this study using the initial test and final test. Student learning outcomes obtained after application project based learning model STEM learning approach shows N-gain category was at 0.62.   Keywords: project based learning, approach STEM, learning outcomes

    Deuterium adalah isotop atom hidrogen yang memiliki struktur sederhana dan memiliki sifat kuantum yang sama dengan atom hidrogen. Dalam hal ini solusi persamaan yang akan digunakan sebagai solusi adalah persamaan Schrodinger dari koordinat bola. Posisi elektron dalam atom tidak dapat ditentukan dengan pasti, tetapi kita dapat menentukan probabilitas dengan menggunakan fungsi radial atom deuterium. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah pendekatan ketidakpastian Hesenberg dalam menentukan momentum dan spektrum energi atom deuterium n=4. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian non eksperimen berupa pengembangan teori yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi (1) data distribusi probabilitas, ekspektasi, ketidakpastian momentum, dan simulasi keluaran grafik ketidakpastian momentum atom deuterium tergantung pada bilangan kuantum utama dan azimuth-nya, (2) data distribusi spektrum energi n≤4. Semakin besar nilai bilangan kuantum utama dan azimuth-nya akan mengakibatkan peningkatan nilai ketidakpastian momentumnya dan mengakibatkan penurunan nilai ketidakpastian posisinya, sehingga semakin akurat pengukuran posisi akan menghasilkan pengukuran momentum yang lebih tidak akurat. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar tingkat energinya, maka energi atom Deutrium yang diperoleh akan semakin kecil. Ini karena semakin banyak lintasan kulit atom akan menghasilkan lebih sedikit energi

    Covid-19 has an impact on all activities, one of which is education. This causes learning to turn into a distance learning system. Physics is a subject that is considered difficult for students to reach. The purpose of this research  was to analyze the responses of Ngoro Jombang Senior High School students after using physics e-module based android (andromo), the subject of elasticity. This research method has a quantitative research method using an instrument in the form of a response questionnaire given to class XI MIPA of of Ngoro Jombang Senior High School. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that physics e-module based android (andromo) gets a positive response from respondents.     ANALISIS FREKUENSI BUNYI DAN CEPAT RAMBAT GELOMBANG BUNYI PADA ALAT MUSIK TRADISIONAL ANGKLUNG

    The research is motivated by cultural aspects that must be preserved and studied in various scientific fields, including physics. One of the interesting cultural elements to study is the traditional musical instrument, the angklung. This study aims to analyze the frequency and speed of sound waves in angklung. The benefit of this research is to get the cognitive content of science and as a form of cultural preservation of the angklung musical instrument. This type of research is quantitative with experimental methods. Collecting data is by measuring the physical quantities on the angklung. The data analysis technique used is graphical analysis and mathematical calculations. The results obtained are that the length of the angklung tube is inversely proportional to the frequency of the sound produced. Mathematical calculations can get the value of the speed of sound wave propagation according to the closed organ pipe concept.     In the 21st century critical thinking skills are needed by students. Critical thinking skills have several indicators, including: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, ability to explain and self regulation. In this research, the indicators that measured was analytical indicators. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of practicum method on analytical skills. The research is an experimental research with post-test only control group design. The post-test questions used are 10 UN questions given at the end of te lesson. Location was at SMAN 5 Jember with research sample from class X1 and X4 wich were selected based on the smallest average value of midterm exam. The results of this research indicate that the practicum method has an effect on analytical skills’s student, it is known based on tested by non parametric Mann-Whitney U.

    Learning carried out during the pandemic is required to develop technology to support student learning effectively. Solutions for students and teachers to carry out learning effectively by using learning media that students can understand independently at home. Learning media that can support students in independent learning are modules. The module usage by educators related to 21st-century skills to balance the world of education in the modern era can collaborate with models, methods, and approaches in learning, one of which is the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. The purpose of this research is to describe the effectiveness of the STEM integrated physics module. The research method is by giving tests to students in the form of pretest and posttest. The subjects of this study were students of MAN 1 Jember class X MIPA 2 as a limited test and X MIPA 3 broad test. Product testing was conducted by researchers using the One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Then analyzed normalized Gain (N-gain) to determine the effectiveness of the module. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of the module in the limited test obtained an average N-gain of 0.55 in the medium category, while in the broad test it was 0.71 in the high category. Based on the results of the effectiveness analysis that the STEM integrated physics module is in the effective category.   Keyword: Module, STEM, efectivit
