Pemasaran Melaka Sdn Bhd is a company that market Melaka products. During the first few years of its establishment, the customer accepted Pemasaran Melaka positively by the local authority. This can be indicated when many local entrepreneur want to supply the product in Pemasaran Melaka and the monthly sales by Pemasaran reached RM100k – RM200k. In the recent years, the sales by Pemasaran Melaka were slightly reduced. According to managing director of PMSB, this could due to the decreasing level of customer satisfaction towards store image at PMSB compared to when it was first established. Thus, this research is to study the influence of Pemasaran Melaka store image on customer satisfaction. The objectives of this study is to determine the element of store image conducted by PMSB that influence customer satisfaction, to rank the store image element, to examine the element of store image towards level of customer satisfaction and to give the recommendation to the company on what most effective element of store image they can use in time to come. In this study, the researcher design, descriptive, exploratory and conclusive research had been used. For the sampling technique, convenience sampling has been used where the researcher will distribute 100 questionnaires to customer of PMSB. Reliability test, frequency analysis, pearson correlation and multiple regression had been used in this study to get the data from the questionnaire. The findings showed service quality is the most effective element while product assortment is the least effective tool. The research also provides some recommendation to PMSB to improve their store image to become more effective. All the data gathered from the questionnaire has been analyzed using Statistic Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease due to reduced insulin sensitivity and secretion in the body which associated with obesity and hypertension. This study aimed to determine the influence of family support and self-motivation towards dietary compliance and glycaemic control among Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) outpatients. This cross-sectional study involved 35 subjects selected from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC) in Cheras and Ampangan Health Clinic in Seremban. Anthropometric measurements and fasting blood glucose have been obtained. Face-to-face interview session was done to obtain socio-demographic and diet intake. Further, dietary compliance, social support and self-motivation were assessed using Summary Diabetes Self Care Activities (SDSCA), Diabetes Social Support Questionnaire Family version (DSSQ-Fa) and Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire (TSRQ), respectively. Only 8.6% of subjects complied with dietary counselling. Fasting blood glucose for both men (7.93 ± 1.99 mmol/L) and women (8.77 ± 3.08 mmol/L) were higher than normal range. Self-motivation (r = 0.358, p < 0.05) and family support (r = 0.460, p < 0.01) significantly correlated with dietary compliance. Self-motivation and family support are important factors which can increase compliance towards dietary counseling. Further investigation should be carried out to determine factors that may influence dietary compliance and family support towards achieving desirable glycaemic control among T2DM patients

This study investigates the motivation of volunteer tourism involvement among student in University Malaysia Kelantan. This study examines the motivation seen by student when involving volunteer tourism. The researchers also want to classify the relationship between contributing and help, type of trip and volunteering destination toward the motivation of volunteer tourism involvement among student in University Malaysia Kelantan. To achieve this analysis, a quantitative study was carried out. The sample size in this study was conducted with 368 respondents through online surveys. For the analysis of the data, reliability test and Pearson correlation would be used. Form the results, our analysis showed volunteering destination recorded the highest correlation with the motivation of volunteer tourism involvement. For further study, other research result can also be used as a guide for future research to find out more factors that influence the motivation among student in volunteer tourism involvement

Spatial Model of Sky Brightness Magnitude in KUSZA Observatory, UniSZA

Light pollution is the by-product of anthropogenic activities result from the increases in advanced economic and urbanization. Light pollution limits the ability to view the night sky by astronomers, on biodiversity, and ecosystems. This technology nowadays has led us to increase the convenient method to observe the brightness of night sky to determine how much the night sky polluted by artificial light. The study used SQM device and monitored the sky brightness of the KUSZA Observatory in Merang, Setiu, Terengganu, Malaysia. The results obtained were used to compare with the results obtained by simulation data generated from Earth Observation Group (EOG) of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Geophysical Data Center. It is the first world atlas of the artificial night sky brightness using GIS Interpolation tools. The result showed that the Kusza Observatory Merang is still appropriate to be the place of observation of celestial objects to either optical or radio astronomers. Hence, we recommended that through the data obtained from Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) satellites, the value of sky brightness from all over the world can be used to make further analysis and to increase the precision of data recorded through observations. This study provides a clear view mapping of the accessing the sky condition using Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis in the study area
