    Breakthroughs in the Development of Regional Leading Sectors: Challenges and Sustainability

    The purpose of this research is to identify, analyze, explain the essence and orientation of regional-based tourism development as a leading sustainable sector. The approach used is qualitative and quantitative techniques. The results showed that as one of the leading sectors in the Sinjai area is tourism, considering that the tourism potential in Sinjai is quite potential seen from three aspects, namely: 1) natural tourism potential consisting of 35 natural attractions scattered from each district, 2) historical potential and regional culture consisting of 71 tourist destinations, 3) man-made tourism potential and special interest. Tourism in Sinjai has taken a toll on the Co-19 pandemic so that the impact is quite concerning for the local government and local communities. Is there still the government's support and interest in developing the tourism sector, which is a challenge in its sustainability. It takes creativity, innovation and breakthroughs by the government in absorbing various changes and technological advances for future life

    Study of Granitoid Distribution at Toboali Waters, Bangka Belitung Province: Seismic Data Interpretation Approach

    Bangka Island is one of the islands in Indonesia which is traversed by Southeast Asia granitoid belt. This belt stretches from Burma (Myanmar) to Bangka Belitung. This granitoid has potential as a source rock of mineral that carrying tin and rare earth element. At present, mapping of granitoid rocks to the waters area is rarely published, so acoustic basement mapping is necessary to do in order to determine the distribution of granitoids in Toboali waters. The research method used is a single channel seismic with an energy source of 300 joules. The sound source uses a single plate boomer, so it has a high enough resolution but the penetration is not deep enough. Acoustic basement in Toboali waters varies in depth from 15 - 75 ms or getting deeper south. When viewed from the continuity of the acoustic basement, it is estimated that the granitoid is 7 km from the nearest coastline.Key words: single channel seismic, seismic interprtation, granitoid distribution, Toboali Waters, Bangka Belitung ProvincePulau Bangka merupakan salah satu pulau di Indonesia yang dilalui oleh jalur granitoid Asia Tenggara. Jalur ini membentang dari Burma (Myanmar) hingga Bangka Belitung. Granitoid ini memiliki potensi sebagai batuan sumber pembawa mineral timah dan unsur tanah jarang. Pada saat ini pemetaan batuan granitoid pada daerah perairan jarang dipublikasikan, sehingga pemetaan batuan dasar akustik perlu dilakukan dalam rangka mengetahui sebaran granitoid di Perairan Toboali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu seismik single channel dengan sumber energi yang dikeluarkan sebesar 300 joule. Sumber suaranya menggunakan boomer single plate, sehingga memiliki resolusi yang cukup tinggi akan tetapi penetrasinya tidak cukup dalam. Batuan dasar akustik di Perairan Toboali memiliki kedalaman bervariasi mulai dari 15 – 75 ms atau semakin ke selatan semakin dalam. Jika dilihat dari kemenerusan batuan dasar akustiknya diperkirakan granitoid tersebut berada 7 km dari garis pantai terdekat

    Pengayaan Polifenol Total Dari Daun Kadamba Menggunakan Metode Ekstraksi Berbantu Mikrowave Berbasis Pelarut Hijau: Total Polyphenols Enrichment From Mitragyna Speciosa Korth Havil Leaves Using Green Solvent Based Microwave-assisted Extraction Method

    The present study aims to optimize the natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES) as a green solvent-based microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) of total polyphenols content (TPC) from Mitragyna speciosa Korth Havil leaves using response surface methodology (RSM). Preparation of natural deep eutectic solvent (NADES) as a green solvent was performed by melting the two-component of Malic acid and glucose using a magnetic stirrer. The leaves sample was extracted using the NADES-MAE method with various extraction conditions with four factors and three levels (Box Behnken Design) and optimized using RSM with licensed software of Design Expert V12. TPC was determined using a Folin-Ciocalteau reagent and absorbance was measured on a UV-VIS spectrophotometer at 770 nm and gallic acid as a standard. This study was obtained the optimum extraction conditions include: NADES ratio (Malic acid: glucose) of 1:2 g/g, 50% microwave power, a solvent-sampel ratio of 12:1 mL/g, and extraction time for 7 minutes. The optimum conditions were obtained according to the equation formula: TPC = 165.17 – 33.97X1 + 38.36X2 – 6.08X3 + 16.12X4 – 62.77X1X2 + 79.61X12X2, where a R2 value = 0.7102 with a TPC prediction of 402.087±43.81 mg GAE/g sample. These conditions can be used to extract TPC from this plant efficiently, quickly, easily, and environmentally friendly
