Impression in “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud”

Stylistics is a linguistic analysis on literary and non-literary texts. This article concerns with a systemic stylistic analysis on a poem in terms of Systemic Functional Linguistics and Verbal Art Semiotics. The article uses library research, qualitative data, documentary study, descriptive method and intrinsic-objective approach. The semantic analysis results in both automatized and foregrounded meanings. Then the automatized meaning produces lexical cohesion and in turn, it produces subject matter. Meanwhile, the foregrounded meaning produces the literary meaning and in turn, it creates theme. Finally, the analysis indicates that the subject matter is about the beautiful daffodil, the literary meaning is about the impressive flower and the theme is about impression of dancing daffodils

Code Mixing Phenomenon on Football Presenter\u27s Utterances at Sctv Sports Program

Every human being has a certain way in communication. One of them is to communicate using another language to facilitate the listener to understand the message that is delivered. Code mixing is a phenomenon that often occurs in bilingual conversation, one of the examples of code mixing phenomenon can be found in sports program, especially in a football match program on television. This study is intended to determine and to explain the types and forms of code mixing that is often used by the presenters in presenting a program. The result of this study shows that the form of code mixing that is often used is the word insertion of outer code mixing, that is a mixing of a language with a foreign language because the football terms in English are more popular than the football terms in Indonesian

The Effect of Transformational Leadership and Self Efficacy Toward Teachers Organizational Citizenship Behavior (Ocb) in State Vocational School at Bekasi District

The objective of this research is to obtain information concerning to the effect of transformational leadership and self efficacy toward teachers organizational citizenship behavior in state vocational school in Bekasi district. The research was conduct by using survey method with path analysis in testing hyphotesis. In this research, 165 from 280 teacher of teachers selected random sampling. The research was focused on three aspect; transformational leadership and self efficacy toward teachers OCB. The data were collected with questionnaire and analyzed with path analysis. Result on the analysis it is conculaded that (1) there the positive direct effect of transformational leadership toward OCB, (2) there is positive direct effect of self efficacy toward OCB and (3) there is positive direct effect of transformational leadership toward self efficacy

Memerangi Delegitimasi Institusi Lokal Fighting Local Institution Delegitimacy

Bahwa keberadaan institusi lokal baik pada masa Orde Baru maupun era reformasi mengalami kondisi kemuraman. Hal itu disebabkan karena intervensi politik penguasa yang bersifat monolitik, hegemonik dan cenderung top down maupun disebabkan oleh adanya stigmatisasi keliru yang mencap penduduk desa bodoh, malas dan tidak produktif. Akibatnya, mereka dianggap tidak layak untuk mengelola suatu lembaga lokal yang akan bermanfaat bagi upaya pemberdayaannya. Sistem politik dan paradigma yang keliru itu harus diluruskan. Keberadaan institusi lokal harus dikembalikan pada posisinya yang hakiki, yaitu sebagai instrument penguatan warga akar rumput. Oleh karena itu, intervensi kreatif dan inovatif sangat dibutuhkan, agar eksistensi lembaga lokal dapat kembali secara optimal dalam memberdayakan warga dan menjadi instrumen yang efektif dalam interaksi sosial, politik, ekonomi, budaya dan sebagainya, secara lebih bermakna
