The sample ofthis research was the psychology graduate students of Satya Wacana Christian University of Salatiga. Data were acquired by distributing the questioners. Smart Parenting Education for Parents in Character Forming of Children in the Millenial Era

The development of technology and information in the digital era has an impact on the character of children, both positive and negative. The negative impact caused resulted in moral degradation. Efforts that can be made to overcome this problem are the formation of children's character in a good direction. Character formation is a conscious and planned effort of teachers and parents to educate and empower the potential of children to build character so that they become useful individuals. This community service activity aims to educate teachers and parents about the importance of smart parenting in shaping children's character in the millennial era. This activity was held at Rafflesia Arnoldy PAUD, Ambon City. This activity is aimed at teachers and parents of students. In its implementation, this PKM Community Service activity includes three stages, namely the observation stage, material preparation, and training implementation. The assessment of the achievement of the participants' cognitive understanding was carried out through pre-test and post-test. The education provided to teachers and parents at Rafflesia Arnoldy PAUD regarding smart parenting in the formation of children's character in the millennial era can increase the understanding of teachers and parents. This Community Service Activity (PKM) makes a positive contribution to increasing the (cognitive) understanding of teachers and parents about the types of parenting and understanding the child's personality type. Through the education provided about temperament and parenting patterns, the understanding of teachers and parents about temperament and parenting patterns increases

Resilience In Pregnant Mothers with HIV during Post-COVID-19 Pandemic

ABSTRACT Background: The recent COVID-19 pandemic has had significant psychological and social effects on the population. Pregnant women with HIV are vulnerable group to this disease. One way that pregnant women with HIV can do during a pandemic or post-pandemic is resilience. This study aimed to examine the resilience of pregnant women with HIV after the COVID-19 pandemic. Subjects and Method: This was a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. This study was conducted in Ambon, Maluku in June to August 2021. Two HIV-positive pregnant women were selected using the snowball sampling technique. The dependent variable was HIV. The independent variable was resilience. Data were collected using in-depth interview. Results: Pregnant women with HIV can create resilience within themselves. Resilience was carried out to maintain physical and psychological health. There were four types of resilience: (1) Pregnant women with HIV remained productive after the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) Pregnant women with HIV were able to manage stress; (3) Pregnant women with HIV established good social relationships; and (4) Pregnant women with HIV drew closer to God. Conclusion: Pregnant women with HIV perform resilience in the post-COVID-19 pandemic. Resilience maintains physical and psychological health in the daily life.
