    زمینه و هدف: دوران یائسگی به دنبال دوران حساس و بحرانی کلیماکتریک همراه با عوارض و پیامدهایی می باشد که می توانند بر کیفیت زندگی زن تأثیر گذاشته و احساس خوب و سالم بودن را در او تضعیف نمایند. شایع ترین و آزار دهنده ترین این پیامدها گرگرفتگی می باشد نظر به اینکه گرگرفتگی بر کار، فعالیت های اجتماعی، لذت از زندگی، اوقات فراغت، خواب و کیفیت کلی زندگی تأثیر می گذارد و با توجه به اینکه درمان اصلی این حالت هورمون درمانی است که دارای عوارض و پیامدهای سوء بوده، پیگیری های مداوم را می طلبد، در عده ای منع مصرف داشته و گروهی نیز از مصرف آن راضی نیستند، بر آن شدیم تا با تعیین تأثیر دو داروی گیاهی فیتواستروژنی (حاوی موادی شبیه استروژن) بر گرگرفتگی، قدمی در جهت بهبود کیفیت زندگی زنان و ارتقاء سطح سلامتی آنان برداریم. مواد و روشها: پژوهش فوق از نوع کارآزمایی بالینی دو سوکور و آینده نگر می باشد که در سال 1381 در اصفهان انجام شده است. حجم نمونه در این مطالعه 81 نفر زنان 55-45 ساله واجد شرایط بوده که از گرگرفتگی شاکی و مایل به درمان بودند و به روش نمونه گیری آسان به طور تصادفی در سه گروه 27 نفری شامل گروه درمان با ویتاگنوس، گروه درمان با پاسی پی و گروه درمان با پلاسبو قرار گرفتند. اطلاعات از طریق مصاحبه، پرسشنامه، ویژگی های فردی و پرسشنامه شدت گرگرفتگی کوپرمن که قبل و پس از درمان در 3 مرحله توسط واحدهای مورد پژوهش تکمیل گردید جمع آوری شد و نتایج توسط آمار توصیفی و تحلیلی (من ویتنی، کراسکال والیس و ویل کاکسون) مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. نتایج: یافته ها نشان داد که شدت گرگرفتگی بین سه گروه پس از درمان با استفاده از آزمون کراسکال والیس اختلاف آماری معنی داری وجود دارد (05/0

    Anxiety in Physicians and Nurses Working in Intensive Care Units in Yasuj's Hospitals/Iran

    AbstractIntensive care unit is one of the stressful environments for its staff, especially physicians and nurses. This study was objective to determine anxiety in physicians and nurses working in intensive care units in Yasuj,s hospitals in Iran. This research is an intervention study conducted in Yerevan city in 2009. The number of participants in this study is 150 which are randomly selected. In this study 120 nurses and 30 specialists participated as the working in the intensive care unit of Yasuj,s hospitals in Iran. In the study, a 10-question demographic questionnaire, 20-question situational anxiety, 20-question personality anxiety Berger is used. After codification, the questionnaires Results indicate that average score for the situational anxiety of the nurses has been 46.96, average score for the situational anxiety of physicians has been 39.40 and that average score for the personality anxiety of the nurses has been 40.96, average score for the personality anxiety of physicians has been 36.73. This study provides valuable insight into the actual and perceived stressful experiences of critical care nurses, thus contributing to the ongoing effort to reduce burnout in this population

    The Effects of Emotional Intelligence (EI) Items Education on Job Related Stress in Physicians and Nurses who Work in Intensive Care Units

    Background & Aim: Intensive care units (ICUs) are recognized as stressful environments. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of emotional intelligence education items on job related stress on physicians and nurses who work in intensive care units at hospitals of Yerevan, Armenia. Methods: A interventional study design was implemented with 106 registered hospital physicians and nurses, who were widely distributed all the way through. Case group was taught about 15 E.I items. For data collection, the 20-question Berger situational (overt) anxiety questionnaire, the 20-item personality (covert) anxiety questionnaire, and the Bar-on emotional intelligence questionnaire with 133 questions were used. Statistical descriptive methods, chi-square (X2) and t-tests were used to analyze data. Results: The research achievements revealed that the average score of the case group`s situational anxiety was 46.59 before intervention, which decreased to 39.95 after the training of the items of emotional intelligence. The average score of situational anxiety of control group was 44.32 before intervention which increased to 44.76 after examination. There was a meaningful statistical difference between case and control group after education of emotional intelligence`s items (p=0.001). Conclusion: Results of the current study showed that physicians and nurses experience high level of stress. The ability to effectively deal with emotion intelligence and emotional information in the workplace assists employees in coping with occupational stress and should be developed in stress managing trainings

    Effectiveness of Existential Psychotherapy in Increasing the Resiliency of Infertile Women

    Background and Aim: Many problems are associated with infertility diagnosis, especially for women. Resiliency is one of the strategies which may reduce psychological distress of infertile women. The aim of current research was to study the effectiveness of existential psychotherapy in increasing the resiliency of infertile women. Method: The design of the present study was a semi-experimental research with pretest and posttest with control group. Statistical population consisted of all infertile women of Dehdasht, Iran, in the summer of 2014. Samples were selected at first by available sampling method and after completing resiliency questionnaire, and obtaining score for enter to research, were placement using random sampling method in two experimental and control groups (N = 8 per group). The experimental group participated in 8 sessions of group counseling based on existential approach and control group received no intervention. The gathered data were analyzed using covariance analysis. Results: The results showed that significant differences between the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group existed. This difference was significant at the level of 0.01. Therefore, it seemed that existential psychotherapy increased the resiliency of infertile women. Conclusion: The results revealed that existential psychotherapy increased resiliency of infertile women and interventions based on this approach will lead to the improvement of the mental health
