    Pengaruh Model Think Pair Share Berbantuan Media Poster Materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup

    This research aims to find out the effect of poster-aided Think Pair Share learning model on student learning outcomes in the material of Living Organism Classification in the seventh grade of State Junior High School (SMPN) 2 Sungai Raya. The method used was the quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The samples are consisted of two classes, seventh grade class F as the experiment class and class H as the control class, while the sampling technique used was the intact group. The average student outcome in the experiment class was 16,66, while the control class 15,10. The results of the analysis using the U Mann-Whitney test show that Zcount< -Ztable (-2,60 < -1,96), meaning that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of student taught using the poster-aided Think Pair Share and using the conventional learning model. The size effect value obtained was 0,47 in the category of moderate so that the poster-aided Think Pair Share learning model had an impact of 18,08% on the student learning outcomes in the material of living organism in the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Sungai Raya

    This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in human population density material in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau. Forms of research conducted is a Class Action Research (Classroom Action Research) in class VII B SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau on students totaled 27 students consisting of 13 female students and 14 male students. The instrument used is written in the form of multiple choice test with 10 questions for any number of cycles. Based on the analysis of data, obtained an average student learning outcomes after implementation of cooperative learning model STAD in the first cycle are 71.48 and 80.00 second cycle. Completeness student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 74.07% and in the second cycle of 96.29%. Implementation of learning using cooperative learning model STAD in human population density material in the first cycle of 100% and a second cycle of 100%.The results of data analysis showed that student learning outcomes of each cycle has reached the expected performance indicators

    The aim of this research is to increase activities and students achievement in grade VIII at SMP Ethika Pontianak on the material of digestive system on human by using cooperative learning model. This classroom action research has been done with two cycles and each cycle consisted of step, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research consist of 30 students with male students as much as 16 and female as much 14. In this research using observed student's activity worksheet to observe student's activity and give them test by using multiple choices in the end of cycles to know the result of student achievement. In the first cycles the percentage of active student is 40% and the second cycles the percentage of active students is 63,33%. At the first cycle the persentage of completeness of students is 63,33% and the second cycles completeness of students is 100%. Thus, cooperative learning can increase student activities and students achievement in the human digestive system material in grade VIII SMP Ethika Pontianak

    Hiperuresemia prevalence tends to increase in society. A combined extract of Uncaria gambir (gambir) and Caesalinia sappan (secang), had been proven to reduce blood uric acid level in vivo. This study aimed to evaluate the subchronic toxicity of this combination in male and female Sprague Dawley rat strain. Animals were randomly grouped into four groups, namely, DOSE-1 (75 mg/kg bw), DOSE-2 (300 mg/kg bw), DOSE-3 (1200 mg/kg bw) and control group gavaged with carrier. The tested sample was given for 7 weeks orally. The result of blood biochemical parameters were not different significantly compared to control (p&gt; 0.05), as well as the results of hematology analysis. However, the NEUT level of female of DOSIS-2 showed lower and significantly different compared to control (p &lt;0.05). Histopathological evaluation of liver, kidney, heart, small intestine, and stomach organs illustrated that no lesions found in animals especially in DOSE-1 compared to control significantly (p&gt;0,05). Furthermore, this dose did not influence feed intake and body weight of animals in each sex. From this study, it could be concluded that the combination administrated at the dose of 75 mg/kg bw for 7 consecutive weeks did not affect blood biochemistry and hematology and also organ histopathology of kidney, liver, heart, small intestine, and stomach

    This research aims to improve learning achievement and students activities in biology at the organization of life material using the cooperative model picture and picture aided handout. The form of this research is classroom action research, which consists of three cycles with the planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of research showed which has an improvement of passing grade between cycle 1, 2 and 3 were 7.14% and 14.28%. And which has an improvement of student activities between cycle 1, 2 and 3 were 2.73% dan 13.63%. The implementation of cooperative learning model of picture and picture-aided handout can be an alternative learning school biology because it can improve learning achievement and students activities

    Pengaruh Pendekatan Saintifik Berbantuan Media Koran terhadap Hasil Belajar dan Aktivitas Peserta Didik pada Sub Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan SMA

    The research aimed to find out the effect of scientific approach using newspaper on student achievement and student activity on environmental pollution material ingrade X Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. This was a quasi experimental study using nonequivalent control group design. The samples of the research were grade X MIA 1 as an experimental group, andgrade X MIA 2 as ancontrolgroup. The instrument employed was multiple choice test consisting 20 question and observation sheet of student activity. The average score for student achievement on experimental group was 14,86 and 13,29 for control group. Based on Mann Whitney U test for Zcount(-2,42) < -Ztabel(-1,96), there was a significant difference between student achievement that used newspaper and picture those who did not use these media. The effect size score was 0,67 (moderate) gave effec tby 24,82%. Student activity on experimental group improvedby 7,41% and 4,29% for control group. It is shown that scientific approach using newspaper had an impact on student achievement and student activity on environmental pollution material ingrade X Senior High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak
