Олімпізм в історії фізичної культури України
The Relevance of the Research. Ever since ancient times, Physical Education (PE) has been undergoing a process of formation, development, and enhancement in the territory occupied by modern Ukraine, and now it has become an integral part of ethnic culture. In current Research Papres, the historical aspects of PE and the contemporary applications of the physical culture traditions have been researched. However, the atmosphere of Olympism which has been present during the various historical periods of the physical culture development in Ukraine has never been the subject of specifically-focused study. Objective of the Research: To reveal the essence of Olympism in the history of PE in the territory of modern Ukraine. The Research Methods: analysis and generalization of scientific and ethnographic literature, induction and deduction, historical and logical methods, method of extrapolation. The Research Results. PE, in general, followed the tradition of ancient Greece and took place in gymnasia and palaestra, under the supervision of specially trained personnel. The program of the competition was quite broad and included pentathlon, pugilism, horseback riding, archery, swimming, dancing, and outdoor games, among others. Pentathlon consisted of wrestling, running, jumping, javelin throw, and discus throw. Extensive development of PE and sport in the Northern Seaside of the Black Sea led to close relationships with other sports policies in the Greek world. Athletes participated in the most prestigious competitions in Greece. Vicory was considered the highest achievement and brought fame and universal respect for fellow citizens. Conclusions. The tradition of Olympism in the history of PE in Ukraine reached the northern Black Sea area from the 7th century BC to the 2nd century AD. Over time, it created a unique PE system, based on national ideals of physical perfection, on the domestic and traditional ceremonies and customs of Olympism
Reformation the Organization of Educational Process on Physical Education of University Students
The scientific and methodical literature analysis, as well as investigation of sports and recreation needs of Lutsk students demonstrate that we need to pay constant attention to reformation of the educational physical training process of students of higher educational institutions. There is a tendency of poor health among students of higher educational establishments. Almost 90 % of young people have deviations in health, and more than 50 % have unsatisfactory physical training. The results of the study of the dynamics of students’ physical preparation indicate its reduction over four years of study at the University. One of the most effective ways of reforming the educational process is to attract students to practice sports in extracurricular time, as well as during obligatory physical training lessons. It will help to optimize students’ physical activity, to improve their physical efficiency and to avoid current problems
The Use of Individual Fitness Programs According to the Body Types of High School Girls As Means of Increasing Physical Activity
The actuality of the problem is caused by the necessity of the use of fitness as means of increasing physical activity at the educational institutions. The introduction of the newest pedagogical technologies is known to enable us to solve different problems of the individual oriented study, formation of the individual educational aspect. The methods of the research of the revelation of initial psychoemotional and morphofunctional state of the high school girls were questioning, testing, medical investigation. The results of the research. Fitness programs based on the recreative kinds of gymnastics considering the age, health state, the level of the physical development and motivational interests of high school girls. To solve the tasks of the correction of сonstitution, increase or decrease of some body parts fitness programs aimed at weight lifting were offered. During the pedagogical experiment the quantity of the respondents with a high level of physical activity increased by 54,7 %. The level of physical preparation (Р < 0,001) improved according to their endurance, strength, flexibility, agility. Conclusions. The improvement of the theoretical explanation and experimental testing of the methods of making individual fitness programs for high school girls considering their morphofunctional peculiarities, motivation and the high school girls’ body types in the process of doing physical exercises independently as a constituent part of health protection competence was emphasized.
