Study of immunomodulatory effect of atypical antipsychotic amisulpride has revealed a positive clinical effect after 6-week therapy of schizophrenic patients regarding both positive and negative symptoms. A decrease in activity of humoral immunity factors (В lymphocytes, immunoglobulins, HLA-DR+-cells) identified among schizophrenic patients in the process of amisulpride therapy can be attributed to a positive effect optimizing the ratio Th1/Th2. Amisulpride when used under experimental conditions produced a suppression of IgM-immune response in mice of the C57BL/6J strain. This effect was more expressed in animals with aggressive behavior pattern.

The aim: Improving the effects of pregnancy on the fetus and newborn through early diagnosis and timely comprehensive therapy of pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis. Materials and methods: We have conducted a complex examination of 60 women who got pregnant owing to assisted reproductive technologies, with concomitant intrahepatic cholestasis, and 20 practically healthy women with a physiological course of pregnancy and labor (reference group), aged between 18 and 42. The research did not involve pregnant women with chronic liver diseases, viral hepatitis, skin diseases. Womens who underwent the suggested complex drug therapy with Ursofalc, L-arginine and Omega 3, with peroral administration for 14 days according to the following scheme: Ursofalc – 250 mg once a day, L-arginine – 5 ml 3 times a day, Omega 3 – 1 capsule a day. The complex examination of pregnant women with IHC was conducted before and after treatment. We analyzed the data of anamnesis, carried out anthropometric measurements, clinical biochemical examinations of the women with IHC, including the measurement of the levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, total and direct bilirubin, total and placental alkaline phosphatase, leucine aminopeptidase, 5’-nucleotidase, cholic, deoxycholic and chenodeoxycholic acids as wells as their total level. Results: Almost 40 % of women with intrahepatic cholestasis gave birth to babies with asphyxia, including severe one in 11.1 % of cases, 1/3 of the newborns were premature, 40% had signs of hypotrophy, and 66.7 % experienced a disturbed course of early neonatal adaptation. There was also a higher level of perinatal mortality. The newborns from women who had undergone the suggested complex therapy presented no cases of hypotrophy, prenatal infection or cerebral circulation disorder. Conclusions: Thus, functional hepatic disorders in women with infertility play a certain role in the carrying of pregnancy after ART, in the development of pregnancy complications and adverse consequences for women and their newborns. The conducted research shows that early diagnosis and timely complex therapy of pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis makes it possible to influence the pathogenesis of perinatal complications and improve the consequences of pregnancy for the fetus and the newborn

Viability, Ultrastructure, and Migration Activity of Neutrophils after Phagocytosis of Synthetic Microcapsules

© 2020, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Abstract: Neutrophils are the most numerous leukocyte population, which is part of the innate immunity system and provides antibacterial protection to the body. The ability of neutrophils to phagocytosis and chemotaxis make it possible to consider them for potential targeted delivery of drugs to the inflammatory foci. Loading of migrating neutrophils with encapsulated medicinal drugs makes it possible to reduce its toxic effect on the carrier cell, as well as to avoid changes in the concentration and bioactivity of the transported substance. In this work, we studied the interaction of synthetic microcapsules (potential “cargo containers”) with human neutrophils, namely, their phagocytic activity, ultrastructural changes, and capability for migration after phagocytosis. The results showed that, during short-term neutrophil cultivation with microcapsules, the cells phagocytized the microcapsules in proportion to their number in the extracellular medium. Neutrophils partially retained viability and migratory activity. However, prolonged cultivation of neutrophils in vitro with microcapsules decreased the neutrophil population and migration ability of the surviving cells, which indicated the cytotoxic effect of microcapsules. The internalization of microcapsules was accompanied by changes in the ultrastructure of neutrophils. Altered nuclear shape, plasma membrane disruption, vacuolization of the cytoplasm, and even complete destruction of individual cells were observed. Thus, neutrophils are potentially suitable for the transfer of encapsulated substances, but the development of targeted delivery systems using neutrophils and synthetic microcapsules requires optimization and further research

The availability and functionality of mobile electronic devices, information and communication applications and programs, the emergence of new devices and equipment contribute to the creation of a problematic situation of pedagogical update in the existing classification of electronic educational resources through the implementation of a new generation of multimedia software. In this regard, the main attention in this article is given to the identification of the design features for multimedia support of the new generation, corresponding to the goals and objectives of updating electronic educational resources of the University educational process. The article reveals the pedagogical advantages of electronic educational resources' key categories; the classification of the University educational process's electronic educational resources is established, taking into account the multimedia support of a new generation; the modern requirements for the design of content and technologies of designing multimedia support of electronic educational resources are defined. On the basis of the study results the effectiveness of the structure and content, technologies of use and distribution of multimedia support of the new generation in updating electronic educational resources of the University educational process are proved
