Exotic solutions in string theory
Solutions of classical string theory, correspondent to the world sheets,
mapped in Minkowsky space with a fold, are considered. Typical processes for
them are creation of strings from vacuum, their recombination and annihilation.
These solutions violate positiveness of square of mass and Regge condition. In
quantum string theory these solutions correspond to physical states |DDF>+|sp>
with non-zero spurious component.Comment: accepted in Il Nuovo Cimento A for publication in 199
Mitochondrial DNA analysis of eneolithic trypillians from Ukraine reveals neolithic farming genetic roots
The agricultural revolution in Eastern Europe began in the Eneolithic with the Cucuteni-Trypillia culture complex. In Ukraine, the Trypillian culture (TC) existed for over two millennia (ca. 5,400–2,700 BCE) and left a wealth of artifacts. Yet, their burial rituals remain a mystery and to date almost nothing is known about the genetic composition of the TC population. One of the very few TC sites where human remains can be found is a cave called Verteba in western Ukraine. This report presents four partial and four complete mitochondrial genomes from nine TC individuals uncovered in the cave. The results of this analysis, combined with the data from previous reports, indicate that the Trypillian population at Verteba carried, for the most part, a typical Neolithic farmer package of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) lineages traced to Anatolian farmers and Neolithic farming groups of central Europe. At the same time, the find of two specimens belonging to haplogroup U8b1 at Verteba can be viewed as a connection of TC with the Upper Paleolithic European populations. At the level of mtDNA haplogroup frequencies, the TC population from Verteba demonstrates a close genetic relationship with population groups of the Funnel Beaker/ Trichterbecker cultural complex from central and northern Europe (ca. 3,950–2,500 BCE)
Relativistic Coulomb problem for particles with arbitrary half-integer spin
Using relativistic tensor-bispinorial equations proposed in hep-th/0412213 we
solve the Kepler problem for a charged particle with arbitrary half-integer
spin interacting with the Coulomb potential.Comment: Misprints are correcte
Superintegrable systems with spin and second-order integrals of motion
We investigate a quantum nonrelativistic system describing the interaction of
two particles with spin 1/2 and spin 0, respectively. We assume that the
Hamiltonian is rotationally invariant and parity conserving and identify all
such systems which allow additional integrals of motion that are second order
matrix polynomials in the momenta. These integrals are assumed to be scalars,
pseudoscalars, vectors or axial vectors. Among the superintegrable systems
obtained, we mention a generalization of the Coulomb potential with scalar
potential and spin orbital one

On the new approach to variable separation in the time-dependent Schr\"odinger equation with two space dimensions
We suggest an effective approach to separation of variables in the
Schr\"odinger equation with two space variables. Using it we classify
inequivalent potentials such that the corresponding Schr\" odinger
equations admit separation of variables. Besides that, we carry out separation
of variables in the Schr\" odinger equation with the anisotropic harmonic
oscillator potential and obtain a complete list of
coordinate systems providing its separability. Most of these coordinate systems
depend essentially on the form of the potential and do not provide separation
of variables in the free Schr\" odinger equation ().Comment: 21 pages, latex, to appear in the "Journal of Mathematical Physics"

New exactly solvable relativistic models with anomalous interaction
A special class of Dirac-Pauli equations with time-like vector potentials of
external field is investigated. A new exactly solvable relativistic model
describing anomalous interaction of a neutral Dirac fermion with a
cylindrically symmetric external e.m. field is presented. The related external
field is a superposition of the electric field generated by a charged infinite
filament and the magnetic field generated by a straight line current. In
non-relativistic approximation the considered model is reduced to the
integrable Pron'ko-Stroganov model.Comment: 20 pages, discussion of the possibility to test the model

ONTOLOGICAL AND SOCIO-CULTURAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE INTER-GENERATED DISCOURSE IN THE MODERN INFORMATION SOCIETY
Purpose of the study: The article is devoted to understanding the problems of intergenerational discourse and its transformation in ontological and sociocultural reality. The paper substantiates the need to maintain the mechanism of accumulation and reproduction of the experience of ancestors. It is shown that the violation of the transfer of knowledge and traditions leads to the distortion or disappearance of universal cultural codes.
Methodology: In this article, cultural, demographic, and psychological approaches are used to study the ontological and sociocultural foundations of intergenerational discourse. It is necessary to show the influence of historical and socio-cultural transformations on the characteristics of interaction between generations, to determine the form of transfer and assimilation of experience within the family, to demonstrate the socially significant consequences of the demographic revolution in the modern information society.
Main Findings: Having outlined only a few reasons for the intergenerational discourse in the field of translation of sociocultural experience, it can be noted that their combination forms the layer of human life in which historically determined values and ideals of human society are realized, methods of accumulation and transfer of experience that are unique for each historical era, new methods communications.
Applications of this study: Research results can be applied in the course of social psychology (today, young people are literally imposed a radical cultural gap with previous generations), social philosophy, cultural studies (the form of transfer of experience within the family) and even demography (large-scale changes in human society, with the destruction of human social instincts).
Novelty/Originality of this study: As the initial task of the study, it is supposed to identify historical and sociocultural changes in the field of translation and appropriation of experience, to conduct a cultural analysis that gives a clear idea of the evolution of the methods of interaction between generations. An interdisciplinary approach involves a wider coverage of existing concepts and shows that the patterns of development of human society cannot be reduced only to biological, economic or socio-cultural patterns
Production of nanoporous sorbents by partial steam-air conversion of charcoal
An effective sorbent is activated carbon having a developed nanoporous structure with an average pore diameter about 2-4 nm. Perspective method of activated carbon production is the partial steam conversion of the coal bed in boiler furnaces of power plants. The additional thermal energy is produced by burning the syngas. The aim of this work is to study the co-production of activated carbon and syngas by partial steam-air conversion of charcoal. Due to the presence of oxygen in the flow, intensification of conversion occurs. In the laboratory bed reactor, the mass loss curves and the syngas composition were obtained at temperatures of 800°C and 900°C. Two zones with different reaction mechanisms were identified on the height of the bed. The reactions between carbon and steam shift toward hydrogen formation in the oxygen zone. The dependence of the porous structure of the activated carbon on the conversion degree of the raw material is obtained. The maximum of micropores is formed at a conversion degree of 0.5. The material and energy balance of the partial conversion in the laboratory reactor was estimated. © 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing.
