              This study aims to determine patterns rearing of ducks are integrated with the palm oil, and  know how contribution the maintenance of duck to palm plant.The method used in this research is a case study in Farmers Group Taruna Jaya Pelaihari, Tanah Laut district that maintain of ducks integrated with oil palm plantations. The results showed that rearing ducks effective on integrase with oil palms use a mixed pattern, with three segments, namely from DOD for one month in the enclosures with a dirt floor, at the age 1- 6 months duck removable to roam among oil palm trees, and when it begins to lay eggs 50% per day until late in the maintenance (+ 20 months) is raised on the stage enclosure. The results also showed that in addition to producing eggs, integrase duck with oil palm trees can be reduce maintenance costs on maintenance of oil palm, including free of weed, free of inorganic fertilizers except as much as 1.5 kg / tree / year of calcium oxida. The growth of oil palm production is better shown with a larger diameter trunk circumference and result production is higher than reared conventionally

    One way to use house yard land to achieve household food security is to use the hydroponic method. Farming with the hydroponic method in utilizing narrow land in urban areas or in housing is not something new, but in the Semangat Karya Village, Barito Kuala Regency, it is still many do not know clearly how to grow a garden with the wick hydroponic method. The selection of the wick hydroponic system is because according to the Kementan (2018) this system is the simplest hydroponic model using a wick that connects plant pots with nutrient solution media. Therefore this service activity aims to provide knowledge and training to support skills in farming using the wick hydroponic method. This community service activity begins with filling out the pretest questionnaire followed by a presentation of the delivery of the material, then a demonstration of the direct method or practice and ends with the provision of a posttest questionnaire. The results showed that the wick system hydroponic training was able to increase the knowledge, understanding and skills of partners in plant cultivation using the wick system hydroponic method.Salah satu cara memanfaatkan lahan perkarangan rumah guna mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga adalah dengan menggunakan metode hidroponik. Bercocok tanam dengan metode hidroponik dalam memanfaatkan lahan yang sempit di perkotaan atau di perumahan bukan sesuatu yang baru, namun di Desa Semangat Karya Kabupaten Barito Kuala masih banyak yang belum mengetahui dengan jelas bagaimana cara bercocok taman dengan metode hidroponik sistem wick. Pemilihan hidroponik sistem wick ini karena menurut Kementan (2018) merupakan model hidroponik paling sederhana dengan menggunakan sumbu yang menghubungkan pot tanaman dengan media larutan nutrisi. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pelatihan guna menunjang keterampilan dalam bercocok tanam dengan metode hidroponik sistem wick. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diawali dengan pengisian kuesioner pretest dilanjutkan dengan presentasi penyampaian materi, demonstrasi cara atau praktik langsung, dan diakhiri dengan pemberian kuesioner posttest. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan hidroponik sistem wick ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman serta keterampilan mitra dalam budidaya tanaman dengan metode hidroponik sistem wick

    One of the ways to utilize the yard of the house is by using the aquaponics method and cultivating fish in buckets (budikdamber). The activity of keeping or raising fish using limited land is something that is quite difficult to do in the Semangat Karya Village, Barito Kuala Regency, which is dominated by swamps. There is no assistance in empowering village communities in fish farming activities, which is the main factor in the lack of community interest. Therefore, this service activity aims to provide knowledge and training to support skills in cultivating fish in buckets (budikdamber) and aquaponics. The method for implementing this service activity begins with filling out a pre-test questionnaire, presentation of material by the supervisor, then continues with a post-test and activities to assist participants in cultivating fish in buckets (budikdamber) and aquaponics. The result is an increase in knowledge, understanding and skills in bucket fish cultivation (budikdamber) and aquaponics in the village of Semangat Karya, Alalak District, Barito Kuala Regency.Salah satu cara memanfaatkan lahan pekarangan rumah dengan cara menggunakan metode akuaponik dan budidaya ikan dalam ember (budikdamber). Kegiatan memelihara atau beternak ikan dengan memanfaatkan lahan yang sempit di perumahan merupakan sesuatu yang cukup sulit untuk dilakukan di Desa Semangat Karya Kabupaten Barito Kuala yang didominasi oleh rawa, belum ada pendampingan pemberdayaan masyarakat desa dalam kegiatan beternak ikan menjadi faktor utama dalam kurangnya minat masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan  pengetahuan  dan  pelatihan guna menunjang  keterampilan  dalam  kegiatan budidaya ikan dalam ember (budikdamber) dan akuaponik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini diawali dengan mengisi kuesioner pretest, presentasi materi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan posttest dan kegiatan pendampingan peserta dalam budidaya ikan dalam ember (budikdamber) dan akuaponik.                The availability of quality forage is limited so that the necessary efforts to provide forage quality and its availability guaranteed. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of different Bokashi fertilizer on protein and crude fiber content of grass (Pennisetum purpureum). This research method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications consisting of: P0: Control (without Bokashi). P1: Giving ground bokasi 5 kg + 15 kg (ratio 1: 3). P2: Giving ground bokasi 10 kg + 10 kg (ratio 1: 1). P3: Giving bokasi 15 kg + 5 kg soil (3: 1) . observed. production of dry metter ingredients, protein and crude fiber from grass harvested at 60 days. The results showed that administration of different Bokashi can give effect to increase the protein content and decreased crude fiber. Concluded Bokhasi grass can improve the productivity of  grass.

    The research was conducted in the village of Pinang Habang Wanaraya Barito Kuala District of South Kalimantan Province. When the study began in October until April. Data collected includes primary and secondary data by using a sampling technique by means of a simple random sample (Sample Random Sampling) is sampling 25% of the 87 farmers as many as 22 people are to farm the farmer scallion scallion. The results showed that the production of scallions average of 3545.45 kg / one growing season with an average land area of 0.30 ha / farmer. The amount of revenue that an average of Rp39.000.000,00, - the selling price Rp11.000,00, - / kg. The total average cost of Rp21.330.847,36, - / farmers include explicit costs an average of Rp9.240.732,85, - / farmers and implicit costs an average of Rp21.004.166,66, - / farmers. so that the total average cost of Rp30.244.899,51, - / farmers. While the average income of Rp29.759.267,15, - / farmer with a gain of Rp8.755.100,49, - / farmers. Feasibility level with RCR value of 1.29 and, -, with a breakeven point BEP Production amounted to 369.69 kg less than the amount of production that is equal to 3545.45 kg, and the price of Rp8.548,54 BEP, - less than the price the current Law Rp11.000,00, -, scallion kg, the farmers gain acceptance for Rp4.066.553,15, -. means farming leek Pinang Village Habang Wanaraya Barito Kuala District of South Kalimantan worth the effort

    IbM PENGOLAHAN BUAH NAGA SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN NILAI TAMBAH DAN PENGENDALIAN HARGA BUAH NAGA DI KABUPATEN TANAH LAUT

    Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah untuk :1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan masyarakat dalam mengolahan hasil buah naga dan manajemen usaha dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai tambah dari budidaya buah naga, 2) diharapkan mampu menyerap hasil budidaya buah naga yang ada di daerah tersebut, 3) membuka peluang usaha produksi pengolahan buah naga menjadi produk yang dapat dipasarkan dan sekaligus dapat dijadikan salah satu produk unggulan Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, demonstrasi, dan pelatihan. Evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan pada aspek input, proses, produk, dan kepuasan peserta. Adapun peserta kegiatan IbM ini adalah ibu-ibu PKK, Desa Kunyit dan Tirta Jaya, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Sedangkan waktu pelaksanaannya yaitu mulai bulan Juli sampai Nopember 2017. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Buah naga dapat dibuat menjadi berbagai macam produk olahan yaitu aneka kudapan buah naga, sari buah naga, stik buah naga, selai buah naga, dan ice crem buah naga; 3) berdasarkan tingkat penerimaan konsumen produk olahan buah naga berkisar dari suka sampai sangat suka untuk warna dan ai suka untuk rasa, aroma dan keseluruhan; 4) pengabdian masyarakat ini, mampu memberdayakan, memotivasi, dan mendorong jiwa kewirausahaan para peserta
