    X-ray film chamber with carbon target of Tien-Shan complex array

    X-ray films were exposed inside the ionization calorimeter under 74g/sq cm of carbon and 5 cm of lead. The X-ray film chamber area is 35 sq. m. Moving X-ray films were used, 50% of the events, which succeeded to determine incidence time, were identified with corresponding extensive air showers (EAS). For such events the size spectrum of associated EAS was derived. Two methods of energy measurement using X-ray films and ionization calorimeter were compared. The energy transfer from selected hadron to electromagnetic component is illustrated. It is found that in cascades with high energy release into electromagnetic components the hadron component is practically absent

    In the conditions of the growing competition and growth of number of ahead of schedule terminated leasing transactions lessors need to predict correctly the probable financial risks connected with uncertain behavior of all participants of the project. The built-in real options can provide this protection against financial risks to the leasing companies. The present study examines the applicability of main types of real options in project financing with leased assets, as well as conditions imposed on the leased assets and the project itself. This article describes particularities of real option valuation if underlying asset is a leased asset. This article includes analysis of leased assets residual value predictability and presents ways how to estimate it correctly. В условиях растущей конкуренции и роста числа досрочно расторгнутых лизинговых сделок лизингодателям необходимо корректно прогнозировать вероятные финансовые риски, связанные с неопределенным поведением всех участников проекта. Эту защиту от финансовых рисков могут предоставить лизинговым компаниям встроенные реальные опционы. В работе проанализированы преимущества и недостатки применимости реальных опционов (опциона на выход из проекта и опциона на выкуп лизингового актива) в лизинговых проектах в российских реалиях. Также даны рекомендации российским участникам лизинговых сделок по оценке и условиям использования реальных опционов. В процессе проведения исследования была выявлена проблема оценки остаточной стоимости лизингового актива и предложены варианты ее решения.

    ROLE OF JOINT VENTURE “SOVHISPAN” IN NORMALIZATION OF THE SOVIET-SPANISH BILATERAL RELATIONS

    The object of this research is to support the statement about the prevalence of the economic interest over the political ones, taking as an example the reestablishment of the Soviet-Spanish bilateral relations. The historical context of the creation of the Soviet-Spanish joint venture “Sovhispan”is highlighted as the final outcome of the secret negotiations and previous business practices between Spain and the Soviet Union in the late 1960s. The Soviet-Spanish economic relations started ten years before their normalization in 1977, the Canary Islandsbeing one of the places of their development. The principal conclusions of the research are: the geostrategic position of Spain was appreciated by the USA, via installation of the military bases on the mainland, and the USSR, using the Canary Islands as an operational base for the Soviet Fishing Fleet. “Sovrybflot”, an internal structure of the Ministry of Fisheries of the USSR, managed the overseas activity of the Soviet Fishing fleet abroad. Thus, the arrival of avast Soviet fishing fleet in the Canary Islands and the creation of the joint venture “Sovhispan” was a result of its work. “Sovhispan” was a “bridge” in the normalization of the Soviet-Spanish bilateral relations, and bankrupted with the dissolution of the USSR

    The new heterometallic title complex, [Co(NCS)2(C10H8N2)(NH3)2][Cr(NCS)4(NH3)2]·2CH3CN, has been prepared using the open-air reaction of cobalt powder, Reineckes salt and 2,2′-bipyridine (dpy) in acetonitrile. The crystal structure consists of discrete cationic [Co(NCS)2(NH3)2(dpy)]+ and anionic [Cr(NCS)4(NH3)2]− building blocks, both with 2 symmetry, and acetonitrile solvent mol­ecules, which are linked together by N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds, forming extended supra­molecular chains. Furthermore, N—H⋯S, C—H⋯S and C—H⋯N hydrogen bonds inter­link neighbouring chains into a three-dimensional framework. The Co atom is in an elongated octa­hedral coordination environment with two N atoms from the dpy ligands and two NCS-groups in the equatorial plane and with two NH3 mol­ecules at the axial positions. The CrIII ion is octa­hedraly coordinated by two NH3 mol­ecules at the axial positions and four NCS-groups in the equatorial plane. Intensity statistics indicated non-merohedral twinning with the twin matrix [100; 00; 0]. The refined ratio of the twin components is 0.530 (1):0.470 (1)
