Doing a belt test on a Twin City tractor. The tractor is tested with a "Prony Brake" dynamometer, which is a friction-based type and very unstable in maintaining a constant load. This test was probably set up for a demonstration because the much more reliable electric dynamometers had been used at the test lab since 1920.
