Driving the narrative flow of an interactive storytelling system for case studies

Interactive Storytelling systems combine natural language processing techniques with gameplay to provide a narrative-based environment where a player’s decisions can alter the flow of the game. This type of simulated story world setup can facilitate the teaching and learning of concepts in different domains, such as the case method. A case method is an approach utilized by educators to encourage student participation through the direct discussion of a given specific real-life or imagined situation (the case study) where they can practice their decision-making skills. In this paper, we discuss how we designed an interactive storytelling environment with case studies as its central theme, to enable business students to learn ethical business practices and simulate the effect of their decisions to the organization. © Springer International Publishing AG, part of Springer Nature 2018

Loppiano Prima \ue8 una piccola cooperativa e dal 2004 prende il nome: "Fattoria Loppiano" e attualmente continua la sua attivit\ue0 agricola. Ho scelto questo caso, perch\ue9 il suo avvio, la sua storia e le sue dinamiche di governo, rappresentano l'implementazione dei principi di comunione e fraternit\ue0. Il periodo considerato \ue8 fino al 2007, perch\ue9 era stato un problema gestionale molto interessante da risolvere e il processo decisionale ha mostrato le dimensioni di una CSR forte e motivazioni intrinseche.This chapter want to describe the case that represents the implementation of the passage from weak CSR to strong CSR . The case is of \u201cLoppiano Prima\u201d. Loppiano Prima is a small cooperative and from 2004 took the name: \u201cFattoria Loppiano\u201d and at present is continuing its agricultural activity. I chose this case, because its start up, history and dynamics of governance, represents the implementation of communion and fraternity principles. The period considered is up to 2007, because It had been a very interesting management problems to solve and the decision making process showed the dimensions of strong CSR and intrinsic motivations
