Neurocognitive Trends in the Structural-Functional Model of the Lexical-Semantic Way of Word Formation

The article analyzes traditional views of Ukrainian linguists on the consideration/disregard of neurocognitive factors in the lexical-semantic way of word formation (hereinafter “LSWWF”). The relevance of the article lies in a pronounced divergence in the views, as well as in the contradictions in the interpretation of polysemy as a result of this type of word formation. Research methods include analysis of definitions and basic theories, comparison, extrapolation of a neuroscientific perspective on the cognitive nature of metaphorical generation of new meanings on traditional (structural and functional) approaches to linguistic phenomena. The article proves that Ukrainian linguistics involves prerequisites and basics of cognitive subject-based explanation of secondary semantics, present since the Soviet period, and lacks categorical and methodological tools for its interpretation. Besides, the authors of the article suggest some compromise solutions to these contradictions without completely abandoning traditional views on word formation. The international relevance of the article is seen in its attempts to reconsider the significant traditional achievements of Eastern European linguistics (on the example of Ukraine) in the context of objective natural neurocognitive views on key linguistic processes, in particular LSWWF.</em

Cosmological and Cultural-Anthropological Turns in the Christian Philosophical Theology: Educational Implications in the Post-secular Contexts

The article proposes the analysis of the changes in self-understanding of the Christian theology, which is regarded as a hybrid philosophical discipline in the post-secular cultural and social contexts with references to cosmology. This transformation is caused by the cosmological and cultural-anthropological turns in the Christian theoretical theology and its practices, which were enriched with the actual cosmological and philosophical knowledge about human and non-human nature. The new perspectives of philosophical theology are showed with its cultural and educational implications. The psycho-therapeutical potential of philosophical theology is explicated

Імплементація стратегічного управлінського обліку на промислових підприємствах

The paper considers the essential characteristics and specific featuresof strategic management accounting. The aim of the article is a comprehensive assessment of management processes, determine the theoretical and methodological aspects of the implementation of strategic management accounting in the current economic conditions to meet the requirements of international practice of accounting and national legislation for the industrial enterprises. In the methodical plan analyzed the differences of strategic and conventional management accounting. Defined information objectives of strategic management accounting, which are solved in the system of decision-making. The results of the study is to develop a test for the similarity of the traditional and strategic management accounting, developed their comparative characteristic differences. Based on the characteristics of strategic management accounting, highlighted the main group of the most important information tasks. It was found that the whole process of implementation of the strategic management accounting should be carried out carefully, step by step, with the assessment of the effectiveness of each stage and careful planning next, because the cost of improving the management information system should provide a tangible effect on the production plant. Scientific novelty of the paper is to study the introduction of elements of strategic management accountig and uses of its information systems. It identified the importance of strategic management accounting system, which should lead to increased efficiency of the enterprise as a whole. Using internal and external information, strategic management accounting provides a prediction of the development needs of the enterprise, carrying out analysis of the activities, taking into account both current and long-term goals.Розглянуто сутнісну характеристику та специфічні особливості стратегічного управлінського обліку. Метою статті є комплексна оцінка системи управлінських процесів, з’ясування теоретичних і методологічних аспектів імплементації стратегічного управлінського обліку в сучасних економічних умовах з урахуванням вимог міжнародної практики ведення обліку та вітчизняного законодавства для виробничих підприємств. У методичному плані проаналізовано відмінності стратегічного і традиційного управлінського обліку. Визначено інформаційні завдання стратегічного управлінського обліку, що вирішуються в системі прийняття рішень. Результатами дослідження є розроблення тесту на схожість традиційного та стратегічного управлінського обліків, розроблено їх порівняльну характеристику відмінностей. Виходячи із особливостей стратегічного управлінського обліку, виділено основні групи найбільш важливих інформаційних завдань. Встановлено, що весь процес впровадження системи стратегічного управлінського обліку необхідно проводити обмірковано, поетапно, з оцінкою ефективності кожної стадії і ретельним плануванням наступної, оскільки витрати на вдосконалення інформаційної системи управління повинні забезпечити відчутний ефект для виробничого підприємства. Науковою новизною статті є обґрунтування запровадження елементів стратегічного управлінського обліку та напрями використання його інформаційного забезпечення. Визначено важливість використання системи стратегічного управлінського обліку, що має призвести до підвищення ефективності діяльності підприємства в цілому. Використовуючи зовнішню та внутрішню інформацію, стратегічний управлінський облік забезпечує потреби прогнозування розвитку підприємства, здійснюючи аналіз діяльності з урахуванням як поточних, так і довгострокових цілей

Impacts of Symptom Checkers for Laypersons’ Self-diagnosis on Physicians in Primary Care: Scoping Review

BackgroundSymptom checkers (SCs) for laypersons’ self-assessment and preliminary self-diagnosis are widely used by the public. Little is known about the impact of these tools on health care professionals (HCPs) in primary care and their work. This is relevant to understanding how technological changes might affect the working world and how this is linked to work-related psychosocial demands and resources for HCPs. ObjectiveThis scoping review aimed to systematically explore the existing publications on the impacts of SCs on HCPs in primary care and to identify knowledge gaps. MethodsWe used the Arksey and O’Malley framework. We based our search string on the participant, concept, and context scheme and searched PubMed (MEDLINE) and CINAHL in January and June 2021. We performed a reference search in August 2021 and a manual search in November 2021. We included publications of peer-reviewed journals that focused on artificial intelligence- or algorithm-based self-diagnosing apps and tools for laypersons and had primary care or nonclinical settings as a relevant context. The characteristics of these studies were described numerically. We used thematic analysis to identify core themes. We followed the PRISMA-ScR (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews) checklist to report the study. ResultsOf the 2729 publications identified through initial and follow-up database searches, 43 full texts were screened for eligibility, of which 9 were included. Further 8 publications were included through manual search. Two publications were excluded after receiving feedback in the peer-review process. Fifteen publications were included in the final sample, which comprised 5 (33%) commentaries or nonresearch publications, 3 (20%) literature reviews, and 7 (47%) research publications. The earliest publications stemmed from 2015. We identified 5 themes. The theme finding prediagnosis comprised the comparison between SCs and physicians. We identified the performance of the diagnosis and the relevance of human factors as topics. In the theme layperson-technology relationship, we identified potentials for laypersons’ empowerment and harm through SCs. Our analysis showed potential disruptions of the physician-patient relationship and uncontested roles of HCPs in the theme (impacts on) physician-patient relationship. In the theme impacts on HCPs’ tasks, we described the reduction or increase in HCPs’ workload. We identified potential transformations of HCPs’ work and impacts on the health care system in the theme future role of SCs in health care. ConclusionsThe scoping review approach was suitable for this new field of research. The heterogeneity of technologies and wordings was challenging. We identified research gaps in the literature regarding the impact of artificial intelligence– or algorithm-based self-diagnosing apps or tools on the work of HCPs in primary care. Further empirical studies on HCPs’ lived experiences are needed, as the current literature depicts expectations rather than empirical findings
